Sponsor a Student in Liberia & Ghana

Because the students are not capable of financing the full tuition costs on their own we are seeking churches or individuals who would be interested in sponsoring an African student for only $50 a semester or $100 for the year. Youth Ministry Leader Needed

Our youth are still “sheep without a shepherd” because Calvary Baptist Church is without a permanent youth leader. Praise the Lord for Rodick and Hannah who have taken over the Wednesday night youth ministry meetings. Rodick ministers to the boys while Hannah ministers to the girls. Pray that God will raise up a young couple to permanently take over the youth ministry.

In Need of Better Transportation

We ask that you would pray with us concerning a very personal request. The Jeep that we have been using is more than ten years old, presently very worn out, and in need of much repair. This leaves us in a difficult situation as our transportation is concerned. We not only need a good vehicle for the months of chemotherapy, radiation, and hormone treatment appointments, but it is also needful for use in the Hurumberi village, Tirupattur, and the Jawadhi Hills ministry. We appreciate you praying with us about this matter.

Church Building Project

Please pray that God would provide the finances needed to complete the first phase of the church building project. The current need stands at about $12,000. “All things are possible with God!”

Hanger Update Project

We have received the 2 hangers but are unable to install because we found out that 1) concrete has greatly increased in price and 2) our county is charging us $1024 for the building permit. Because of this we will still need at least $11,000 to place these 2 hangers in place. So trust the Lord with us, pray with and for us, and we will see what God can do! Our Family Car

Please pray with us for a family car. The car that we’ve been using broke down last week just days after we came back from Guam. The engine’s joints leak very badly. The repairman told me the engine needs to be taken apart, repaired, and put back again. This will be a costly repair.

Teachers needed in the Marshall Islands

Majuro Baptist Christian Academy in the Marshall Islands will need various elementary and high school teachers for the 2013-2014 school year. This is a great opportunity for someone to get short term mission/teaching experience. They will pay travel expenses for any teacher willing to stay at least one full school year; as well as provide housing, and a small salary.
