After disable all anti-virus software, include Microsoft Security Essential, it worked.

I read a lot on internet, and I use Google Reader most of time.

Here is the good way to take notes:

1. Open the left panel and click "Shared Items", then you will see a function "Note in Reader", bookmark this and then you can share every interesting page with notes via Reader.

2. The Sample

3. So, now, you know how to share every web page you like. And further more, you can search them at Reader any time.

4. And, further, recommend you to use Chrome browser with extension to catch screenshot (here is the link)

iPhone vs. Android

I did a project for this topic when I took MBA, the conclusion of us is the competition of "close" and "open". From history point of view, open won, that's Windows. And we believed "open" will win again.

I used iPhone before, now Android. Definitely iPhone is better in terms of user experience and app numbers. But Android is also fantastic, is capable in most of the key functions, even better in some point. First, android has lot of choices, and even more in future. Secondly, the "back" button of android is great, you can always return to previous page, app. It automatically close new pages when you surfing and want to return to previous page.
Of course, some functions are stupid, like copy, can't adjust the initial selection, eg. want to copy one more or less character, you just can't adjust, have to re-select.

But in terms of future, I still think Apple can't beat the whole world.

The food is good, the service is the best I encountered in Singapore. The waitress talked nicely while serving, every waitress smile all the time. I believe it's part of the requirements from the owner, he wants such environment for his customers.
The food is a little experience although still affordable. You can try.

Charge problem of Motolora Milestone

I found my Milestone can't charge intermittently, even after I sent to repair once.
Occasionally, I found I can charge after reboot. So that's the problem, as I installed an app to kill unknown programs running in background, so shoud be due to I use it to kill some task that help to recognize "charge ".
The lesson learnt:
1. if you use <taskkiller> for android phone, be carefully and don't kill some needed app.
2. If you use <taskkiller> and encounter charge issue, reboot the phone.

　　最后，你还必须要看有没有一些障碍在阻止人们做正确的事。在优秀的组织里——国务院当然是一个优秀的组织——人们大多想做正确的事，我认为在斯坦福也是这样，人们不想当绊脚石，但是有时候会有一些障碍让他们很难去做正确的事。例如，在国务院，我需要阿拉伯事务发言人到巴格达这样的地方去，这就要求他们走出开罗。但是如果他们离开开罗，他们的家人就得千里迢迢搬回美国。所以，我们得想办法让他们在巴格达工作的时候，他们的家人仍能留在开罗。

16 boxes

I love this particular blog post by Seth Godin that he wrote more than a year ago. Its titled 16 boxes and he talks about how our career or business is not a single entity but is made up of so many different parts (that he refers to as boxes). I have always read this post when I am low so I thought I share it with you all as well.

I feel that just like our career or business, even our life is made up of several different interconnected parts. We have our health, wealth, family, job, children, friends, career aspirations, social circles, ambitions etc. These could all be titled as different boxes that make up our life. Now at any moment, not all boxes may be doing good at the same time. Things might be going wrong in some aspects. But life is not a boat which needs no leaks to float. Even if one of our boxes aren't doing well, our entire life is not gonna sink. We can still sail around.

But when things actually go wrong, we always focus only on the boxes where things are going bad. We don't even bother about all the other good boxes that we have in our life. I read somewhere that our primal instincts make us focus on things that are wrong, because when we as a species were still in the jungle hunting for food, not having something right was a matter of survival. However, today that's not the case. We as a species however have not yet evolved to ignore things which are not in our control. We still continue to worry about the things that are going wrong and many a times end up affecting the other boxes which are perfectly normal till then. The first time I read through the whole original letter.

1) understand the natural of business, eg. "float" of insurance industry.

2) look for long term

3) pick trusted managers

4) CEO can't delegate risk control

5) let money work harder at trouble periods

6) eat what you cook. Especially, the ads at the end of the letter.

Investment is always something about philosophy.

For me, Google is the greatest company, I use its products everytime
when I use Internet. Now I realise Google offer real time Twitter
search, the Twits will update almost every 2 to 3 seconds. I also
realise the great of Twitter, we can easily know how people look at
certain things, eg. iPad.

Btw, Google stock drop a lot recently. Buy?
