The smallest VW model becomes even sportier with the optional Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Springs. The slightly lowered centre of gravity proves its worth both on tight city streets and winding country roads and makes the up! a dynamic little speedster.

Despite its compact size, the VW up! appears extremely self-confident, which is highlighted by the
Eibach Pro-Spacer Wheel Spacer. They ensure better handling and are made of aluminum.

All Eibach suspension components, which are available through authorised dealers, are provided with a high-quality corrosion protection and are TÜV-certified.

With the many special touches that have been made to other Audi, Porsche, Seat, and Volkswagen vehicles, the auto finisher JE DESIGN, has customized the chassis adjustment of the VW Beetle, in order to further underline the compromise between comfort and dynamism that was made in the factory. By installing suspension springs with a progressive characteristic, and a sporty spring constant, side tilting is significantly reduced, in comparison with the series model. The drive dynamics, directional stability, and steering precision of the "great-grandson Beetle", could also be improved with the JE Design spring kit, that is available for 219 euros in Germany. Despite the lower suspension settings (circa 30-35 millimeters), the series model shock absorber can continue to be used.

The exclusive black "Tornado" Volkswagen, a select alloy multi spoke wheel set, is available from JE DESIGN in 8 x 19 inches. Like the optimal VW rims, the one piece wheels can be mounted with the 235/40 R 19 factory tires. Even sportier is the 16 inch spokes rim design with 235/35/ R 19 tires. All together the rims are available in four different surface finishings: black mat spokes and mat silver rim flange, graphite mat silver spokes and mat silver rim flange, shadow silver, and as was shown in the press picture, black shiny spokes and a shiny silver rim flange. The JE DESIGN multi spoke complete wheel set is available starting at 2,810 euros.

For all designs of the VW Beetle, there is also an attractive JE DESIGN rear apron insert, with a diffuser, and a centered air duct, available for 476 euros, Of course, the high quality aerodynamic components come like, all other components from JE DESIGN, with a technical inspection report (TÜV). The steel muffler that was developed for the VW Beetle, with a round 90 millimeter large twin tailpipe as a four pipe design, can be used with all gasoline and diesel motors. The 952 euro exhaust pipe even has an EEC approval, and the car documents do not need to be carried in the vehicle.

The JE DESIGN performance increases, created exclusively for the VW Beetle Sport, with the VW Golf GTI's well know 2.0 TFSI, with 147 kW (200 HP), can of course be registered in your vehicle papers. The additional control unit can be installed in every motor vehicle specialist workshop, and increases the motor performance to 176 kW (240 HP). The maximum torque is increased from 280 newton meters to 310 newton meters. In 6.9 seconds (series: 7.5 seconds) the VW Beetle Sport sprints from a stop, to a speed of 100. The vehicles highest speed is 230 km/h (series: 223 km/h). A technical inspection report (TÜV) and assembly instructions are included, and the JE DESIGN additional control panel is offered for 1,280 euros. After the performance increase, the VW Beetle 2.0 TFSI still fulfills the legal exhaust gas requirements, avoids difficulties with the AU, and can be included in the vehicle's documents without problems.

Particularly for the VW Golf V, which is very popular in the used-cars market, there are some very attractive offers. At the Essen Motor Show, WEITEC's stand will feature a modified VW Golf V with the latest HICON GT Coilover Suspension and 8.5x20-inch Dolce wheels. The complete suspension, with adjustable spring perches, race spring system, and rubber stops with dust protection, allows stepless adjustment in the TÜV-tested adjustment range from 35 to 65 millimeters on both axles.

The WEITEC HICON GT Coilover Suspension promises a long service life thanks to high-quality components and galvanized coilover struts with an additional seal for optimum corrosion protection. The suggested retail price for the height-adjustable suspension is 749 euros.

Thanks to being modelled directly from the OEM hoses, these new precision engineered parts are an easy and direct replacement for the factory items, yet offer significantly greater ability to withstand much higher boost pressures and temperatures. Ideal on a standard car, but absolutely essential on a tuned, track or modified example! Allied to this, their superior woven fabric reinforcement means that they will last an awful lot longer than the factory ever intended, too.

Three dynamic colourways are available. Choose black for understated elegance, or blue or red for trackside or show arena presence.

The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which allows the driver to play with 203 hp and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) when it leaves the factory, has received five stages of power boosting: 240 hp, 250 hp, 265 hp, 295 hp and 320 hp & 420 Nm (310 lb-ft).

Stage 5 consists of a B&B turbocharger, an intercooler system, a complete sports exhaust and an ECU remap. Fitted with this pack, the Bug can play the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) game in 5.6 seconds and offers a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

B&B also played with the 1.4TSI unit, which comes with a stock output of 160 hp, increasing output to 210 hp & 285 Nm (136 lb-ft) or 225 hp & 310 Nm (228 lb-ft) via an ECU remap, or to 240 hp & 340 Nm (251 lb-ft) using a tweaked turbo, a sports exhaust system and a new air intake.

The tech story goes on with the addition of a set of 19- or 20-inch rims, as well as a beefier braking system that brings massive stopping power.

Eibach further refines the handling of the VW Beetle with its Pro-Kit Performance Springs. Thanks to the lowered centre of gravity, the car gets an even more distinctive look. The Eibach Pro-Spacer Wheel Spacer can add an extra dimension to the appearance of the Beetle.

The Anti-Roll-Kit Performance Sway Bars provide additional fine tuning for the suspension system: they reduce body roll, which particularly is an advantage when driving fast through curves and makes the new Beetle a really dynamic car.
