STAR DATE: Its been three months since I last blogged! Wow! I can't hardly believe it. I've been so busy. I dedicated this blog to all the Dreamers in this world and to all the people who will not allow fear to keep them frozen. We all know that time is an illusion and unfortunately we believe that we will always have the time to start living our dreams but the harsh reality is that we don't have a lot of time.

But the beauty of this realization is that we have today and today you can decide to go for it! Today you can take a tiny step in the direction of whatever burning desire you have inside of you. It is your life so live it!

Don't let fear have a gravitational pull on your Dreams and hold you down. You have the power to create your life and your destiny. You have the power to choose your reality.

Never give up on yourself or your Dreams.

IDLE TIME IS THE ENEMY OF YOUR DREAMS!

Good Saturday morning to you DreamKeepers! I am certain that everyone is following their heart and following their dreams. "Once a dream is born, it can never die". I love this saying, to me it means that once a fire is ignited in your heart and soul it can never flicker out. The only way that it can flicker out and disappear is if you let doubt set in. So I say to you, NEVER let doubt cross your mind. Always believe that it is possible and take the necessary steps towards attaining that dream of yours.

Idle time is very dangerous. Every minute you spend doing nothing toward your dreams is precious time that you are taking away from perfecting your craft or dream. Make every day count, do a small task toward moving a step closer to what you say you want. If you are having doubts about whether or not you will make it and be successful then just go research other people that are doing what you want to do. Everyone starts from point A to get anywhere they want to go. I have yet to see anyone skip a few steps and start from point K. It takes time to see real progress but you just have to hang in there and see it through.

I always compare my particular situation and anyone who follows their dreams to a music artist's career. Sometimes an artist may put out three or four CD/Albums and they are unknown, well to the mainstream anyway. Usually they are on their grind going from gig to gig not getting paid very much and their records ceratinly are not on billboard's top 100. But they don't let that stop them, they still persist. One day out the blue (it seems) they put out a song and it gets into the right hands at the right time (fate + belief) and they reach the mainstream and "blow up" so to speak and become mega stars. The audiences think that the artist just came out but what they don't know is the many years that the artist has toiled and perfected his craft. The artist has paid his dues, so to speak, and is now ready for fame and fortune. Okay, I said all of that to say that it may take a couple of years for people to catch up to you but you must actively be pursuing your dreams for fate to reach you. If you are idle sitting on the couch your dream is not going to make itself come true, it needs your help to bring it into reality!

THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOMES POSSIBLE!

Happy 4th of July! I can't believe that summer is here, the year is speeding by so fast. Its been a long time since my last blog post but I am happy to say it is because I am actively pursuing my dreams. I really can't say that it is a dream anymore because it is not. It is real, it is tangible, it is reality! So instead of saying that I am chasing my dreams let me just say that I am living my reality. I have turned my ideas of fashion and creativity into reality! My tee line is up and running. I have a website. I have business cards. I attend different fashion & networking events and promote Just Vain Designs. I started off with my tees but i am currently working on tops & dresses, they are gonna be chic & funky! I have to say that it is truly exhilirating to have an idea in your head become a tangible thing. It is exciting!

When you believe in yourself the "impossible" becomes "possible"! If you look at the word "impossible" it can be changed to "i'm possible", meaning that you believe in your abilities and capabilities. So let's turn a negative into a positive. I believe that every single one of us are capable of great things! It is just a matter of having the gumption and the courage to do so. There will be doubters and people who will say that you won't "make it" but guess what, you will become a success by default just by taking one step towards doing that which you love to do and by proving to yourself and others that you have the courage and the conviction of following through. Creativity is the key ingredient in the recipe of Success. As long as you keep creating whether or not other people catch on to your creation, you are way ahead of the pack. Eventually, the world will catch up to you! So keep going and never give up, turn the impossible to the possible!

Great Saturday morning DreamWarriors! Yes it has been a while since I've last blogged. Just want to give an update on my progress with my dream of starting my clothing line. Well the website is up and running! The site is www.justvaindesigns.com/store. I am so excited and humbled at the same time!

I just want to reiterate the fact that I have stated from the time I began this blog. If you have a dream in your heart, pursue it. A dream is a burning desire in your soul seeking to be manifested. You owe it to yourself to bring that desire into reality. If you don't I believe that you will never find true bliss and true happiness within yourself because you'll always have that feeling of regret for not seeking to fulfill that which was in your heart.

I want you all to know that we are not here in this existence to merely pay bills and work a 9 to 5. We are here to find our destiny and most likely our destiny is whatever we have a burning desire and passion for. I do have a 9 to 5 and that is my work, but designing clothes and using my god-given creativity is my life. To create an idea and then to be able to bring it into a physical manifestation is absolute genius to me. We are creative beings and we should honor the Creator by using the talents and gifts that he bestowed upon us.

So get busy following those dreams!

Hey DreamKeepers! It's been a minute, I've been extremely busy. I am actively pursuing my dreams of becoming a clothing designer so I have to actually take time out to design. But I still want to take some time out to keep encouraging others to go for their dreams as well. It has been exhilirating for me going to the fabric stores and picking out different fabric and trimmings. I absolutely love this process. I am like a kid in a candy store. I am learning so much new stuff when it comes to creating an article of clothing. It is so much fun. I get excited just thinking about it. I am currently working on my line and I already have tees printed but will put them up on my up and coming website soon. I am just so happy to be doing what I love to do which is to create fashion.

Don't give up on your dreams, even when it seems impossible, always take a step toward your dreams. Believe in yourself, you are a success just by having the courage to attempt to live your dreams.

Hello Dream Warriors, I pray that all is well in your life. If you want to "win" in life and win big you must dream, plan then achieve. In order to achieve a dream your mind must conceive it. I know you have heard this phrase plenty of times before. You must hold the vision of yourself succeeding before you succeed. There are many reasons why people can't envision themselves achieving greatness. One of the reasons is that they have lost their way, they have become cynical and believe that great things happen to other people and not to them. Maybe they tried to succeed at one point and then failed and let that one failure scare them from trying again. It happens to the best of us, it may take others longer to re-coup from a failure. Where one person fails and dusts himself off and goes right at it again it may take another person five years to muster up the courage to begin again. I am saying to that person, it is okay. Everyone can't run the same race at the same pace. All marathon runners do not finish the race at the same exact time. Some finish the race in four hours while another person may take ten hours to finish that same race. But guess what they both finish the race! Does it matter who finishes the race first? We all want to be the first one to cross the finish line, but everyone cannot. You are still a winner if you finish the race period.

Go at your own pace, don't worry about the person next to you. They are running their own race (life) and you are running yours. The next step after seeing yourself as a winner is to plan, meaning write everything down. This was my one of my biggest problem for years, I didn't plan things. I am somewhat of a free spirit and like to "be spontaneous" but sometimes when you are a spontaneous person things are out of your control because you didn't plan for them, so please plan.

After planning you have nothing left to do but achieve. Little victories are just as good as bigger ones. Actually you get the bigger victories only after you have accumulated a lot of small victories. This was also a problem for me, I thought I had to have big sweeping victories in order to be successful at life. I thought the little victories meant nothing next to the bigger ones. So you see we live and we learn, now I'm doing and seeing things the correct way and I am feeling more and more satisfaction in my little victories. Weekly I write a goal list for the things that I plan to achieve (little victories) e.g. contacting a person that can help me with my business, research, calls. Once I do those things and I am successful at them I cross them off my list and pat myself on the back. I give myself credit for not procrastinating that day and for keeping my word on when I would get the tasks done. Remember to dream, plan and achieve in that exact order and give yourself props for the little victories which will eventually lead to big victories!

When you lift others, you lift yourself!

Hello DreamWarriors,

I pray that everyone is well and is well on their way to living their dreams. Sometimes your blessings will come in the form of helping others. You'll never know the tremendous impact you may make on someone's life by doing a good deed or by offering words of encouragement. By lifting other people's spirits you essentially lift your own. You might offer encouraging words to someone who may be on the brink of disaster or even the verge of suicide, hey you never know. You have no idea what people are dealing with in their daily lives. Your positive words or positive attitude may be the action that saves that person life.

So many people are looking for support outside of their family because frankly some families are disfunctional and may not be supportive. Everyone needs a "pep talk" every now and then. People want and need to know that they are important and that they matter, so by offering encouragement and support you are doing just that, you are letting them know that they do matter. So please if there is anyone you know who needs a "pep talk" or even someone you may not know that well, by all means offer them words of wisdom or just let them know that you believe in what they are trying to accomplish. I promise you that their face will brighten and you will see a renewed person right in front of your eyes.

LEAN FORWARD

Hello DreamWarriors,

Wow today is December 31, 2010! The last day of the year, wow I can hardly believe it! I was busy getting ready for the count down to the New Year and I said "wait a minute, let me blog for the last time this year lol. Tonight ends a decade and tomorrow begins a new one, that is awesome if you think about it. Well I am still on the path of my dreams, the majority of my book is finished. I am basically looking to have it professionally edited and fined tuned, oh and also I am looking for a publishing company to publish it. It's going to be hard work, but I am up for the challenge. Also, I am looking to get my line of apparel started. I am researching and contacting manufacturing companies. It is just a matter of time before everything comes together for me. I am also motivating and inspiring my Dreamwarriors, that in and of itself is my biggest accomplishment. I love believing in people and their capabilities. I love seeing the best in them even if they don't or won't!

I love CNBC's motto "Lean Forward". I think that we should always look forward towards the possibilities rather than looking back at unfulfilled desires. There will always be another chance to "Make it Happen". So good-bye 2010, you were good to me and I know that 2011 will be even better. Get Ready to Receive It!

Hello DreamWarriors,

It is an awesome day to be alive! You should feel like this everyday. I know sometimes it's hard to feel excited and happy all the time, but don't let the daily routine of life deter you from your greater purpose. I know that the job, the kids, the bills, the spouse, the politicians, the friends, the co-workers, the boss can all work your nerves. But guess what, to get rid of stress you have to release it and view your life situation positively. At times we all get frustrated and tire of the merry-go-round we call our lives but the moment that you start to dwell on struggle and strife and complaining about what you don't like, is the very moment that you will receive more of it. Remember this phrase "If you blame, you'll get more of the same!", you do not want more of the same of that which you do not want, so guess what, let it go and let God take over.

You have to elevate your thoughts from your present experience to what greatness God will be sending your way. If you don't have the career you want, change careers. If you want a home, go buy it. If you have a dream, go live it. Go do the very thing that you want to do. You don't have to take giant leaping steps, take small baby steps but by all means work towards that which you want. This will make you truly happy and will keep a smile on your face knowing what "is" to come! Live your life with faith and purpose and you'll have an armor of good will and only good will come to you. In order to have good will and fortune you must be ready to receive it and you can only recieve blessings if your thoughts and actions are in sync. So live your life with zest and with a dream in your heart and with the knowledge that you are and/or will be living the life of your dreams, if you do this you will have true bliss.

No Time To Procrastinate, We Must Create!

Hello DreamWarriors,

I hope everyone is moving closer and closer to their dreams. You can definitely do this by believing in yourself and believing that you have a higher purpose in life besides your day to day work grind. I am moving closer and closer to my dreams and I can actually feel the warm glow of my dreams within me and I know that I am near because I can see the shining light. I am very excited these days because I hold my dreams close to my heart and I am actually sharing them and getting them out so to speak. I am doings things that I haven't done before and I see a change in myself. I am reaching out to people to help me realize my dreams and that is something I have never done before. Normally I try to do everything by myself, but I now understand that this was just hurting me instead of helping me. I see that God is putting people in my life now that are going to safely help me on my journey. I thank Him so much because I now know that I am ready for this beautiful bestowing.

So keep on to the road to your dreams because if you do, you will not regret it. Don't get complacent, always do something daily towards your purpose. It's no time to procrastinate, we must create!

It is the most wonderful time of the year, in my opinion . I absolutely love Autumn because you get to see fantastic views, such as this gorgeous tree with it's beautiful illuminating red leaves. I was driving down the road on my lunch hour and saw this tree. I had to whip out my phone and take a picture of it because it was absolutely stunning to me. I love nature. I am a nature girl (well woman) at heart. This time of year you can really see God's magnificent creations in all of their glory. It is very inspiring to be surrounded by such beauty. The sky is crystal clear and the clouds are fluffy and bright, I can look at the sky all day. It really inspires me to do more, to be more and to give more of myself as God has given to us . God has given us all of these wonderful sights to admire. You should be inspired 365 days of the year, but if you're not, just take a look at the amazing sights that are in your view everyday and be inspired.

THE DREAM JAR

Hey DreamWarriors! It is a beautiful Saturday morning. The weather is getting cooler, that's a plus. Autumn is definitely here! I absolutely love it. The leaves begin to turn all of those beautiful vibrant colors, like yellow, red, green, orange. I always wanted to travel to Vermont to see the blooming trees, that is the best place to visit this time of year. Who knows maybe one of these weekends I might just jump on the road and make that happen. I'll blog about it if I decide to do so.

I think that everyone should have a dream jar, for those of you who haven't figured out what that is, it's just a jar or piggy bank that you continue to fund until it is the amount of money that will fund your dream journey. If you notice, I didn't say vacation or trip, I like the word journey better because it sounds more like an adventure to me. Adventures are exciting, you get to meet new faces in different places. On a journey there should be no set plans or itineraries, you should just go with the flow.

So start investing in your dream jar and when the amount is right, take that money and do something you've always dreamt of doing or visit somewhere that you've always dreamt of going.

Victory's Within the Mile!

Hey dreamwarriors, I pray that everyone is holding steadfast to their dreams and their purpose's in their lives. Victory's within the mile, almost there, don't give up now! I love when Rihanna sings that hook on "Run This Town" by Jay-Z. It is so true. When you are taking the necessary steps to attain your goals you can at times become burnt out and weary because it can be a bit overwhelming.

But just try to do what you can do everyday, even if it is a small task. You don't want to do alot of things incorrectly, you want to do smaller things properly, this way you are sure to achieve your dreams. At least a couple of times a week I write a few sentences toward my book that I am writing. I have it in the memo pad of my Blackberry so that I can be out and about and still be able to write, just in case a thought, idea or words pop into my head. I have steadily done this for a while and before I know it I will look up and one day my manuscript will be complete. It may take 4-6 months but as long as I keep at it I will see it come to fruition. At times I get frustrated or pre-occupied with everyday life but I will not give up because I know that victory is surely within a mile or so lol! Hold steadfast to your dreams for they will come to life, never give them up!

Desire is a wonderful thing. Desire and Faith go hand in hand. When you Desire a better life or that great job or that nice car you must put Faith into the universe that you will get it. Desire should not be confused with greed, there is nothing wrong with wanting to have a more abundant life. The many things we aquire along the way puts us in a better position to help others and our world. We would not be as far advanced as we are as a society without Desire. Desire is an effort of an unexpressed possibility to come into action (1). In other words, our society is and will continue to advance because of the desires of men/women. For instance, where would technology be if Bill Gates would not have desired to make his software program Microsoft that changed the world. If man would not have desired to fly, would we have airplanes and if we would not have desired to venture out into space, Armstrong would not have walked on the moon. So you see Desire is necessary to our world's evolution. We must keep seeking more and more of it in order to make the most of ourselves which in turn will benefit us all. Great Morning! It is a wonderful day to be alive! Let's get on with living our purpose in this life. I know everyone have not found theirs yet, but, get busy trying to figure out what it is. I've shared what I believe my purpose is, and that is to affect and effect the lives of others in a motivating way, letting others know that they can accomplish whatever they set their minds to. I want to leave a lasting wonderful impression upon others. When I'm speaking to someone and they share a thought, idea or dream with me, I always let them know that they can do it and try to offer some input or possible ideas to help them with it. Sharing your dreams/goals/passion with others takes courage so I will never tell anyone that something is impossible to attain. That's why I named myself the DreamKeeper because I will protect anyone's dreams that they have left in my care vis-a-vis a conversation.

Enthusiasm means to be lively, so everyday we wake up we should be enthusiastic about something. Happiness and joy is formed from enthusiasm. When you are enthusiastic everyday you can't help but smile and be chipper about it. When you smile that radiates positivity and joy and then you become a magnet for happy and joyful events. People will be happier around you because you reflect that upon them. The Law of Attraction definitely applies to our everyday lives. I definitely believe that you are what you think you are and will attract that which you think into your life! So be enthusiastic and think positive happy thoughts!

Better Late Than Never!!!!!

Great Morning, DreamWarriors, it is a great day to be alive! I know I usually begin my posts this way but it is something about waking up in the morning that makes me feel so special. I feel like the Creator has given me another chance to "get it right". What do I mean by "get it right"? I feel like everyone is a work in progress, we are constantly working on ourselves to better ourselves and our world, hopefully. Well by trying to improve yourself on a daily basis in retrospect you are improving the world. I just love the mornings, it's something about seeing the sunrise that has me in awe of this thing that we call life. So let's get busy living it! Life is for the living! Get started now on that dream/passion/goal that you have. You can start today towards it. A lot of people are stuck in dead-end jobs with no hope. When I say stuck in a dead-end job I don't necessarily mean that the job is dead-end financially, you can be making six figures but can absolutely hate your job/career. You might not be happy with it at all. So I say keep the career/job and do what you love either on the weekends or part-time. You must be happy in this life doing things that brings you joy, otherwise what is the point. Who wants to go to a job day in and day out and not do what they love, it is just not right. I'm all for financial security, but if you have always thought about starting your own business, you should definitely give it a try. There are numerous success stories of people who have left a corporate job making oodles of money to go start their own business. I know it is possible. Over the years I have had numerous passions and goals I wanted to pursue, all of them wasn't feasible at the time being that I was working, not to mention a growing family. I simply "thought" that I didn't have the time. I too worked a 9 to 5, but I didn't put my dreams in a box and throw away the key. I am in the midst of writing a book, which I always wanted to do. I have always loved fashion and wanted to design clothes, which may take a bit longer to accomplish, but I'm working towards that too. Also, I am living one of my dreams right now, which is to touch and inspire others. By creating this blog I have motivated and inspired people and that is just wonderful. People have reached out to me and told me that they love my blog and how it touches them and that is a huge accomplishment for me. So again, it's never too late to live the life that you've always dreamed of. Go for it!

Did you always know that you wanted to be a singer/songwriter?

I always knew that I would be a singer. However, honestly,

songwriting is something I kind of stumbled on. Lol. When I met my

fiancé’ over ten years ago, he taught me how to play the keyboard.

From there I started putting my poetry to music and progressed to a

songwriter.

Were there times where you doubted your ability to pursue your dream?

Of course. I think as humans there are emotions we ALL share. And

doubt & insecurity are two of them. There’s always going to be someone

with a bigger range, or a stronger voice, or a thinner figure. I feel

as humans we get so wrapped up in everyone else that we miss out on

our own progress and growth. Focusing on God, self, and family is the

best way to go.

What would you tell someone who believes that realizing their dreams may be impossible?

Hmmm. Good question. What I would say to them is, everyday we see

the sun rise and set. We see rainbows appear after the rain. A million

births daily. These are all miracles. Why is this possible but your

dreams are not? We are our worst enemy. We accept dreams coming true

for those around us, but not ourselves. Hard work & dedication DOES

bring results. Don’t stop! & When you feel you’re going 110% push

Sometimes Seeing Is Believing!

Great Morning all! It is yet another glorious day, let's thank the creator for this beautiful gift called life. You know what, seeing is believing, what I mean by this statement is that there will always be negative people around you that will try to discourage you from reaching your goals. Some people are lucky enough to be blessed with a great support system and to those people I say kudos! But there are others that are not lucky enough to have such a support system and sometimes religion, class or even a particular belief system may play a part in why some people just have narrow views. Although I live in an urban area, some may say impoverished, it depends on who's eyes are looking through the "looking glass", I have always had an open mind and always believed in my abilities. I have always been creative and have read many books which has broadened my mind. A lot of people in these areas are cynical about life because of what they have experienced and have stopped believing in themselves and in the fact that everything is possible. I have always viewed the cup as half full as opposed to half empty. You should not ever stop believing that anything and everything is possible. You most certainly will get knocked down many, many times and the goal may be a little further to reach because of your economical status, but with perserverance and sheer will anything that anyone wants out of this life can be achieved. If you want a "normal" career like being a teacher that is certainly attainable or if you want a more "offbeat" career like being an actor/model that is attainable too, albeit, a bit more challenging but with hard work and perseverance this as well can also be attained. But like I said, seeing is believing, meaning that you don't always want to or have to tell others of your dreams/passions/goals. You can quietly and efficiently get to working on them alone and before long you will have attained them and you can then let everyone know about them to avoid the unsupportive people in your life. Unsupportive people may not believe in your words but they will damn sure believe in your actions! Either way, get busy and make it happen!

Do Your Best, The Rest Is Up To God !

Great morning DreamWarriors, it is a great day to be alive! I know you guys have heard this saying many, many times before. I know someone's mom, dad, grandmother, grandfather, auntie or uncle has told them this expression when they have approached them for advice. All you can do is your best, as long as you give your 110%, you can leave the rest to up to God. But guess what by putting in 110% God probably will lay back and chill because He knows that you got it. But for those that have given a particular goal or business their absolute best and they are not seeing the fruits of their labor, just leave it in God's hands. Sometimes you must plant years and years of seeds before you see one tiny bud grow. Some people have early harvests and will see their results of laying their seeds right away, be patient, you may not be one of those people. You may be part of the late bloomers, where everything takes time, but you know what they say, the more steadier and slower the success the more chances for longevity. So keep doing what you're doing and you will soon see buds and then taller buds and then the tallest buds in your field of dreams. God will see you through!

Great morning DreamWarriors,

"Shine Your Light For The World To See" is a phrase from the song written by the famous hip-hop conscious rapper Mos Def. I absolutely love this song, it is really inspirational and motivational to me. Mos is saying that his mom told him to shine his light on the world. I believe that everyone of us has a light that we can and must shine on the world. Our light is our bliss and our passion, it is what makes us happy. It is just being a positive and constructive human being. If everyone discovered their light imagine how bright we all could be. When I speak about living your dreams and passion, I do realize that there are many people that are doing that very thing. So my words are really directed towards those who have not yet found their way or for those that are stuck in a situation for the time being but have hopes that in the future they can find their way. I can tell you that when you are not shining your light on the world or are not living your dreams, your light and your life is dim. Imagine this sight, everyone has a lightbulb hovering over their heads, some are shining brightly, some are somewhat bright, some are dim, while others are totally turned off. Think about it, you don't want to be traveling through life with a dim lightbulb or even worse, your light is turned off.

Yesterday, I was watchingTavis Smiley and he was interviewing a 60 year old singer who actually looked like she was in her 30's. She said she made her first record in the 1960's, but her first "big break" came 40 years later. I was absolutely amazed with her, I hung on to every word that she spoke, she was so interesting, her name is Bettye LaVette. Her voice is identical to Tina Turner's, she has that raspy rock type of voice. She said that she has been working as a singer for 40 years but she never made it "big" until now at 60 years old. So I was wondered, how is it that she sounds exactly identical to Tina Turner but was not a star and Tina Turner made it so big throughout all these years. Why is it that two people with the exact same sound and talent is not equally successful at the same time? She said that throughout the years she owed record companies because her albums never sold enough to cover their investment, she said that she just received her first royalty check after 40 years of doing music. I was floored. This woman sustained her passion of music throughout all these years. She was healthy, strong, had been taking care of herself all these years through eating right and working out, I swear she looked 35. All of those years of "not making it" was preparing her for when she would "make it". The creator had work to do on her all those years because she said she made wrong choices and decisions and had to learn some hard lessons. I just love that victorious story. Some people have victory early in their lives and some receive the victory later in life, either one is okay as long as we are victorious. Bettye LaVette is awesome!

Hello everyone, it's another great day to be alive! Joy comes in the morning! Our souls leave us at night and are returned to us in the morning, so every morning you should jump out of bed with vigor and purpose, for God has chosen you to continue your journey of self-development. You are an unfinished piece of art that is waiting to be completed. Celebrate life and laugh! I do believe laughter is the best medicine. Have you ever felt sad or depressed and then you receive a phone call from a friend that tells you something funny and your spirit lifts instantly. Well that's what the power of laughter and feeling good can do for you. I know that when I'm feeling blue I usually try to watch a comedy show or a comedy movie and I swear for that moment I forget all about the very thing that made me blue in the first place. That's why you should always look at the brighter side of life, don't take yourself and others too seriously and don't forget to have a sense of humor. Problems will come and go, you can't control them, but no one can take away a happy and positive disposition, you are in control of that. So remember laugh, laugh and laugh people.

Great morning all, and a beautiful morning it is! It is a great day to be alive. We all go through hardships and setbacks, but we should never let that stop us from our destiny. I believe our destiny is defined by our choices. I always think about the Matrix movie when I say this, Neo had the choice of the red pill or the blue pill. It was his choice which path of life he was going to go down and the same goes for us. We create our own destiny, yes many believe that it is all ready written by God, and this is true to a certain extent. For example, a murderer or rapist may say, I am this way because it was destined that I be a murderer or rapist otherwise God wouldn't of let me become this. That's not entirely the truth, people that do bad or negative things also have a choice in their destiny, it's just that they make the wrong decisions. If the rapist and murderer would of chose to go to medical school or law school, they could of became a doctor or lawyer instead of hurting people and that would of been their destiny. So you have the power to change your destiny or your (destination) in life at any time. It's just a matter of choice.

I was sent an e-book by my author friend, ShaniQ, about success and motivation. It is written by Alex Mitra and it's called Self-Motivation Secrets of Successful People. It was about 140 short pages, but it was so interesting that I think I read it in about an hour. I always read motivational/inspiration books so the information was basically the same but every author has their own individual creativity and style and puts their own spin on the topic. At the end of the e-book the author dedicated about four pages to famous quotes from highly successful and famous people and I just wanted to share a few with my readers.

I absolutely love the last poem about not quitting. I read some of the poem a while back but never had the pleasure of reading it in its entirety. I printed it out and decorated it nicely and placed it on my wall so that I can read it each day to remind myself that when I get weary, I can rest but I must not quit my goals.
