Officials say the fire started just after noon at Ryerss Farm, located along Route 23 in South Coventry and Warwick Townships. The farm is a retirement home of sorts, caring for older and abused horses. Fortunately, none of the horses were hurt in the fire. A local fire chief said the barn, which dates back to the 1800s, was completely destroyed. No word on what caused the fire.
