WERLICH DR, CAMBRIDGE
On Tuesday May 15, 2012 Waterloo Regional Police and Cambridge Fire Department responded to a fire at 125 Werlich Drive in the City of Cambridge.

Upon arriving Police observed the front garden area of the commercial building to be engulfed in flames and considerable smoke in the area.

Police investigate fatal motor vehicle collision in North Dumfries

Waterloo Region ON – On May 15th, 2012 at approximately 12:22 am Waterloo Regional Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Alps Road between Edworthy Side Road and Spragues Road, in the Township of North Dumfries.

A 2012 Mitsubishi was eastbound on Alps Road when the driver lost control and collided with a tree on the north shoulder.

The driver and sole occupant of the motor vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

KING ST E, KITCHENER
On May 14, 2012, at approximately 10:00 p.m., a female was accosted in the area of King St. and Stirling Ave. in the City of Kitchener.

The female was pushed against a wall and propositioned by a lone male.

The male, believed to be intoxicated by alcohol, is described as white, 25 years, dark hair, unkempt facial hair, wearing a grey t-shirt and checkered shorts.

Kitchener man charged with manslaughter

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have charged an 18 year old Kitchener man with manslaughter following an altercation Saturday night in Kitchener.

Just after midnight on Sunday, May 13, emergency services responded to a report of a man lying on the ground behind Cameron Heights Collegiate. That man is now deceased and has been identified as 19 year old John James of Kitchener.

A post mortem is being conducted in Hamilton today.

Waterloo Region ON – As part of Police Week celebrations, members of the Waterloo Regional Police Auxiliary, Ceremonial Band and Male Chorus will be on parade in full dress uniform at the Annual Auxiliary and Uniform Volunteer Inspection ceremony, Tuesday May 15, 2012, beginning at 6:45pm.

Police investigate suspicious death in Kitchener

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a homicide that occurred overnight in Kitchener.

Just after midnight on Sunday, May 13, emergency services responded to a report of a man lying on the ground behind Cameron Heights Collegiate. That man is now deceased and the incident has been determined to be a homicide.

A suspect is currently in custody. The investigation is in its preliminary stages.
