While it didn't happen, ya can't fault Bubba for using his celebrity cache to make the attempt.
Both The Daily Mail in U.K. and Rolling Stone magazine posted reports today that are ciruclating widely on the web and social media.
My two cents? If Bill could not convince them to do it for such a huge cause, it is likely that we shall not see it again.

ACCESS SPORTS 4TH ANNUAL WIFFLEBALL CLASSIC SET FOR SEPTEMBER 7TH!!!

The date has been set for fun and games to benefit Access Sports!

A ticket, if you could get one, was only $20. The attraction? Only the world's greatest rock n' roll band!
700 lucky souls got to be the guinea pigs for the Rolling Stones, who are set to kick off their (presumably) final run on Friday at The Staples Center there. With rehearsal scuttlebutt flying all last week, while the boys holed up in Burbank, the show wasn't a shocker, but as always, they kept it under wraps until Saturday, when the fun and games began.
Just an hour’s notice was given that tickets were on sale for the gig at Echoplex in the city’s Echo Park area. They were priced just $20 and offered on a lottery basis, with lucky buyers asked to put on a wristband and have a photo taken for ...

CINNAMINSON COMMUNITY CHORUS' "IMAGINE SPRING" CONCERT ON 5/3!!!

Cinnaminson Community Chorus

SURVIVOR'S FUND BY GOLFING AT "THE VINCE"!!!

It's time to gather your foursome (or yourself) for the 5th Annual Vince Kelly Memorial Golf Tournament which benefits the Survivor's Fund of the Philadelphia F.O.P. As always, it happens at Philmont Country Club on the first Monday of August. This year, that's the 5th, with a rain date set for 8/19.
The survivor's Fund helps families of fallen Philadelphia Police officers, which is always needs community support. Here's a fun way to get out and play and do good for local law enforcement families. I'm working on my group. Hope to see you there!

My buddy Oscar told me about this charity golf event which is happening on April 29th at Kimberton Golf Club in Phoenixville to benefit Autism Speaks! You can get details and registration info thru this link from the sponsor, Old Philadelphia Public House.

It seems that we all are touched by Autism these days, in some way. And Autism Speaks does good work in this area!
