Making time to help your WAHM business succeed

Well, the summer and start of school knocked us out of our groove for work at home moms twitter chat parties. Now that we’re gearing up to start the holiday season, what better time to get some support for our businesses to earn some extra holiday cash? So how ’bout it, moms? When would you like to meet?

New Time! #wahmwednesday on Twitter 7pm Pacific

By popular demand, this week’s #wahmwednesday discussion on Twitter has been moved to the evening. Following the lead of the #gno (Girl’s Night Out) Twitter party, we’ve moved ours so the kids are in bed, or are at least being watched by Dad or the babysitter.

Please join us at 7pm Pacific / 8 Mountain / 9 Central / 10 Eastern. The discussion will last approximately one hour.

This week we will not feature a guest in order to give all of the work at home moms an opportunity to promote their businesses. We’ll be asking these questions:

2. Who does your business serve (customers / readers)
3. When do you do the actual work?
4. How do you find a balance between working your business and being fully present with your children?
5. What’s your best success tip for your work at home mom WAHM business?
6. Does this time work for you, or could we move it one hour later?

Today on the #wahmwednesday Twitter chat we welcome Anita Cohen-Williams of MySearchGuru.com. Anita will be chatting with us today about her specialty, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media Optimization (SMO). In addition to her work on Twitter and with her company, Anita was most recently a panelist for Revenue Bootcamp last week in Mountain View, California – perhaps it is not a coincidence that Mountain View is Google’s neighborhood!

The “official” #wahmwednesday chat lasts approximately on hour. The format for today’s chat will allow Anita to discuss the questions listed below from 9 a.m. Pacific time for about the first half hour, and then we will open the chat to allow all the Work At Home Mom participants (that is you, gorgeous WAHM!) to promote your businesses for the second half hour. The questions we’ll be asking Anita include:
