Thanks to all who participated in London’s 4th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® on Sunday, September 18th. By gathering pledges prior to the Walk and then donning red (or pink) high heels and ‘strolling’ around Victoria Park, you made this year’s Walk a great success. The final tally is still to come as pledges are still rolling in the door; however, that total is anticipated to be over $40,000. We appreciate your support, men, and give a tip of the hat to you. Thanks also goes to the The Shriner’s Mocha Temple Oriental Band who led the Walk, EZRock97.5, the friends, family members, and staff who came to cheer the Walkers on, and the volunteers who worked diligently to ensure the Walk event went smoothly. And, of course, we acknowledge with much appreciation those who pledged financially in support of the Walkers. See you next year!!!
