LG Vu CU920 TV Phone

Theres a lot I could write, but I'll simply list the pros and cons....

Pros:
*Touchscreen works EXTREMELY well
*Super lightweight
*Plastic Screen (trust me this is a plus if you drop your phone.. the iphone has a glass screen therefore breaks easily)
*You can use a stylus although I recommend a screen protector if you do
*Great reception
*Volume is loud
*Mobile TV works well

Cons:
*No 3.5mm headphone jack ( I can't even begin to explain how annoying that is for a so-called MEDIA phone)
*No Flash on the camera
*At&t fills the phone with tons of applications and other stuff that you can't delete
*Battery life is pretty awful
*The phone doesn't come with much extra... no usb cord... no real internal memory... and no headphone adapter
*The web browser definitely needs to be improved especially once you ZOOM

All in all I was tempted to return this phone, but since I have a job where my phone goes through a lot of abuse, the simple fact that this phone is insurable unlike the iphone was enough for me.

I am very happy with this keep-in-touch instrument. I replaced an ordinary cellphone with this, so it's a real step up for me. Being able to check on, and send, emails from just about anywhere is a real revelation! It just eliminates the need to be attached to a base during working hours. It was also easy to set up and is easy to use. Can you tell I'm happy with it?
Out of all the phones I have had this is by far the best phone ever! I love it. It's camera takes great pictues that are so easy to upload to your computer. The phone it self is easy to use and keeps me stay organized!

It's so complete, i enjoy with this phone. It looks simply and glossy.

The i900 Omnia runs atop of version 6.1 of Microsoft's Windows Mobile Professional operating system. It supports quad-band GSM/EDGE as well as 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA (7.2Mbps) network connectivity, with WiFi thrown in for good measure. Highlights of the Omnia include a large, 3.2-inch WQVGA (240x400 pixel) touchscreen display with stylus support. The display supports auto-rotation for apps and there is a TV-out function for when 3.2-inch just isn't large enough. The i900 Omnia supports many different music and video formats, including Ogg Vorbis music and DivX and Xvid video. It's a perfect phone if you're working in a camera sensitive work place i.e military, top-secret etc.

The phone is really light and instead of a block it's more of a stick. It's even smaller compared to a PC mouse!

Being such a small device, the screen was my 1st worry. But apparently it wasn't a problem, reading and text-ing are pretty clear and straightforward.

Because of the twirl/flip. It hides the keypads which actually are quite nicely done. Not too small and pretty easy to use. Not a problem for fat thumbs and fingers.

Most of the functions are pretty as expected. Clear sound, easy interface, light and stylist.

Now here's the bad points.
The playback of music has only 14 volume levels which are not loud enough.
Closing of the swivel is a must if you are playing music or FM.
You can't multi task with this phone. If it's connected to your PC via the cable, you can't do anything else. Like wise for playing music or FM.

But that aside. It's pretty cool to flip this phone once in awhile.

Measuring 89.5mm x 32.6mm x 19.8mm (3.52"" x 1.28"" x 0.78"") and weighting just 76g (2.68oz), the tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) handset has a 1.46"" 262k color TFT LCD display with a 128x220 pixel resolution.

The M300 was the perfect choice for our 7 year old. He loves the kajeet sticker buddies that came with the phone and promptly decorated his phone with the characters. The parental controls are fantastic and keeps him safe too. We set it up so no calls or texts during school and homework hours, except for his parents. I think the kajeet phone really makes sense.
We bought the Samsung phone and Kajeet service for our son's 13th birthday and have been nothing but happy with the service. The phone is pretty basic, but the online service from Kajeet is fabulous.

We can put money into separate "wallets" on the Kajeet site and select whose "wallet" calls and text messages come out of. Calls and texts to parents and grandparents come out of our "wallet," while calls and texts to friends are paid for by our son.

It's a really great choice for a first phone.

I got this phone as a replacement from t-mobiles insurance provider. I am very disapointed; the internal charger outlet was loose shortly after I recieved it. three months latter it is completely unchargable because the tiny foil like prongs that hold the charger part inplace, broke. this phone is terrible. I wouldn't take it if it were free.Dont waste your money.

I read a lot of reviews about the RAZR phones (from Verizon) and was considering not getting one. It didn't matter that much since the new V3 didn't come in pink, but alas now it does and I have to say, I love this phone! I've had many cell phones in my day, and truly this one isn't that groundbreaking, but I do like how slim it is, the large screen, the navigation capabilities. It works great with (my *pink*) Bluetooth. The free ring tones are excellent - which is something I read a lot of bad reviews on. I'm not used to Verizon, so it is taking a while to get used to their menu, but once I have that all worked out, it will be fine.

Also, I don't find the battery to run as low as other reviewers say. I don't listen to music or do the V cast which of course eats alot of battery time, so maybe that is the difference. I just plug it in to my *pink* car charger every couple of days while I'm driving and have never been below 3 bars.

If you are thinking about getting it, get it. I am not sorry at all - I'm actually still exited about it several weeks later.

Not sure that I like the fact that it's slighlty larger than my old razr, but the upgrades are worth it. The 3G is definitely a faster connection than the old Edge (I use my phone as a data connect for my laptop). Although I haven't actually needed to store anything to the SD card, I like that I have that option, which my old razr did not. I like the razr overall, and decided to get another one instead of some of the other 3G options, and that was my main reason for the phone upgrade in the first place, because I like that I can slide it into my back pocket easily and it doesn't totally stand out.

Design
The MPx220's clamshell form factor is more sleek and svelte than its predecessor's, while it retains the internal antenna design. The large, 176 x 220 screen with a whopping 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the cover. A smaller, full-color LCD screen, which displays pictures, incoming calls, current time, battery life, signal strength, and other information, is located on the outside of the cover. The 1.23-megapixel camera and flash, as well as the speakerphone unit, are also housed on the outside of the cover. A five-way selection button above the number pad allows you to navigate and control the Windows Mobile interface. There are also up/down menu selection buttons on the left side of the device for easy access to basic controls. In addition to a headset jack, a miniSD memory expansion card slot is housed in the unit. The power key and infrared port are housed on the left side of the unit, while a universal charger/USB data port is present on the bottom.

Calling Features
The MPx220 has all the calling features you've come to expect. The built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear. Vibrate modes and custom WAV and MP3 ringtones can be set so you'll know who's calling without having to look at the LCD. The included Pocket Outlook software features a contacts list that is cleverly integrated with the phone's dialing functions. Enhanced voice dialing supports voice-to-digit dialing and name recognition for speedy dialing of contacts. The MPx220's voice recognition software supports voice commands from any user, not just a preprogrammed user's voice. Because the MPx220 is Bluetooth-enabled, wireless headsets can be configured with the phone for total hands-free operation.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
Designed as a complete solution for people who want to bring their office with them, the unit comes with pocket versions of Outlook, Internet Explorer, and MSN Messenger. In addition to keeping track of contacts, Pocket Outlook features integrated calendar and e-mail functions. E-mail support is provided for IMAP and POP3 accounts, as well as for corporate accounts. Microsoft's ActiveSync software keeps the device synced with all of your PC's Outlook information (via USB, Bluetooth, or infrared connection). Users who want Internet connectivity on the road with their laptop or PDA can tap the MPx220's wireless modem capabilities. The unit supports VPN and proxy Internet connections. iTap text entry, a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile e-mail and text messaging users.

A number of handy software tools are bundled with the MPx220, including a voice memo recorder, a calculator, a to-do list, and an alarm clock.

Imaging and Entertainment
The MPx220's powerful 1.23-megapixel still camera also features video with audio capture capability. In addition to a flash, the camera features a self-timer, multi-frame shooting capability, white balance, and color control, as well as a time-stamp option. The video camera's capture capability is only limited by the amount of available memory in the unit. The inclusion of Windows Media on the MPx220 means that you can use the handset as an MP3 and video player, as well. The amount of music and video you can store is only limited by the unit's memory. For gamers, the phone supports Java-based and Windows Mobile game downloads.

The Motorola MPx220 weighs 3.88 ounces and measures 3.93 x 1.89 x .96 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 5.0 hours of digital talk time and up to 200 hours of digital standby time. This phone offers an excellent range of features for an amazing price. The screen quality, music quality(through Windows media player), and other tools and options are quite good. The camera quality is forgettable, and even though it has a built-in-flash, I dont see any point of using the flash - its not powerful enough even for distances of .5-1 Meter.
I've used only Nokia phones before this, but was able to pick up on the nuances of the menu button and options pretty easily. User interface is pretty slick, and the listing of last used programs on top of screen is good. Sync with outlook for calendar is fantastic and very intuitive.
Only crib is that I cannot directly use my MP3 files as ringtones. have to convert them first!
