Assassin's Creed is a third-person stealth game in which the player assumes the role of Altaïr ibn La-Ahad (Arabic for "The Flying One, Son of None"). He is a member of the Hashshashin (The Assassin Brotherhood). Altaïr's objective in the game is to assassinate nine historical figures propagating the Crusades in the year 1191. Built in 1946 by Andrew Ryan, Rapture was designed to be entirely self-supporting, with all of its electricity, food production, water purification and defense systems powered by undersea volcanic openings. A scientific discovery upset the balance of the society. Two scientists studying squid like creatures discovered a species of sea slug that could secrete stem cells. These could be used to enhance one's body, improving physical or mental capabilities, curing diseases and healing injuries. A young entrepreneur named Frank Fontaine invested early on in the research to gain control over the material dubbed "ADAM". It became so sought after in the society that it became the dominant currency of the city. A "full-scale genetic arms race" broke out between Ryan and Fontaine as Fontaine's monopoly on ADAM threatened the current social structure. Ryan eventually won, but everyone in the city was permanently changed. During the war, it was discovered that ADAM could be used to modify one's body, combining technology and mutations to adapt and survive the conflict, but losing their humanity in the process. During the conflict, all natural sources of ADAM were destroyed, which eventually resulted in a major shift in the "ecology" of the city, as all inhabitants had become biologically dependent on ADAM to survive. On December 31, 1958, attacks with biological weapons lead to the downfall of Rapture's society, and the city fell into a state of disrepair.
The game opens in 1960. The player assumes the role of Jack, a passenger on an aircraft that crashes into the middle of the Atlantic Ocean as he reads a letter from home that ominously begins "Dear Jack, would you kindly...", with the rest of the letter obstructed (it is later revealed the whole content of the letter during Andrew Ryan's speech at his office. It says: "To Jack, with love from Mom & Dad. Would you kindly not open until 63° 2° N, 29° 55° W").

It looks like the defeat of the Covenant in the first Halo game was only a victory for a short while. The Covenant has renewed their mission to wipe out all of humanity. The year is 2552. Light travel is now a reality. Earth still exists, but millions of humans now live on habitable planets in other solar systems because of overpopulation. A keystone of humanity’s colonization efforts is the planet Reach, an interstellar naval yard that builds colony ships for civilians and warships for the UNSC’s armed forces and conveniently located near Earth. Reach is also a hub of scientific and military activity.Thirty-two years ago, contact with the outer colony Harvest was lost. A battlegroup sent to investigate was almost completely destroyed. Only one badly damaged ship returned to Reach. Its crew told of a seemingly unstoppable alien warship that had effortlessly annihilated their forces. A group of aliens they eventually came to know as the Covenant. A collective of alien races united in their fanatical religious devotion. Covenant religious elders declared humanity an affront to the gods, and the Covenant warrior caste waged a holy war upon humanity with gruesome diligence.
On Reach, existing SPARTAN-II soldiers are recalled to Reach for further augmentation. The plan: board a Covenant vessel with the improved SPARTAN-IIs and learn the location of the Covenant home world. Two days before the mission begins, Covenant forces strike Reach and annihilate the colony. The Covenant are now on Earth’s doorstep. One ship, the Pillar of
Autumn, escapes with the last SPARTAN-II and makes a blind jump into deep space, hoping to lead the Covenant away from Earth.

Hi! Welcome to GameZone360 - video walkthroughs for xbox360 games. My name is Cleona and at age 31 I'm just beginning to play video games. I wasn't always a video game fan unless the games had something to do with driving. I especially disliked the shooter games. It didn't make sense to me and all you do is kill people.
Anyway, just recently my young cousins introduced me to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. Since then I've been playing video games. I don't know if I'm addicted but I'm surely having fun.
So far I've played the first splinter cell, chaos theory, and double agent. Also I've played other games like gears of war, halo 1,2,3, ghost recon 1, and now I'm on Bioshock.
I prefer to play on easy because I don't have much patience. I'll just leave that to the experts. However, there are times I get stuck and have to go through the daunting tasks of reading through a lot of walkthroughs. So I decided that (I'm not the only one) to start a blog to show videos on video game walkthroughs. I believe it's easier than sifting through text walkthroughs.
These upcoming walkthroughs that I will share with you will be for xbox family, mostly xbox360. So I hope you will find my gamezone360 site very useful that you want to return.
