The amendment to Article III (Membership) Section I passed on June 1st and we are in the process of updating the various areas of our website to reflect this change and also update several forms on the Links page – thank you for your patience.

SECTION I   The Executive Board shall consider application for membership in the Women’s Akron District Golf Association from private clubs in Summit, Portage, Stark and Medina Counties which have had an active women’s organization for not less than one year prior to the time of making such application.

]]> 2017 Season http://blog.wadga.org/2017/06/16/2017-season/ Fri, 16 Jun 2017 20:56:21 +0000 http://blog.wadga.org/?p=207 Three events completed already this season!  Opening Day June 2nd at Brookside was a team event, June 9th at Silver Lake and June 16th at Westfield were the first two individual tournaments.  Congratulations to our Medalist at Silver Lake – Gail Hackett and our Medalist at Westfield – Suzi Spotleson.  We had a hole-in-one on the 9th hole at Westfield by Julie Cowling – her first hole-in-one – champagne for everyone!  All results are on the Tournaments page.
