हिन्दी दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं. आज कोई भी न्यूज चैनल खोलने पर बस सुशांत, रिया और कंगना की ही चर्चा सुनायी देती है. ऐसा लगता है कि 130 करोड़ भारतवासियों को सिर्फ यही सरोकार रह गया है. मानता हूँ कि ये भी एक बहुत ही गंभीर मुद्दा है जिसका निराकरण अवश्य होना चाहिए, सच जरूर सामने आना चाहिए और अब जब कि सर्कार की विभिन्न संस्थाएँ जांच मे संलग्न है तो उन्हें भी पुख्ता नतीजे तक पहुंचने के लिए समय देना चाहिए. ये कोई कंप्युटर तो है नहीं की बटन दबाया और परिणाम सामने. कुछ वक़्त देना चाहिए और मीडिया ट्रायल से बचना चाहिये, विपरीत असर पड़ता है.

देश में इस समय अनेक मुद्दे हैं जिनपर मीडिया फोकस नही करता है. आज अर्थव्यवस्था मे दिक्कत है और हम बजाय इसके कि सर्कार को दोष दे इस बात पर बहस होनी चाहिए कि इन समस्याओं का निराकरण कैसे हो और सर्कार को सकारात्मक सुझाव देना चाहिए ना की सिर्फ दोषारोपण करना चाहिए. विपक्ष भी अपनी भूमिका नही निभा रहे हैं शायद इसीलिए उनकी प्रासंगिकता भी खत्म हो रही है. चीन का भी मुद्दा है, बेरोजगारी और इस महामारी की वज़ह से जॉब loss भी हुआ है. ये बहुत ही गंभीर मुद्दे हैं इन सब पर सकारात्मक चर्चा अवश्य होनी चाहिए.

इसमे कोई दो राय नहीं है कि भारत बहुत तरक्की कर रहा है किन्तु समस्या तो रोज सामने आती है और अगर विपक्ष और न्यूज चैनल अपनी भूमिका निभा रहे हैं तो क्यों न ये कार्य जनता जनार्दन करे. मैं यही कहूंगा कि हमे समस्या को इंगित करते हुए उसका समाधान भी बताना चाहिए सिर्फ़ आलोचना करना और निंदा करना उचित नहीं है, करना भी नहीं चाहिए.

Team Yogi a blend of youth & experience takes oath of office.Yogi ji will definitely has work cut out for him.UP is presently in a pretty bad shape.Law & order should be the top priority together with speeding up development projects which benefits all sections of the society. #UnionBudget 2017 -2018 presented by FM Sri Arun Jaitely today has addressed all fronts. The bright spot is curb on political donations in cash from Rs20000/ to Rs2000/ will definitely give nightmares to private limited or rather family owned political parties .Infrastructure & Agriculture has been given a big thrust in view of extra allocations & lowering of Corporate tax on companies I would have pleased more if a cap on interest rates on education,business & other loans were announced. Still the interest rates are high which result in NPA'S & are counter productive to industry in particular & hurts the general section of the population at large. Thumbs up to FM & my rating 9 out of 10.

Supreme Court of India deserves to be complimented for directing all NGO'S to file a statement of account wibefore the designated authority. Although majority of NGO'S are doing a very noble job for the betterment & service of the society in their own way but since they are taking money from government, Public & CSR funds they must be held accountable for the receipts & expenditure.It has been revealed that there are about 37lakh NGO'S registered in the country & are close to availing approximately 9000 crore rupees from central & state government apart from other sources of money even foreign donations also.Due to huge involvement of public money & also some NGO'S iindulging in nefarious activities which are detrimental to national interest as well as the society at large,that they must be held accountable.
It has also come to light that some of the NGO'S act as conduit for black money conversion & also it should be mandatory for them to collect & pay all amounts above Rs2000/ by digital mode through net banking,Cheque,NEFT etc.This will ensure transparency in their working after all they are exempted from paying income tax so why not comply with a simple statutory requirement.
I am also sure that cashless mode of payments will also be followed by political parties,religious,charitable, educational trusts as well as some nursing home hospitals running as research centres so that loopholes in the economy are plugged.Let us take a step forward for a cleaner India

Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi must be complemented for a bold demonetization step.Its almost 60 days & the promised deadline of 50 days to ensure enough availability of cash at banks & ATM'S has been met.This has further enhanced the creditability of PM & his government.Long ques are a thing of the past.Our PM has been criticized for this step but I think it was the right decision & yes short term problems have been faced by the public due to cash cruntch & non availability of digital or online payments. It is due to lack of knowledge & apprehension that online payments are not safe.I have used many payment options like Net Banking,wallet payments like PAYTM etc. & NEFT & IMPS mode apart from card swapping.I must say its very easy,safe & fast.
Yes there has been short term loss in business & manufacturing which may result in lower GDP but its impact will be negligible & economy will be back on track by March 2017. To boost economy interest rates must be brought down to 7-8% & vice versa on savings.This will promote growth& spending as well as consumption resulting in higher GDP.GOI will earn higher revenue by way of increased collection of VAT & excise duty & this money can be used for infrastructure spending,social & education sectors & the agriculture sectors.
My recipe to prescribe withdraw Rs2000/ ruppe notes at the earliest maybe in next 6 months to curb black money & corruption including terrorism funding.Good Luck Modi ji

Raghuram Rajan - No 2nd innings for him

So finally the curtains on Raghuram Rajan RBI Governor have been drawn.No more 2nd term for him.While i appreciate his academic acumen but as RBI Governor he was to cautious in his approach. Maybee that was his style of functioning but the aggressive style of working of Modi Government perhaps did not match his approach towards implementing economic policies of the government of the day. Inspite of repeated request by FM he did not bring down the interest rates,that in my view would have boosted demand & industrial production which in turn would have given a fillup to the markets by way of increased spending & even less NPA'S of banks.With the government relying heavily on infrastructure development & Make-In-India initiative the lower interest rates could have given a big boost by way of private sector investments in these areas.I remember the days of former Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpai's regime when the interest rates were perhaps at the lowest & this has been the vision & policy of BJP'S economic policy as I understand.So what stopped him from toeing the government line ? Today many congressmen are batting for him praising his academic capability but they conveniently forget that former PM Dr.Manmohan Singh was perhaps the most celeberated & widely accepted great economist but it was during his regime what happenned to the the economy is known to all.
Let's hope the new RBI Governor while continuing the good work of Dr.raguram Rajan will certainly persue the vision of the economic policies of the government by lowering interest rates & pushing more & more credit in the industry & agriculture.I am sure that stray cases of Vijay Mallya will not deter the Banks to approach the market with a more pragmatic & friendly approach.my best wishes to Dr.Rahuram Rajan for his future endeavours

RBI has not cut the interest rates today but why are we depending on RBI only to bail out this country from the financial mess caused by scams,inefficiency policy paralysis & so on.Our own goverment has to step in instead of depending on RBI.It will have to stop wastefull expenditures like MNREGA,Mid day meal,subsidies on diesel for SUV users & DG sets & the upcoming brainchild of UPA the food security bill & use these funds for infrastructure development.Only this will push the economy & automatically bring down the interest rates & bring a qualitative change in the lifestyles of its citizen.One more thing all projects acrross the country needing clearances from one ministry to another may be expedited on war foot so that huge amount of money of Banks stuck up there may be released in the economy.Is any body listening..........

National Government at the Centre---Left,Right & Centre made accountable

Every politician is saying that the country is facing difficult times.corruption,non performance of governments ,economic situation & sagging image of the politicians are some of the problems which every political party has to address. .Nobody has got a magic charm that can solve all the problems at one go.Every body agrees that coalition governments are the order of the day &none will get majority on its own then why not a National government at the center be mooted .Every political party can join the government as per the ratio of the seats won by them.We will have a government sharing all spectrum of polity.When every legislation is discussed & finalized at the standing committee of parliament so as to become an Act then why not give governance a chance.At least we will fin a situation where blame game gets eliminated.But one thing is sure every political party if it wants to serve the nation honestly then it will have to work on a common agenda for governance & see what is good & what is bad for the country.Last but not the least political parties will have to shed their egos for the government to run.Some major decisions can be taken by the government by inviting public opinion so that they also have a say in the governance.

Firstly I appeal to all sections of society to read into the sinister desires of anti national forces & remain calm,in fact help the administration in bringing peace & normalcy by informing them if they come to know of any sinister designs.Governments must find the root cause of the problem & address it without caring for their vote banks & why are our Muslim brotherns demonstrating in every part of India against Assam violence??Thus falling prey to antisocial & even some anti national elements perhaps from an enemy country & making the situation tense &difficult for the administration.This nonsense must end.Let us all live in harmony,peace & contribute towards making strong & prosperous India.

After reprimanding our very own Yuvraj Rahul Gandhiji for the roadshow,congress is trying to scuttle the powers of election commission.By & large EC has been very consistent in its approach towards implementing moral code of conduct,but its also true that there are about 7.5 lakh cases of violation this time.i think that it would be a good idea to form special courts in every district which goes to poll or may be some bench be earmarked for this purpose which shall function from the date of announcement of elections till the results are declared.These courts should be directed to pronounce judgement within 7 days of filling of case.The explanations can be received by E-Mails or hearing be done by video conferencing to avoid delays..Rendering the election commission toothless by the politicians & especially the congress will be very bad for the functioning of democracy & every citizen of this country should opposes this tooth & nail so that the nefarious designs of the politicians are not fulfilled.Maybe political activists,media & even our honorable President should intervene & see that the good work carried on by Election commission does not go in vain.

Every Day on Television I hear debates on one issue or the other & sadly when politicians find no answers to the query they shift the blame on other political dissension.I am deeply pained & my heart weeps for the people of India.If NDA or BJP has done little on corruption cases does it give license to UPA or rather Congress to do wrong & fool this poor country.Agreed BJP has lot to do in Karnataka or even other cases like Bofors or Kargil coffin case or its National President caught on camera accepting bribes but Congress has been ruling India for more than 5 decades will have to do a little more to hold their credibilty.Frustration is growing in this country but still silly excuses are being given every day on sensitive cases like Swiss money trail, CWG scam,Adarsh Society scam, appointment of CVC ..... the list simlpy continues.Wake MR Manmohan Singhji ? What is the harm in appointing a JPC on 2-G spectrum case? Please refer all cases of National importance to a larger Bench of 11 Judges of Supreme Court & ask it to pronounce its judgment in a limited time frame of 6-8 months.

I think it is high time people of this country need an answer & no politician should teach moralities to another as their credibility is extremely low & I am afraid this is not good for the future of Democracy in this country.This government must take all sections of the polity into confidence & relieve the sufferings of its citizens.I think corruption cases,High Price rise of food items & confidence of its citizens in its government are 3 key areas which require consensus to be build amongst all sections of polity.Time is running short.Is anybody listening........

Country weeps over massive price rise of essential commodities especially food items while the blame game by this government in particular & all political parties in general continues.Every other day a new story goes round shifting the onus on price rise,the latest victim being the honourable citizens of this country or rather the Am Admi who is really feeling the brunt nearly 37% below poverty line & another estimated 45% moving towards below poverty line.Cabinet met for 2 days at length but no solution was forthcoming & now they say that increased income & failure of the state governments to curb hoarders is the cause.The other day Congress Yuvraj Rahul Gandhi said that cooliation government is responsible for price rise.Strange are there ways of handling the situation when the whole nation is crying.We need not just statistics & blame games but real action.Tough action should be taken against hoarders & huge stocks shoukd be released in the market.apart from that MRP of food items should be fixed,role of middle men should be brought to a minimum & yes a political will to bring down the prices is very much required.

Immediately a meeting of all chief ministers should be convened & their support should be solicited to relieve the public from this trauma.Act now & tough against corrupt people & monitor the prices.Invite people to send sms if they find traders not adhering to suggested MRP's.When will our PM remove the most non performing minister of his cabinet Mr.Sharad Pawar & if he is so indispensable then make him minister for cricketing affairs instead of Agriculture .I am sure half the problem will be solved immediately.

Recently all the public as well as private sector banks are increasing interest rates on deposits as well as lending rates.I fail to understand the logic.While its true that most of the Banks are facing cash crunch & as a short term measure to attract the investor & public, interest on deposits is being increased bringing in much needed cash.On paper it could be a good ploy as every investor's prime concern is security.A win -win situation for everybody-Banks & investor.Banks are increasing there lending rates also which is but natural due to there rising cost of money on account of higher interest on funds mobilization.The plea is to curb inflationary trends in the economy & also price rise.This will where the problem will come as prices of all commodities will increase as the cost of money of the manufacturer & the trader will rise which in turn will be passed on to the consumer.Also to maintain there bottom lines price rise will be inevitable.The real concern on price rise is food prices which is badly affecting the public & government must know that no body is taking loans for meeting fooding expenses.So the contention of Government?RBI & Banks does not hold true.I am sure that increased lending rates will push up the prices of non-food items also to a great extent.Due to higher cost of money our domestic industry will be unable to compete in the International as well domestic markets.No doubt as a short term measure Banks could increase interest rates on deposits to bring in cash but refrain from increasing lending rates.Can increase lending rates on Cars,Beaverages like cola & alcohol & also loans extended to non priority sectors like 5 star hotels,luxury items etc..Banks can launch global deposit schemes in the foreign market to tap NRI funds.If the Banks don't think on such measures I am afraid our growth projections of 9% or so will be a distant dream.Surely we are inviting trouble in near future.God help us. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee says that government shall ensure to find the black money of Indians stashed in Swiss Banks & other Tax havens.May I remind him that a UN resolution on corruption needs to be ratified by the Parliament is gathering dust for the last 5-6 years.Perhaps to my knowledge this is the most corrupt government we had since Independence.Pranabda is not at all serious about fitting corruption as one scam after another is being unearthed everyday & he conveniently shifts the blame on previous NDA government.As if they did some wrong so the get a licence do indulge in corruption.

If really this government is anything serious in fitting corruption they should first ratify the UN resolution on corruption,bring a comprehensive legislation & what ever legal act is required to bring back the black money from swiss & other Banks.Appoint a statutory body with sweeping powers to do the job & last but not the least take stringent action against corrupt by establishing fast track/special courts & also empowering CVC,CAG &PAC with more teeth by giving them judicial powers.Appointment to such bodies must be made from amongst persons having a clean image.

I doubt because most of this black money supposedly 280 lakh crores required so that all eligible voters cast their votes making it 100% . unfortunately belongs to politicians & higher ups & may be bureaucrats who are responsible for making these laws.One more thing a small amendment to the people's representation Act is

Common Wealth Games are over and now the war of words has started over allegations & counter allegations over charges of corruption .Every body is hurling allegations of looting public money so as to prove a point 'Meri Kameej Teri Kameej se safed hai'.But fact of the matter is every politician & bureaucrat worth the name is prepared to loot the exchequer whenever he gets a chance or rather they create such opportunity.

I am astonished that in 2003 during Vajpayeeji's regime a budget for CWG was prepared for around 400 crores.Come 2009 the Budget escalates to 13000 and finally when the games end a staggering amount of roughly 70000 crores is spent.My goodness what was our worthy Finance Minister and our great Prime Minister doing? where they sleeping.How can you overshoot your budgetted amount by nearly 5times from your estimates given barely an year ago?This is clearly negligence on the part of Government & now they are passing the buck on Kalmadi,his OC and even some non-entities.PM owes an explanation to his countrymen that why & under what circumstances he allowed hard earned public money to be wasted on CWG when 37% population is living below poverty line & another 30-40% bearly able to meet their living.

This money could well have been pumped into meaningful poverty elevation program me & rather selling food grains through the PDS at exceptionally subsidized prices to bring down the spiraling prices of essential commodities.Congress would have earned lots of accolades & blessings from the poor.To cover up their misdeeds they are using CBI as a which hunting agency.I also fail to understand what BJP was doing when CWG loot was on.They have got no right to accuse the government now just to score some brawny points.The probe by various agencies will be unfruitful as in the past as it lacks conviction and is a mere cover up .Bofors,HDW deal & the fodder scam are still fresh in our minds.

Supreme Court of India has rightly recommended the Central government to distribute free food grains to below poverty line families.But it is strange that our honorable Prime Minister has reacted in such strong & strange manner.I feel that a good advise & specially from Supreme Court should be welcome & implemented.PM's comment that it is impossible to distribute free food grains because 37% population is living below poverty line.This surely speaks of arrogance & a sense of ingratitude towards power citizens whose cause they espouse & seek votes,I fail to understand that this very government can handle Public Distribution System,MNREGA & Mid Day Meal scheme then why not this scheme also.After all they are not spending any thing from their coffers,it is the surplus foodgrain which they are unable to store is to be distributed & BPL families are already identified.Why not use the PDS system to implement this scheme.Certainly this will fetch them lot of votes & so also the blessings of the poor which the UPA government so badly needs.While the poor farmers are agitating & committing suicides,quality of life of citizens is deteriorating day by day,the government perhaps is turning a blind eye.Honorable Food minister Sharad Pawar is busy with cricket & ICC God knows what is in store for us.........

The massive Bandh organised by opposition parties against price rise on 5th July 2010 is a wakeup call for the government.They better pull up their socks and do something to at least bring down the rising food prices - a common man's worry.There could be some long term and short term measures to be taken.Our government headed by a renowned economist perhaps has better ideas but its worth listening to a man on the streets who maybe does not know the ABC of economics but his suggestion could well be worth trying or at least heard.

1) Immediately stop future trading in food items.

2) Send advisory to all state governments to bring down VAT on petroleum products from peak 33% to to flat 15%(Aviation fuel to be left untouched).If the states If the states don't fall in line ,stop all their funds disbursement from the centre.

3)Build ware houses/cold storages on a war footing to store food items to save them from rotting.

4) Allow free movement of food grains & pulses etc across the length & breath of country.Monitor supply & demand position .Form a price regulatory authority for food food items 7 also form citizens committee at every District or Vidhan Sabha level to get feedback on prices.Deal with a heavy hand on hoarders & profiters.

5)Provide actual food subsidies where ever required,irrespective of WTO commitments.Subsidies should be in real terms & remunerative prices to farmers should also be provided.

6)To finance these measures increase prices of aviation fuel.increase duties & other levies heavily on liquor,bhang,cigerettes,gutka & pan masala .

7)Increase fare of AC-1,AC-II & AC-III by Rs200/,Rs100 & Rs50/ respectively.Also increase sleeper charges by Rs 10/ & 15% increase in fares of Rajdhani & Shatabdi Trains.

8) Foreign Travel Tax on persons travelling on Tourist Visa should be increased.

9)Collect Rs 10000/ per annum as cess on all owners of Luxury vehicles.Also increase custom & excise duty on such vehicles at least by 10-15%.Luxury vehicles can be defined as one costing more than Rs 5 lakh.

10) Organisations running Charitable Trusts for imparting higher education & Nursing Homes operating in the guise of Research Centres should also be brought under the purview of Income Tax Act.Monitoring such organisations is very necessary.

11) High priced mobile phones,apparels & luxury items should be taxed at a higher rate.

12) Security Transaction tax can be reintroduced.

13) MNREGA &Rural Health Insurance scheme are a drain on economy,so is the mid day meal scheme.They should be scraped as early as possible.These schemes are also a hot spot of corruption.

14)Politicians from all parties should discuss these and other measures to bring relief to the amadmi instead of organizing Bandhs or playing the blame game.If present strategy is not working why not try some suggestions put forward by oppositions parties & the Independent voice.If any of the measures give the desired result let the government alone take the credit.At least I shall be very happy.

And Last but not the least government expenditure specially unproductive one should be curtailed.
