AMY GOODMAN: The Chicago police have also been accused of targeting independent media activists who have been streaming the protests live over the internet. On Saturday night, police detained three livestreamers at gunpoint. Luke Rudkowksi of WeAreChange.org described what happened.

LUKE RUDKOWSKI: A large number of police vehicles, undercover vehicles, CPD vehicles, three white-shirt lieutenants pulled up right in front of us, guns were drawn, screaming at us to get our hands up.

POLICE OFFICERS: Keep your hands [inaudible]! Hands up! Hands! [expletive] hands!

LUKE RUDKOWSKI: We’re being raided right now, for those that are watching. We are being raided by the CPD, as we speak.

LUKE RUDKOWSKI: I immediately took my hands out, but with a cell phone in one hand. I was recording the whole thing on Ustream, with officers coming up to us with guns pointed. And they were screaming, “It’s just a cell phone. Don’t shoot!” They repeated that about five times. They took my cell phone, threw it on the roof, took us out of the car, put us in handcuffs, asked them some—asked us some questions, took down all of our information, started banging our hard drives, our camera equipment, our batteries. I think one of our hard drives may be destroyed from the banging that the officers did to it. I was talking to one of the lieutenants, and he said, “We’re just looking for a vehicle that’s similar to this.” We drive a ’99 Lexus with New Mexico plates. I don’t think there’s many New Mexico license plates here in Chicago, especially matching that description of that vehicle. And when he said that, he looked down, when I was making eye contact, and started laughing.

MIKE BURKE: But why do you think the police are so threatened by what you do?

LUKE RUDKOWSKI: I have no idea. I mean, what we do is provide a service to the people. We stream live, raw, unedited, for everybody to see and make up their own mind. We’re not—we’re here to document.

A group of independent journalists who were detained at gunpoint while covering the Nato summit believe they may have been intentionally targeted by police.

At least four journalists – including a Getty photographer – were arrested covering the event, and a number of others suffered injuries while working.

While the overall arrest count following the summit was relatively low and some journalists said authorities were accommodating, the treatment of some members of the media has raised concerns.

Late Saturday night Tim Pool, Luke Rudkowski, Geoff Shively and two friends were driving to an apartment where they had been staying in Chicago. The group had spent the day live streaming and documenting anti-Nato protests.

As they approached a stop sign, roughly a dozen police vehicles – marked and unmarked – reportedly surrounded their car with lights flashing. Using their cellphones Pool and Rudkowski activated their live stream feeds.

“Fuckin’ hands!” one officer is heard yelling, as police approached the vehicle with their guns drawn.

Rudkowski, who was in the back passenger seat, reached his arm outside the window, his phone in hand. It nearly cost him his life.

“They started screaming: ‘Don’t shoot, it’s only a cellphone, don’t shoot!’” Rudkowski said. “I was scared that they easily could have shot me because they saw something in my hands.”

Police bent Shively over the vehicle and handcuffed the remaining four. Officers rifled through the vehicle and reportedly smashed batteries and external hard drives belonging to the journalists. Rudkowksi’s phone was taken from him and much of his footage from the incident was deleted.

According to Shively, a senior officer said their car matched “the exact description of another vehicle” police were looking for. Shively says that when they were initially stopped he heard an officer say: “We found them.”

All five were released without charge. They suspect they may have been targeted. “We thought we were being set up earlier, especially at our place,” Rudkowski said.

That afternoon a woman renting the apartment where the group was staying allegedly informed them that police had gathered outside the residence and were not allowing people to enter. She reportedly advised them not to return.

Pool believes it is possible they were deliberately targeted by police. “They knew who we were. They weren’t pulling over a random car,” he said.

Chicago police did not respond to a request for comment.

Pool and Rudkowski are among the most well-known live stream journalists covering the Occupy movement. Pool’s work has been profiled in Time magazine and number of other publications. Shivley recently returned from a live streaming trip to Syria. Rudkowski – who was granted NATO press credentials – has a history of confronting political figures and executives with his camera. A day before his detention, Rudkowski questioned Chicago police superintendent Garry McCarthy and asked if the department intended to use agent provocateurs in responding to the NATO demonstrations.

Hours before the live streamers were detained, Mike Paczesny, who works with Rudkowski’s media outlet, We Are Change, claims he was held for over seven hours at a Chicago police precinct in connection with a separate incident and was questioned about Rudkowski.

The allegation that journalists were targeted complicates the view that police handled the press at NATO appropriately, a suggestion made by some who were on the ground.

“In comparison to the NYPD, they were much more professional,” said CS Muncy, a photographer with the Village Voice, who has covered Occupy actions in New York City and who photographed the Nato demonstrations. Muncy says the police were accommodating to credentialed members of the press and displayed “deference” to the protesters. “It could’ve been much, much worse.”

Muncy did note that reports suggesting live stream journalists were deliberately targeted were “creepy”. He said: “That’s the more insidious side of things.”

Occupy Wall Street livestreamers Tim Pool, Luke Rudkowski, and Jeoff Shively, along with two other friends, were driving back to their apartment around midnight on Satuirday, after a long day covering the anti-NATO protests in Chicago when they were suddenly surrounded by twelve police cars and told to come out with their hands raised.

Much praise has been heaped upon the CPD for their ginger approach toward policing protesters. However, while the CPD might have initially lacked the bash-you-in-the-face forthrightness of the NYPD, that doesn’t mean there isn’t some seriously creepy stuff happening behind the scenes.

To select just one story: In the early hours of Sunday, livestreamers Tim Pool and Luke Rudkowski were pulled over by the CPD, and had their vehicle surrounded by police, who drew their weapons upon the activists.

Later, police said Pool and Rudkowski’s vehicle matched the description of another vehicle they sought.

USWGO Reporter Brian D. Hill Interviews Elton M. Crisman Jr. on P-Code. He was a inventor that once worked for NASA, he also worked on the Stealth Aircraft used by our Military today. Retired After 34 years from the Aerospace industry working for Boeing, NASA, Bell Telephone Laboratories, and Lockheed Martin Corporation.

P-Code is a very scary concept because many Americans use GPS Navigation Satellites, almost every airplane uses GPS for safety and security, and many ships use GPS navigation. What P-Code was for was to confuse GPS devices by giving false coordinates to GPS Devices so lets say that Someone goes from Point A to Point B but with P-Code it scrambles the GPS Signal forcing the GPS to make Point B go to a different location then where the origin location for Point B is suppose to be.

The guise for this is that a foreign enemy or insurgent could have a weapon use the GPS system to target a certain location here in the U.S. to blow up a certain target. With P-Code it can make the weapon hit a different area instead of it’s primary target since it scrambles the GPS coordinates before it reaches the weapon.

The consequences versus the benefits of P-Code are at a very different level because stopping a few enemy missiles in the sky is a great idea but then planes could hit buildings and not know where ti land since many are used to using GPS navigation satellites for guidance, so many are used to using GPS for conventional travel, and there are those that use GPS for rescue service missions to help people and P-Code would cause problems for many different situations that would save lives or even keep lives from harm.

What my concern with what Mr. Crisman is talking about is that during a exercise of martial law, P-Code could be used to quell domestic inserrection which means to use against the American people. P-Code is possibly in use in GPS devices which means at any time P-Code could be activated and can be used against the American people by the offshore mega banks that now run the Federal Government in America.

So according to Mr. Crisman Bill Clinton wiped out anything on P-Code but it is hard to know whether he wiped out P-Code due to the bad press and kept it underground or whether he did it due to all the negative consequences that P-Code would create on the travel industry and the whole economical system. All references to P-Code has stopped that is all I know.

Also I interviewed him on his help on the work of the famous Stealth plane or aircraft used by the air force and military defense forces. I know that the stealth plane was designed to not only be at high speed but can avoid radar detection by enemy nations.

Who showed Up? Not ABC, PBS, NBC, FOX, CBS, and others

Can we really trust our local TV news networks under PBS, CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, and other corporate whore media outlets to cover a very critical and important event that can affect the state of North Carolina’s judicial system??? No we can’t.

After I went in front of the Mayodan town council on March 14th 2012, gave NC Senator and President pro Tempore of the NC Senate Phil Berger a copy of my petition and my legal analysis report on the NDAA, I was disappointed that no media showed up, not even The Madison Messenger a more local newspaper, not even the News and Record, not even RockinghamUpdate (The smallest traffic news website), and none of the local news TV Stations.

I even complained on YouTube about this predicament.

I had called up WXII12, FOX8, Associated Press Raleigh branch, News and Record, the Madison Messenger, WXLV, WFMY News 2, and others to call for them to attend my press conference at the James A Collins Municipal Building in downtown Mayodan at 7:00PM EST to watch me make history as I give the 221 signatures Nullify-NDAA Petition and a informative report on the NDAA. The whole point of the press conference was to get the truth out, to get many people in the western region of North Carolina to put pressure on Sen. Berger to introduce legislation to Nullify the Indefinite Detention provision of the NDAA, and to get North Carolina to be the next state to resist the NDAA law.

Almost every media outlet I called including FOX8, WXII12, The Madison Messenger and others all told me over the phone that they would send a reporter over there to interview me and/or would show up at the event to capture me giving Sen. Berger a copy of my petition. The media lied when I saw the reality at the May 14th 7:00PM Mayodan Town Council meeting. All the local media I could ever call has lied to me dead straight in the face. I have the proof as my phone records prove I have called the local media multiple times to give them updates on the Nullify-NDAA Petitioning process. Then I even sent emails as their newsrooms have told me to do so the media cannot claim I am lying as I have all the proof that it was the media that lied to me.

How was this event not media worthy??? President Pro Tempore and State Senator Phil Berger receiving a paper petition with handwritten signatures to get him to introduce state legislation. How is that not something the media should cover?

Well at least the other two Mayodan Town Council meetings the RockinghamUpdate did cover the meeting.

I am shocked and surprised that the local media will not cover local events with a historical significance. Who can trust WXII12 as they are owned by NBC, who can trust FOX8 as they are run by Fox, who can trust WFMY News 2 which is CBS, who can trust any of the corporate media since they rather cover race baiting stories like the Travon Martin shooting but not a political event where I am doing the right thing and helping to protect We The People’s rights. Even the News and Record was putting out propaganda about Zimmerman but wouldn’t come to see me give a real state senator, that is on the front page of the North Carolina Legislature Senate page, a copy of my petition. This ain’t just a regular Internet petition but a real petition with signatures and peoples real addresses or phone numbers and the media acts as though I don’t exist.

I feel just like Ron Paul when the media kept trying to ignore him as he was against the establishment.

I was forced to cover my own press conference with my own cheap camera equipment and couldn’t get perfect sound quality. I am disappointed that not only did the local media not show up at all but they lied to me and said they would show up but didn’t right when the time came for the big special event even though at a small town council.
