]]> Hi Everyone! Hope you didn’t forget about me. I’ve been Errrr …. BUSY! lol. Honestly, I have slacked on writing blog posts for a while. But hey, we’re through the Holidays and we survived. So let’s get back to blogging!!

A while ago we held a contest on our Facebook page for a few sheets of Polka Dot Vinyl Wall Decals from our website.

Sharon was our lucky winner and we promptly shipped out the decals to her. What a wonderful surprise it was when she recently emailed us a photo of the decals on her daughter’s wall.

Sharon mixed up several colors of polka-dots and focused on one corner of the bedroom which needed a pop of color. She also incorporated the free bird decals we send out with every order!

Michele gathered her supplies. First she cleaned off the surface of her car and let it dry, of course. She’s got her Right On The Walls high-quality vinyl decal at the ready (lovingly made by one of our talented designers!) and she has a handy applicator tool, too.

Bridal Show Adventure — with David Tutera! is from Right On The Walls

We were all pretty excited to be a part of the action! If you’ve ever been to the Consol Energy Center, you know it’s a magnificent entertainment venue; regional epicenter for athletic events, concerts, and family shows in Western Pennsylvania. (Not to mention the proud home ice of the Penguins’ hockey team!)

But c’mon! We couldn’t wait to meet David Tutera!  

Right Down The Aisle staff arrived early to set up our table and surrounding area. So much to do! So much to show the soon-to-be brides!

Personalized Aisle Runners are so lovely — but also a bit difficult to display sometimes! How should our Dance Floor Decals be placed on our section of floor? And then there are so many colors and designs to show off with our Table Runners!

We’ve all been working on the best way to showcase the rest of our huge and diverse selection of wedding decor items to their best advantage. No doubt the lot of us looked like chickens with our heads cut off preparing for the onslaught of brides!

But… suddenly! THERE HE WAS!

See how happy the staff looks?!

Mr. Tutera was delightful! It was such an honor to meet him and hobnob with such a famous professional in the “biz!”

But really, it was time to get down to “work” — if you can really call chit-chatting with happy and excited brides-to-be about their big day work? Not so much. It’s just way too much fun to show potential brides what Right Down The Aisle can offer them on their wedding day!

Did someone say they wanted a FAIRY TALE wedding? Check out this “ride.” Whoa!

Bridal Show Adventure — with David Tutera! is from Right On The Walls

DIY Laundry Room “Missing Socks” Wall Decal is from Right On The Walls

Here’s what you need:
• Fun “Department of Missing Socks” vinyl wall decal
• Two wall hooks or nails (to hang your mini laundry line)
• Laundry line/rope/string
• 3 or 4 “lonely” un-matched socks
• Clothespins
• Scissors

I purchased the laundry line, hooks and clothespins at a local DOLLAR STORE!

Put up the decal using the easy-to-follow instructions included with your order. If you don’t know the drill, check out our easy wall decal application instructions.

It’s easy as can be! (Seriously, if a klutz like me can do it, anybody can! lol) For the purposes of this demo, I’m putting the decal up on our “test” wall in the ROTW shop.

Position the hooks or nails in your wall just a little below and to the left and right of the decal. Use the directions included. The kind I used have a peel ‘n’ stick backing (and they leave no holes in the wall either) so there’s nothing to it.

After you’ve tied your clothesline or string from hook to hook, all that is left to do is hang up 3 or 4 unmatched socks with some clothespins! Add unmatched socks as needed.

Ta-dah! An easy updated look for your laundry room.
