The Walk-Over CHASE lace-up in Emerald green leather, red leather and charcoal suede as well as two styles from our Walk-over Vintage Collection – the NATHANIEL jump boot and SCOTTY leather slide, were paired with the looks.

“The FW14 collection is inspired by the spirit of Andre Gide’s 1902 novel “L’immoraliste”. It contains a refined mood that lies in tension with an impending sense of freedom. Familiar silhouettes are revisited in innovative fabrics. The clothes are introspective yet quietly alluring. The collection’s essence is perfectly echoed in the shoes by Walk-over, a perfect way to step in a new direction,” the designer said of our NYFW collaboration.

The featured footwear styles were a great match with the collection of refined Parisian-inspired classics. We look forward to future collaborations with the talented Lucio Castro.

We created custom versions of a new wingtip style from the Walk-Over Fall 2014 collection – crafted in custom patent leathers to perfectly match the details in David’s collection.

About the Collection:

David Hart has taken the majority of his inspiration from the show “The Twilight Zone” by Rod Serling.

“There is texture and “static” in the majority of the textiles I developed this season and it runs throughout the entire collection.  The custom patent leather Walk-Over shoes that we developed this season are the perfect compliment to the collection.” ~ David Hart

As you can see from the pictures from the show, these shoes offer a great touch of color and contrast. We were extremely happy to have worked with David Hart for another season and look forward to future collaborations with this very talented designer.
