Veterans Day Ceremony at Country Meadows in Wyomissing

Veterans were honored this morning in Berks County at Country Meadows in Wyomissing, during the Veterans Day Commemoration Service. About 50 World War Two Veterans live at Country Meadows. The Wilson High School Junior ROTC participated in the breakfast event, and Dr. Charles Kupfer was the guest speaker.

Council Comes Up With Final Number of Cuts From Budget

The Reading City Council is digging for dollars and trying to calculate all the money available to save police and fire positions. City Council met again Tuesday night to discuss the Mayor's proposed budget, which originally set out to cut 22 firefighters and 26 police officers. WFMZ's Pam Cunningham has the details.

Mastermind Behind DC Area Sniper Attacks Executed

The mastermind behind the 2002 D.C. area sniper attacks has been put to death. John Allen Muhammad died by lethal injection at a Virginia prison Tuesday night. His execution came after he exhausted all of his court appeals and after the governor of Virginia denied his request for clemency.
