At the moment, the Kempten designers indeed are working on the perfect body parts for the convertible AS3 at full speed, but already now it becomes apparent that the compact vehicle will become a feast for the eyes.

The performance data of the engine versions stand for open-air driving pleasure: with ABT Power the 2.0 TFSI offers sporty 240hp (177kW) instead of 200hp (147kW); with ABT Power S 270hp (199kW) are provided. With ABT Power the serial 160hp (118kW) of the 1.8 TFSI can be increased to 200hp (147kW), or to 240hp (177kW) with ABT Power S.

What the famous car tuner from the Allgäu understands of a real sun-worshipping convertible already show the ABT Eos and the ABT TT Roadster: for the Volkswagen convertible as well as for the open version of the successful model from Ingolstadt, the ABT team developed body styling parts which accentuate the character of each vehicle and which let them appear even more distinctive from every perspective: the low front spoiler, the side skirts and the rear skirt inset with the typical 4-pipe rear muffler emphasize the sporty ambitions of the fancy ABT Eos and give it a self-confident appearance.

Even more so with the BR wheel which seems to have the urge to move forward, even when standing still. It goes without saying that this wheel also fits the TT Roadster like a glove because this n turns the open-roof TT into a real athlete which looks like a 100-meter sprinter ready to start: the front skirt, the lateral body parts, the rear skirt inset and the rear wing are forming a successful unit, in every respect. With this modifications, the sports car does not only cut a good figure on country roads and motor-ways but also on the boulevard.

Either closed or opened, a real ABT does not only look fast, it is in fact fast. This ensure the diverse ABT POWER packages for the Eos and the TT Roadster which actually satisfy performance hunger: with ABT POWER, the 2.0 TFSI engine is increased from serial 200hp (147kW) to 240hp (177kW). With ABT POWER S even 270hp (199kW) or remarkable 300hp (221kW) are provided. The sportiest version ABT offers is for the 6-cylinder engine with 3.2 liter cubic capacity: ABT POWER R stands for optimization of the motor management and for compressor conversion with water cooled intercooler. In figures this means a proud power increase of 120hp (88kW). 370 authentic horsepower (272kW) are offered with ABT POWER R. Also the 2.0 liter diesel engine in the Eos becomes sportier: the serial 140hp (103kW) can be increased to powerful 170hp (125kW). ABT Sportsline, of course, also offers perfectly adjusted suspension components and brakes for the fast convertibles. This enables the ABT Eos and the ABT TT Roadster to cope with every situation and to offer pure driving pleasure. These positive characteristics are exactly what also the new ABT AS3 Cabrio will offer - and hence will continue the success story of the open sports cars from the Allgäu…

From the nondescript to the absolute head-turner, RDX RACEDESIGN from Allersberg, Germany, gives the VW Fox a complete make-over. For this somewhat conservative compact car, the German tuning specialist is offering a sporty outfit that transforms the Fox beyond all recognition.

At the front, the RDX RACEDESIGN “GTI-Five” front spoiler apron (€ 299) makes the Fox look a little like the Golf GTI. Integrated into the bumper is a grille, which has no need for a brand emblem. The daytime running lights from the latest Audi S6 can also be fitted in the front.
The Fox acquires “muscly” sides by fitting the RDX RACEDESIGN set of side sills (€ 129.95). To create an overall harmonious appearance, RDX RACEDESIGN also of course supplies a matching diffuser-style rear apron (€ 255), which guarantees that the Fox also cuts a fine figure from behind. The rear bumper is supplied without tailpipe cut outs. Drivers can cut out the openings themselves to suit their own particular type of exhaust system.

The complete set of components is available for an all-in price of € 615.56. A saving of around € 70! What is more, the front and rear are suitable for spraying in two colours thanks to the paint edges produced by the design.

All RDX RACEDESIGN components are renowned for ensuring a perfect fit, being easy to paint and, as you might expect, are TÜV certified and approved.

Further information on the extensive RDX RACEDESIGN tuning range is available by calling the number +49 (0)9176/ 99 55 90 or online at www.rdx-racedesign.de.

Forge presented recently the all new Golf 2.0 L FSIT “TWINtercooler” this ground breaking innovation features our unique twin-core design which has added greater efficiency throughout the entire RPM band beyond that of a single core setup.

Forge Motorsport achieved this by using the latest core technology with high flow end tank designs to achieve a huge reduction in inlet temperatures.

Forge spent many months testing various designs and the Twintercooler design emerging as the clear winner. This is a bolt-on kit that retains the use of the OEM intercooler to produce both horsepower and torque, but more importantly, a huge reduction in inlet temperatures and increased flow efficiency.
A reduction in temps of up to a peak of 20 degrees Fahrenheit from 102 to 82 at 6600 RPM!

Forged also publish some power, torque and air tempo of the FMIC vs stock intercooler here.

While the horsepower figures themselves are impressive enough, this will undoubtedly vary from car to car under various circumstances, but such a large reduction in inlet temps. is difficult to achieve. Once again Forge did a product that truly is Engineered for performance.

At least, according to German tuning house Hofele who designed this package for both the pre-facelift and facelifted Touareg.

They fabricated for the Touareg a new body kit consisting of a new front bumper, new rear apron with trapezoidal tailpipes, sides skirts, roof spoiler and removable under ride protection.

This particular package may not include a power boost but it does come with a new ‘Power Dome’ hood scoop and the car rides on 22 inch Reverso 22 (295/30 R22) wheels. Either a sport springs or ETS module for the air suspension lowers the car by 40mm.

For ambitious drivers, ABT is synonymous with sportiness suited for everyday use – also in the up-and-coming country in Central Europe.

There, they will from now on be offered even better and more intensive services: in Hungary’s second largest city Debrecen, gateway to the Puszta, the new ABT Sportsline Showroom opened its doors on 7. June. Now, the Hungarian fortunes of the world’s leading tuner of cars from the Volkswagen group will be guided from this extravagant location.

In Béla Király, ABT Sportsline has a partner on site, who implements the high standards of the Allgäu high-tech company with his experience, know how, accuracy and well-trained team. In Debrecen, drivers of ABT vehicles are offered competent services. In addition to wheel rims and other accessories, complete cars will always be on display in the showroom. When the showroom opened on 7. June, eight ABT models awaited the interested audience. The longestablished family-run company continues to count on growth – for example with a new, strong presence in Hungary.

Not to mention that they look cool, too!

However, anybody who has installed any of the popular “generic” pedal covers in their VW can tell you that it is not an easy task. The VW factory pedals present all sorts of challenges when installing covers, from the large hole in the middle of the brake pedal, to the shape and thickness of the accelerator pedal.

Besides the install issues, few of these generic cover sets have the look that quite matches the sophisticated and serious interiors of the VW and Audi models. What might look right in a Honda just doesn’t cut it for most VW drivers.

So ESE tuning has available a set with a clean sheet of paper. Key features that sets ESSE Tuning Sport Pedal Covers apart from the rest:
- Pre-installed rubber nubs for grip with wet shoes
- Hard anodized finish for long appearance life
- Stainless steel hardware, included installation wrench
- Radiused corners on clutch and brake pedals for shoe clearance
- Larger than stock accelerator pedal “bump out” for easier heel and toe driving

Available for both 6 speed and DSG cars, in silver or gunmetal anodizing. Includes deadpedal. You can also buy other pedals at great prices on the vw store
