Hate or Love fur it will definitely keep you warm this winter. Since it's about -200000 degrees outside I get absolutely freezing walking to college! And to add to my misery I've noticed quite a few girls rocking the faux fur look and may I add looking very warm and cosy. I have to say I do quite like the faux fur coat currently hitting like every high street store at the moment. However, beware! I do think it can look uber classy or uber trashy, so if you're gona go faux team your coat with a classy outfit to create a modish or cute girly look. Right girls it's time to ditch the dull, single nail colour look and to get creative! YES it's nail art time!

I keep seeing the most amazing pictures of nail art all over tumblr and I'm always in ore of them. Some of these nails and designs I see are amazing! Honestly, I look down at my short, pretty mediocre nails and almost frown with jealously. So, I've come to the conclusion I either need to get learning nail art pretty quick, invest in some profesh nail polishes and equipment or I can search Ebay and hopefully purchase some super cute falsies... Knowing me it will probably be the third option. haha.

So last week I saw the stunning blonde bombshell Rita Ora in concert and I have to say she was AHHmazing, not only vocally but also in the style stakes as well. From early this year I've been following her rapid journey to fame as a singer and also as a trend setter for young girls everywhere. Firstly, I think she's super beautiful like OMG I can't even look at her for more than a minute but I also love how distinct and quirky she is in her dress sense; she isn't afraid to push the boundaries. I swear on stage last week she was wearing a pink latex apron, like who else but Rita can pull that off?!? In fact she can go from super glam red carpet hot to a casual/sport luxe diva in like 0.6 seconds and can look absolutely incredible in anything. She could make a bin bag look sexy and that right there is why I love her! She's my official style crush of this year and so in appreciation to Rita I've posted quite a few of my favorite looks below. Enjoy! (got a bit carried away)

Attention! 1 2 3 4 5 military style is being revived! Okay so maybe we're not actually members of the army but with the introduction of khaki prints and army jackets being launched into many of our favourite high street stores I have to say I'm finding it hard not to jump on the military bandwagon. Camouflaged and khaki prints are far from girly chic but to me offer a cool grunge look to casual outfit. So I decided to find some of my favorite army jackets on the high street. My favorite is definitely Topshop's plain army jacket (below), perfect for everyday use and at a warm £48 I'll probably have to do a little bit of saving before I can snap this one up. Pastels, Peaches and Spring.

It may not have officially arrived yet but the stores seem to be welcoming the arrival of spring early. Pastel colours, greys, creams and dip dyed fabrics seemed to have dressed the shop windows after the gradual end to the winter sales and I must say I quite like it. Yes, it may be bitter cold outside but inside the stores it's a rainbow of fresh spring colours and I think it's time to start preparing for the pre-summer season. I'm going to Venice at Easter and I'm making sure my case is full of pretty pastels and glitter. Well... that's if my mum decides to help fund my pre-holiday shopping spree. Haha. Now go shop!

So, a couple of months ago I posted how I was no longer able to shop at Topshop and how I was going to have to trade the top end apparel for more affordable items in charity shops.. remember? Well, let's just say that decision failed. I mean who was I kidding, even if I didn't have any money I could never turn my back on Topshop. It just wouldn't be ethical! Haha. Topshop to me is like a haven, a place where I feel at home and you should never turn your back on home! Plus I've been eyeing up these beauties for months (see below). They're called Vectra studded slippers. I think they're really pretty but edgy and they come in cream! Does anyone want to buy me a pair?!

J'adore Underground Creepers! If you don't know what creepers are, Google them. Haha. Creepers have been creeping their way back into fashion and even though 99.9% of people I know hate them; I simply love them. They're quite big and clumpy due to their 4 inch soles but I think when worn with frilly socks they can look really cute. Plus they're different and come in so many colours and patterns. One could even wear them as an alternative to heels! I tried them on and I was at least a foot taller. I've ordered a plain black pair from Urban Outfitters and I'm hoping that they come in time for New Years (fingers crossed). Love or Hate Creepers? Celebs such as Rihanna and Cher Lloyd seem to love them. What do you think?

WWW.BLACKMILKCLOTHING.COM is the best site ever!

So, I've been seeing galaxy print leggings, dresses and leotards all over Tumblr and the web and yesterday I finally found their origin! They're from Black Milk. Black Milk is an online clothing store and they sell so many cool garments. From polar bear swimming costumes, to skeleton leggings and galaxy print dresses, I quickly fell in love. The only negative is that it's really expensive (as always). The galaxy print leggings I want are like $78! I'm broke at the moment so this item is one I'll have to move to the back of my mind... For now. Ughh, I just love cosmic print at the moment. I want to walk around town like I've just been thrown from Jupiter. Why is that so hard? haha. Okay, it’s official Vanessa Hudgens is my girl crush! At 22 years young she’s sparkling like the Swarovski crystals embedded into those lavish Louboutins. Other than her obvious sheer beauty Vanessa Hudgens is paving the modish stones of fashion with her maroon sleek bob and her ever changing angelic ensembles.

Accessorizes are pivotal for giving a mundane outfit that extra glimmer and Vanessa, like me, is a strong believer. From her millions of girly authentic bracelets and rings to her statement cross and feather necklaces, Hudgens has the bohemian gods at Teen Vogue leaping from the adorning skies. Yes, like my style icon I too have ended up being seduced into a bohemian state of mind.

So, if I took a walk through Vanessa’s immeasurable closet what would I see? I’d see the ideas, the originality and the fun behind each outfit. It’s those reasons alone why I admire Vanessa’s style. She’s a fashion role model for young women everywhere. Her oversized boyfriend t-shirts with heels or boots glam up a usually casual look by displaying her toned, tanned pins. Just a little random thing I wrote.

You ask “what is the finest fashion moment of 2011?” I am the finest fashion moment of 2011. I am the epidermal growth that forms the distinctive covering of Zuhair Murad’s most lavish pièce de résistance. My pale pink body skims the lining of his bold but delicate creation. Worn by who other than socialite, fashionista and woman of the moment; Kim Kardashian.

Okay, so perhaps I got a little ‘too’ into my fetish for feathers, but goodness would I at least want to be the skin inside this exquisite masterpiece. The array of feathers, textures and fabrics create an almost oceanic exhibit. It’s as if God, I mean Vogue, called a tide of fashion to dramatically splash chic, authenticity and grace ever so beautifully on to the salmon ensemble. Yes, Murad’s creation is definitely one from the God’s, whilst Kim is simply the angel, setting the feathers alight with her sheer beauty.

Finest fashion moment of 2011; I think so! Well, the world is fashion and fashion means the world and I know my admiration for this dress will never fade into the skies.

Unfortunately my 3 year shopping spree/addiction at Topshop may be coming to a bleak end. As we know Topshop is a high end, high street store which in my opinion sells the most beautiful in style clothes ever. It's that reason why in the past the price of their clothes has never bothered me as their sheer beauty had always outweighed the costly price tag. However, at the moment I have NO MONEY, seriously I have about 20 pence. So, whilst fixating on my rows and rows of Topshop beauty I came to the conclusion that it was "No more Topshop" and "Hello Charity Shop." Well. I'll see how long it lasts. Haha. On the plus side though charity and vintage shops often have some amazing chic and cheap buys! Maybe they'll become my new obsession! Oh and Topshop if you're reading PLEASE GIVE ME A JOB! Thanks. :)

Was it a leopard or was it this autumn's fierce new trend?! Leopard print is everywhere this season and yes I couldn't help but get into the 'wild' spirit myself. I ended up being seduced into an animalistic state of mind and snapped up a thin leopard print belt in Topshop and some cute leopard print grips in H&M. In my opinion leopard print can either look as shoddy as Lindsey Lohan on a good day or as modish as Kim Kardashian everyday. Leopard print is bold and should be the statement piece in an outfit, therefore I wouldn't mix prints unless you're really audacious and can pull it off. Try leopard print with denim or black leather or you could even try some in trend leopard print slippers to give your outfit that extra RAWR. So, what do you think of leopard print? Feathers in my hair? Yes, Please! As summer has been upon us everyone has been sporting the 'feathers in my hair' look. This has been a style you may have only seen at festivals in the past but now many girls seem to be taking this trend to the streets. Feathers add such a unique and cool look to your hair and with so many different varieties of feathers you can wear , I say go for it! Demi Lovato seems to be a lover of the trend, often adding long subtle colored feathers to her beautiful wavy hair whilst Miley Cyrus sported a mixture of long green feathers! Feather hair extensions can be bought at many boutiques or you could even try making your own by attaching feathers to a bobble or hair slide. Vanessa Hudgens and younger sister Stella are walking the fashion walk! OK, so they're my new celeb obsessions but I seriously love the style these two have had going on recently. Vanessa has been rocking those long, tight fitting and flowy dresses whilst adding millions of necklaces and beads to give her outfits that gorgeous chic look. At the same time 13 year old sister, Stella has been keeping it young and looks amazing sporting short shorts and ankle boots; I wish I had that style at thirteen! The thing I love the most about these two is how they accessorize their outfits. From their girly authentic bracelets and necklaces to their cool shades and perfectly sized hand bags, these two are certainly sisters with style. lol. Plus, I really love Vanessa's new hair cut! Walk the fashion walk in a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Litas!
So, I first noticed these shoes by Jeffrey Campbell on Tumblr, a few pictures of the shoe had been dotted around the site and I immediately knew I had a strong admiration for this unique shoe boot. I then saw one of my favourite young celebs, Kendall Jenner, posing in a pair of the beautiful litas in black; this was certainly the cataylst for a little more research on the wonderful boot. So, my quick research found that they come in every colour and texture imaginable! From chic black leather to silver glitz and funky yellow suede; this lace up boot is a fashion must have for young girls everywhere. These shoes will go with just about everything and celebs such as Jessica Alba seem to love them! The five inch wooden heel will give you that extra, EXTRA lift, whilst the two inch sole will make it slightly easier for you to walk in. In my case 'totter' in. I'll definetly be putting these platform lace ups on my christmas list or maybe my generous mum will treat them to me for my 16th birthday. Then again, at a whopping £120 at Office I'm not quite sure... maybe this will be an item I'll cross off my christams list for now.
