Using a longer lens while photographing this scene, it really compressed it and started to make it look like an illustration or a painting. The clouds almost look fake so that factors into it as well. This photo was taken December 31, 2017 when I toured the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral with my nephew. Much of what you see in this photo is gone. It was so sad to hear that it caught fire today. So much rich history was destroyed.
