The Mayan Riviera a super sensual place filled with exotic scenery and hot foods, and you can occasionally see newlyweds getting caught up in the heat. The day after their wedding at The Gran Principe Coba, Aaron and Cheryl most assuredly turned the steam levels up to 11. Milwaukee Wedding Photographer Trisha Faber was there to catch all that newlywed spiciness in a Tulum Trash The Dress session that included Aaron.

Cheryl wasn’t quite sold on the TTD session to begin with, but eventually Trisha talked her into it. Cheryl recounts her decision:

I wanted to wear my dress again and did not know how if it would ruin my dress. I am so glad I changed my mind, after looking at other pictures from trash the dress sessions and thinking of how neat it would be to get those types of pictures I knew that I wanted to do it. I mean when else can you get pictures of you in a wedding dress in the ocean! I am so amazed at how the pictures turned out and know it would have been a mistake if I had not done this session.

We’re glad Cheryl trashed that dress. The photos are great and we’re sure the two of them will never forget heating up the water in Tulum, Mexico.

Nestled away in the Rocky Mountains, Breckenridge has a very special place in the hearts of Mark and Beth. So special in fact that the two decided to elope from Tulsa to share their vows in front of Mother Nature as their witness. With no family or friends around, they helped each other dress, then calmly and lovingly made their way together from their room at One Ski Hill to a large open field with snow capped mountains in the distance.

Denver Wedding Photographer Brian Kraft was there to document the once in a lifetime moment. Training his eye on the couple, while capturing the astounding beauty of the Rockies in the background, for Mark and Beth to never forget a most perfect day, was Brian’s job. What an amazing job to have!

After the ceremony the newly married couple walked around Breckeridge, grabbed a celebratory crêpe from Crêpes à la Cart, allowed Brian to document them some more, then headed back to their room for some cake, and champagne. A couple days later they headed back to Oklahoma to hold a reception for all their family and friends.

Kevin and Karlee decided to go all the way to the Hotel Kura Hulanda on the North end of the island of Curaçao to get married. Brad Ross, a New Jersey Wedding Photographer followed the couple to the small island off the Venezula coast to capture their small wedding that overlooked the Southern Carribean Sea during a dramatic sunset that matched the crystal clear waters.

The following day, Brad took Kevin and Karlee around the island and found some secret spots to get some alone time and document their first full day as man and wife. Enjoy!

Spanish Castle Magic! Jimi Hendrix must have been predicting this wedding between Dan and Rommalee when he wrote that song. This wedding has every nuance of a fairy tale told in the context of a Rock and Roll Life. It has it all; Spain, a white washed castle overlooking the Andalucian countryside, a procession through little Spanish cobblestone streets to the wedding ceremony, vows read out of the Ropework For Yachtsmen book. What more could you ever want?

Mr Phill, a wedding photographer in the UK said “Hell Yes!” to document the whole adventure, and he returned with an epic that spanned three whole blog posts. In that epic, Phill delved deep and not only captured the spirit of Dan and Rommalee’s love for each other, but their love for life. That was also mirrored in the Spanish lifestyle that Phill turned his lens to and returned for us as well.

Congratulations to Jonathan Roberts of Bluephoto Wedding Photography. Jonathan is a wedding photographer in San Luis Obispo, CA, and he is the very first photographer to be featured on the inaugural blog post of Wandering Weddings. We couldn’t be more happy to present his photos.

Jonathan brings us a lovely beach wedding from Jamaica with Jason and Michelle. The wedding was held at the Iberostar Grand Hotel, near Montego Bay and attended by close family and friends in a small ceremony on the beach. The couple snuck away afterwards to get some alone time photos, which gave Jonathan the time to capture the beautiful Jamaican countryside. We hope you enjoy.
