You can see the whole list of people whom I aim at sending something to this year on my sendsomething profile.

Further, you can see my outgoing and incoming mail.

Prepare yourself for a ton load of pictures!

This was such a treat for Winter Holidays from Anna in England who has been a great pen pal. The world after all is a small place, This was proofed by yet another fact - Anna's friends know where I am from and told her about my area and they, actually, lived over here for some good time. Thank you, Anna, for this amazing package. I hope you've received my little treat by now!

These envelopes came from my long-term pen-pal, Kilmery, she is such an inspiration! Her letters are always thoughtfully written and the little gifts she includes never fail to cheer me up on a sad rainy day. I have sent her a package just this week. I hope it reaches her safely in a couple of weeks!

Here are two envelopes from my first ever Russian-to-be-pen-pals. The letter at the upper-left corner is actually a birthday card from a member on Postcrossing. I sent them all a reply as well.

This cute letter comes from England. My new pen pal, Sumiko, found me on, what I think is one of the best pen pal ads web site - lettersets.com. I absolutely loved the paper and the tea - in fact - my most favourite one - EARL GREY! YUM I have sent a wee envelope for her this week!

My long-term pen pal, Charles, always includes a postcard or/and a coin in his letters. We've been friends for over 2 years now! His letters bring so much warmth with them and are a delight to read! Thank you!

The letter on the left is from GirlZoot on sendsomething.net Your postcards rock, Melinda! The one at the right top corner is from Sean Duffy who sent me his original photo. I liked the lyrics on the back of it. They were from one of the songs by The Civil Wars whom I happen to like to pieces. Finally the postcard was a treat from a strange, presumably, from IOUMA, Grigori Antonin. He sent me his portrait of the shadow on the sidewalk of Hollywood Boulevard. So neat!

Rachael has been my pen pal for about 2 years. She comes from Australia and has a pen nickname - Ivey - which I find really cute and it suits her personality just fine! I hadn't get anything from her in a long while but finally this letter reached me having come through the rough places of Russia. A reply from me is on the way!

The one and only TARAdactyl sent this terribly amazing envelope some time ago, as you know, I am not particularly good at posting on here. Although, I never stop writing, creating and receiving mail! I am short of the spare time, that's it :/ Thank you so much again! Your envelopes rock! There's something for you in the mailbox, too!

Laura is also one of the people I "met" through the lettersets website! This is her first letter to me. She included some tea bags, a postcard, a Hallmark datebook and a playing card with a great green cover! I wrapped up a package for her! I hope it will reach her soon enough.

Marleen is one of the first pen pals of mine, along with Charles, I guess. She sent me this Birthday card with traditional Dutch ornaments and a candle! Yay Sending her a little package, too!

This one is from a member of sendsomething community - Sophia. Thank you for the card and the letter! There is something coming your way!

This was a nice surprise from a Postcrossing member who sent me this official postcard along with the letter. She told me she liked my profile and wanted to be pen pals. So, here I am sending her a reply back.

This picture of an envelope from the lovely Remi would not upload normally. It goes upside down when it's loaded. Bizarre.. Thank you, Remi, for all the neat cute little things you included! Mail coming!

Peter has founded me on some pen-palling website. We have exchanged a couple of letters and he seems to be a nice lad. Thanks for the letter! Oh, on the right is Michael's letter. He is a participant of sendsomething and makes ace envelopes! Reply is on the way, Mike!

Well, that is all for the letters for now. Here are postcards that I have been getting these days.

It was my 19th Birthday on March 11! Here are some cards I was given.

I'll wrap it up here with coming mail for now! I am sure there is loads of mail coming my way!

Transparent envelope for Sumiko.

One of the recipients of my sendsomething project - GirlFridaySB

This rad orange envelope goes to the lovely Rachael aka Ivey :)

A letter/card for Peter

and one for Mieke, originally, from Postcrossing

A wee package for Remi!

I hope they will be able to read the address :) I hope as long as the postcode is readable, it is okay.

Mail for Sophia

My first letter to Rachael in MI, USA who I found on the lettersets website I hope she likes the card.

I completely forgot about leaving some space for stamps and had to put them one on the other. This goes down to Michael.

Three packages for Hannah, Laura and Marleen

The first ever letter that I anonymously wrote to a girl from a Russian Community of Pen Pal Seekers. No names included :)

I've been babysitting for the Canadian-American family since October 2012. Addison(10) and I spent one whole day doing crafts. We made a handful of envelopes to her friends and relatives and I sent them out the next day.

She promised me to send letters from wherever the life takes her to! Look forward to them like to nothing else! She is really mature for her 10 years and has an attitude! The books she reads are absolutely amazing. I hope she will like the one that I advised her - Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.

I have bought quite a few postcard and sticker sets lately. As well as stamps.. Money just flow away through my hands!

Some more paper for envelopes.

This lovely set consists of cards/envelopes, a notebook, a telephone book and sheets of paper

STAMPS! Who doesn't like a nice set of stamps?! Nobody!

My tape collection

I am quite obsessed with napkins..aren't I?..

Sticker Box

Punches

Stamp sets

Pens

My Mum gave me these flowers for my birthday! Her visit was such a delight!

I love to spend time in Shokoladnitsa coffee-shop. I don't go to the one where I work but to the second one. They treated me with a cute bear on my cappuccino.

New season - new shoes.

They set up flowers on every table at my work. The florists got super duper creative with them!

Oh, well, that is a hell of a post! Sorry if it's bored you to death..not literally! hahah

Leave comments below, write letters and send out postcards! The world needs more mail!

Love,

HOMETOWN

2013-02-07T07:43:00.001+06:00

Hey there, popsicles!
I am currently sat in my Mum's flat and feeling like creating something really nice and peachy!
I have this little project going on the sendsomething.net website which seems to be rather encouraging and reassuring.
The main target of the project is to send a piece of mail to the selected amount of people which, as of now, counts 90 creative individuals, all are participants of sendsomething.net!
I have decided to choose first 5 peeps via random.org and those are:

I do not notify those whom I send something to. I am all up for postal surprises in the mailbox!

Here are the envies I'll be sending out on Saturday. There's also a postcard for Laura and an envelope for Sara B., however, I didn't take pictures as they are lying on my desk in Tyumen..

When will they invent teleportation?? It's 21st century for Goodness Sake!

I am also uploading some of my past outgoings to Laura Ly, Sophia, Kilmery, Charles, Aly and Anna who sent me an AMAZING package, that I'll tell you all about in the next post!

Two postcrossing postcards are going to Israel and Ireland, the other two will head straight to The Netherladnds and Belarus.

I have bought yet some MORE stationary while in Serov: pens, valentines, stickers, envelopes. Sharing some of the things I bought during the winter time as well.

Oh, boy, I adore nice napkins; my collection has grown sooo big!

I got inspired by the card that I stumbled upon on Rosie's blog and wrote this in my notebook. Took me about half an hour and hell of effort..

Two cards from Hallmark:

Seasonal paper:

The sheets in this notebook are ace! I use them to write letters/notes on.

I've been reading these two, plus "Dash and Lily's Book of Dares". Check out the library on my iPad, too!

I am going back to Tyumen on Friday. I am eager to find what I've gotten over the week. Not getting any mail at all makes me feel down and blue..

I hope you are having a fab week!
Stay tuned,

IT IS OFFICIAL!

2013-02-05T15:51:00.003+06:00

Hey, pumpkins!
Great news! I have officially launched my very own website, hence the name up there - www.annablogs.com yay!
I am going to change the template and the layout a bit when I am back in Tyumen.
For now, as promised to my fellow Russian snail mailers, who has recently featured me in a vk.com group, here goes my stash of the stuff I use for creating my mail pieces and bits. Hopefully, you will be getting a close up real soon! :D
I store everything in boxes ( paper, envelopes, tapes, letters, postcards)
It does help me a lot to remain as organised. However, when I switch on to my creativity mode, the boxes are hanging around my desk, couch, chair and floor! hah Isn't it handy?!

Look who is casually sitting on the top of the mail pyramid!

Pen Alert!

The Incoming mail is stored over here!

These are some of the New Year/Christmas greeting cards I've given to my folks and friends.

I got these note cards in Accessorize and I love them to pieces.

My overly excessive collection of stamps: worth of 2000 rubles.

That'd be all for now but I am likely to upload some more pictures of the outgoing mail shortly.

Thanks for taking your time to read this!

Have a delightful day,

Annie B x

Hello pumpkins!

2013-01-30T23:48:00.001+06:00

Hey, folks!
Finally, I have got some spare time to devote to my one and only blog!
I have been working on moving my blog to my own domain.
However, It seems to be quite problematic, you see. I have established a new template and a layout. All the further changes are likely to happen later on. I cannot approve the payment which is sad..
None of my credit cards works! Damn it.

As for now, please, remain patient as the good times are coming and there will be many changes and very many new mail adventures, meaning, more posts!

I never stopped sending mail. On the contrary, my postcards collection is growing fast and I've been making more pen pal, too!
I have recently sent out a bunch of letters/postcards to all of my pen pals.
There are still few letters lying on my desk and I will answer shortly to those who are waiting: Anna and Hannah from England, Kilmery in Canada and Michaela in the states, along with 20 randomly chosen people from Sendsomething.net

So long now,

I am sorry for being such a horrible blogger but I'll pay you off with benefits! :))

See you in the mailbox!

Lv,
Annie B.

Packages and their inside and, in fact, it is my 30th post!

2012-05-30T17:16:00.002+06:00

Long time no see ;)
I know, I know I wrote a post yesterday and if you still haven't read it, what on earth are you waiting for?!
Well, talking business, I've received a package from my amazing new pen pal - Hannah. I've been a very lazy butt lately (oops..) and have completely forgotten to mail something peachy for her!
I am making it up to her and sending a nice package tomorrow!
My packages, as a rule, consist of same things. As, I always include a napkin or two, some teabags and blank sheets. Sometimes, I put a washi-tape and handmade envelopes.
So, this time my package is a bumper crop! haha Not really, but you'll see it yourself.
Here is Hannah's envie:

She sent me 4 self produced badges, her business card and 20 illustrations in that little booklet on the right. She is a fabulous drawer! She definitely has talent! Thank you, Hannah, so much! If you are reading this, just stop here, cause the next thing I am posting is the package you are likely to get in June ;)

When I pack things into an envelope, I usually come up with theme colours and stickers.

Then I think of what that person, I am sending the package for, would thoroughly enjoy to receive. As I don't know Hannah real well, I've come up with a bunch of different stuff. This is what I call The 'Get to know me' Package :D

Here are four teabags, a napkin, a card with an envelope ( I got it in Accessorize), a tape, four flags and some buttons and decorations.

Then goes the other half of the package which consists of a Russian flag, an old badge of Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, a Mango business card, a 2012 calendar, two self-made envelopes, a ten-rubles note, a train ticket, several blank sheets of paper and a vintage envelope.

This is pretty much it. I will put a 50-rubles stamp and mail the package off. The previous one was for my friend in San Francisco and it reached her in just 12 days! Isn't that fantastic?! Hopefully, today's package will get to its recipient swiftly as well!

I was walking back home from uni and took a picture of my favourite tree in the city. It remains green till the very end of October and it is the last tree to fall off its leaves, too!

Enjoy your day,
Annie B. x

Week 21

2012-05-30T00:53:00.002+06:00

Hello lovely you!

I am late with the week report.. AGAIN! Oh, well. I have been such a loafer these days.

It feels like summer has not only come to Tyumen but also to my head. I have so much planned for the next three months that I hardly believe I will stick to my plan.. I never do! haha

My friend is coming to visit me this or next week and She is likely to stay here till the end of June and She and I will go back home together! Isn't that exciting? :)

As usual, the previous week wasn't lucky for mail. I've only been getting postcards from Postcrossing these weeks..

It's sad but what can I do?!

At busy times, I cannot afford to write to all the people who send me stuff but at times like now, I just mail postcards which is gradually becoming boring. It takes me so much time to write a postcard, but the ones I've been getting ( most of them) say just simple 'Greetings from blah blah' or sender's name, age, place of living.

It is not what the postcard is about, is it? I think it is about sharing something special, a message from afar..

Anyways, the weather in Tyumen is well lush but too hot and stifling for the winter lover that is me.

Isn't this HOT?!

This picture is a good stereotype breaker. It clearly shows you that it's not always cold in Siberia :D

Actually, I've received next 6 postcards and one letter today. All came here via Postcrossing and the letter is from my pen pal Kilmery. The cards are from China, Canada, The Netherlands; Malaysia, Austria and Taiwan.

Kilmery sent me a penny as an artifact as they are no longer being released in Canada.

I received this last week. They are also from Postcrossing fellows from Ukraine, the USA, Finland, the UK, Poland and Belarus.

It was so nice to hear from my long term pan pal Alyssa. She is genuinely amazing!

As you see, I don't get much mail and It is quite cheerless. Hopefully, next week will bring some happiness to my mail box!

Postcards to Postcrossing fellows from Belarus x 2, Estonia, The Netherlands x 2, China, Finland x 2, Poland and Lithuania.

Also, three letters to Caddi, Kathleen from Sendsomething, Ria M. and Gregory from Postcrossing who wished to get something else apart from a postcard too.

Two weeks ago I was on random search on sendsomething.net and came across one amazing gal from Serbia! We are music soul mates! haha On that juncture, I've recorded her a CD of Indie songs. I hope she will like it!

I was musing on the balcony the other day and took these pics.

I have been writing some replies today and I guess I will write a few more and go to bed then.

I hope you lot are having a fun weekend and the weather is pleasant.

Here is the question of the week to you:

Do you keep things that people send you in their envelopes or you have a special box where all the received goodies are being carefully kept?

Yours,

Annie B. xx

Accidental Burst of Creativity

2012-05-20T00:14:00.000+06:00

Aloha lovelies,
Today was a good day. It was good in terms of first, procrastination, second, creativity.
Well, truth be told, I never liked art classes and I am hell of a painter. Apparently, I should never repeat such experiments again. Ever.
I am not as satisfied with what I have done but I'd decided to share it with you guys before I even started.
I have been browsing blogs about mail art and snail mail today and I've come across some really nice people.
So, as a result, I have done this envelope and included several things in it. I hope the recipient will enjoy it!
I was working on this one for one hour and a half and I enjoyed it so much! It goes to a cool chick from Canada that is Laura. Make sure to check her blog and to send her some awesomeness!

This one goes to the awesome Sue! She sent me a fantastic booklet about wolves a very long time ago.. I am very sorry for not getting back to you sooner! (Ever since I've fallen in love with Glee TV show, the name SUE is associated with Sue Sylvester haha) Some goodies are also included.

This one is very arbitrary. I have found this Riley gal via sendsomething random search and she lives in Alaska! How brill is that?!

In case I have not shared this with you - here is my super old-fashioned closet. I put some pics from shopping catalogues on the front part. And yes, I still do have Christmas lights on.

Inside my little old closet:

Once again, my stash of almost everything I use for my snail mail. Some others are in drawers.

The last for today is the picture of my awesome toothbrush. It is called DREAM for fortune seekers.

How awesome is that?! hahaha The one I had before this one was called LOVE for those who love. Ah..

Alright, It is time I did some homework. I have a loooot to catch up!
Have a lovely weekend,
Annie B. xx

Week 20

2012-05-18T23:00:00.000+06:00

It's been a long time coming!

Ah! Hello you lot :)

This month has been a very tough one for me.

Prepare yourself for a very long post filled with many pictures!

To start off, I went on a little holiday in the beginning of May and came back to a great pile of postcards and one letter on May 10th. Ever since I have been catching up with the studies and my coursepaper. Truth be told - I don't particularly enjoy university with its homeworks, attendance, rules, etc. I wish I could just do English and nothing else for the rest of my life on my own with a diploma in my hands as well HA!

No, I am not complaining but seriously, the system of Russian education is nowhere near perfect. It has a lot of drawbacks. I am sure I will somehow manage to do two more years and leave this place for good.

I am happy I have nice people around me - if not them I would have left university and got a job.

Well, in other news,

I have got myself an iPhone 4s!! Awww wow and wow, I love it as much as I love mail! hahaha maybe even more?!

While chilling with my mum and my best friend in Serov (my hometown) I bought these beauties - navy blue moccasins - check them out:

I also got two t-shirts and two skirts. While wandering around shops I found this funny tee. My love to Pepperoni Pizza is beyond real :D

My friend and I went out almost every day and I genuinely loved every second of it!

PEPPERONI, YOU ARE THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Here is my posh cat giving her most(not really haha) attractive look. Yeah babe x

This is the view from my mum's little flat :)

My other cat - Marussia. She is very russian indeed and lives with my grands as of now.

I am a child at heart - I am still in love with Kinder Surprise <3

On the 9th of May, my friend, my friend's friend and I went out for a coffee :)

You might have figured out by now my massive addiction to the gem that is INSTAGRAM!

I do love eating apples too. My favourites are Fuji apples. Unfortunately, they didn't have them in our local supermarket :(

Ah! I have recently made friends with the babe that is Ashley from the city of San Fran and I decided to share some of the mail happiness with her. Hopefully, it reaches her soon.

I love doing online sessions. I am an active blogtv member and this is a lil shot from my latest LIVE show.

Yesterday I attended a meeting that held place at our administrative department and everything is so fancy there!

MAIL MAIL MAIL

I have had this new bag for my incoming mail. It's small and rather handy :)

It is time I showed you what i have gotten in my mail box in these several weeks.

A note,a coin and a postcard from Taiwan via Postcrossing.

A letter, a sticker and a postcard from Anita via Postcrossing Forum.

I was also lucky to get this amazing envelope filled with two very funny quirky cards, two cute stickers and a note from Anna via sendsomething.

The amazing Kathleen from sendsomething sent me a napkin,a card and a nice letter in this fab envelope. I wonder where she's got it from.

My brill Arizonian(?) pen pal Misha sent me a lovely letter and her own story called 'Flowers for Grandpa'. She is very talented, indeed!

Steffi,my new pan pal from Germany, sent me this amazing letter and a napkin along with some stickers quite a while ago. I do apologies for not posting it earlier!

My long term pen pal from Tennessee, Charles sent me a postcard showing the city of El Paso and a nice letter as usual :)

The brill pen pal of mine from Canada that is Kilmery, sent me a page from their local newspaper and I absolutely loved it! It smells different from ours and I was looking it over for 30 minutes hahaha It is very interesting :) Many thanks, pal!

I received an envelope from my best friend Polly! She sent me a napkin, stickers, three sheets of paper and a teabag along with a nice letter via her new project. Check it out on sendsomething :) She is amazing x

This mysterious postcard and some stamps came here all the way from the Netherlands from a stranger and I still have not figured out who that person is but I will be sending a reply soon.

The box I got from my friends for Christmas is getting full isn't it?

I know I don't post much on here but I get more mail than I post. Usually they are single postcard which is not very exciting as letters and packages but as one knows a postcard may bring more delight than any massive package if it is done neatly with love :)

Here are some postcards I have received for the last weeks.

I love this black and white postcard from the Netherlands. The pictures was in a 1960 issue of Vogue!

OUTGOING

I only had time to make these envelopes and I am likely to send them out precisely next week!

Earlier this week I have finally caught up with my Postcrossing postcards and as a result I have sent 20 postcards in a row! :O

And lastly, here is my mail box #30! Apparently, the happiest mail box in the neighbourhood! hahahaha

Ah, dear. I hope this post has not been very boring and I hope you enjoyed reading it too!

woop woop for all mail lovers for being so devoted to the art of mail! xx

Yours,

Annie B. x X xxxx

Week 16

2012-04-22T02:42:00.005+06:00

Hello beauties! It's been rather a tough week for me. Luckily, the coursepaper I have been working on for the past 2 months is finished as of now and our studies supervisor is mugging us off with the day of the defense. It was supposed to be today but she called me two hours before the settled time and cancelled it! We were all rage! :DIn other news, it was a good week in terms of post. I received 12 postcards and one letter from my Canadian pen pal, Kilmery. She sent me a letter and bits of the national Canadian newspaper. I didn't have the time to read it yet but I will tomorrow. I presume it is rather interesting. The postcards came here from very many different places:
Hong Kong, the USA from Sarala via Sendsomething, Germany, one more from the states and Ecuador! The postcard ID is 989! How cool that is,huh? :D

Earlier this week I'd also received postcards from Hungary, Switzerland, Romania and Vermont(usa) from Gary as a thank you postcard via Postcrossing.

The postcard with a cat on it came here from Taiwan, the one with the marshmallows is from the Netherlands and the last one is from there as well and shows Friesland flag!

Thank you very much for sending me postcards and letters, they make me rather happy and inspire like anything else :)
OUTGOING
Well, as I've been behind my correspondence for a while now, there've been a lot to reply to and I did a lot of writing and creating stuff.

Today I've been feeling creative and my creativity mode has definitely been turned on! :D
I sat trying to make a vintage envelope but ended up making 12 of them! Look at these beauties! Aren't they lush? hahaha

The back part is not usual as well. I love this line in the middle :) It looks like a little ribbon tied up around the envelope :) Ahh

I had a lovely day out with the girls today. We went to dinner at a local cozy cafe and then went to the park, been at the top of the Ferris Wheel! The view was fantastic! Also, me and Dilya went to a ride called 'Pirate'
It was rather scary to go to but I so much enjoyed it. You sit in a boat which starts to go back and forth, higher and higher and the highest it swings is semicircle! I presume I had very much adrenalin thrown into my blood :D hahaha
Anyways, this post has gotten too long, hasn't it? The last thing for today, on my way home I dropped in a shop to buy something to tea and got these chocolate sticks with almond. They are all gone by now :(

I hope you've had a lovely week. Remain positive and write comments and stuff.
Annie xx

P.S. I have a little writing blog. I do not do anything major. Just post some poetry of mine.
Have a look if you have the time and tell me what you think :) xx

Postcards

2012-04-14T10:43:00.003+06:00

Hey peeps,

Would somebody be interested in buying postcards you might see in my previous post?

I've just found out that, for instance, in the USA a postcard costs around $1. AH woah. that is quite expensive. Here the cost varies from 8 to 15 rubles that is more or less half a dollar!

The delivery would cost you 3$. If somebody(not necessarily from the states) is interested, please, write a comment below.

Meanwhile, I am answering to this massive pile of letters!

I'll keep you posted ;)

Week 15

2012-04-11T15:47:00.006+06:00

Hello!

Ah I know I know the week is not over but I am desperate to share with you what I've received so far. I ordered some stuff from two Russian postal shops the previous week and the goodies arrived today!

Take a look at the first one. There are retro-craft envelopes(they also gave me +4 extra envelopes! How nice of them!) and 5 peach envelopes and 5 orange ones :)

The second one contains 35 postcards! They are absolutely lush! The quality is very nice and the colours are bright.

Even though I still have some good 25 postcards from my previous order, I could not help myself but to buy these beauties!

I have got some mail as well. Not as much as I hoped to get. Anyway, Here is a gorgeous postcard from Singapore sent via Postcrossing.

Another one is from Belarus and is well nice too.

And the last one came here from Taiwan and I presume this is the third postcard of Taipei 101 in my collection.

Due to my studies and the coursework, I can't send out lots of mail but I will definitely sort it out this weekend(hopefully,ha!) I have also bought more stamps as promised with Olympic Symbols of the leopard, hare and the bear.

All the rest have already been put on the envelopes and You are likely to see them in my next post.

Ah, I noticed all the peeps love tapes. Here is my little stash..

I have forgotten to take a picture of the others. I will post it later.

I will try to keep you guys posted and if you enjoy reading my posts, do write a comment below.

Love,

Annie B. xx

Hello mates :)

I know it has been ages since I posted on here.

I am still interested in snail mail and I am quite an addict.

Along with my studies I send my postcards via postcrossing.com and I do not forget my lovely pen pals! I am sorry I am bits behind of my mailings and some great pile of letters-to-be-replied is lying on my desk and yet patiently waiting for me.

I have taken pictures of almost everything(not all though) I have been getting from beautiful people from all over the world and I will likely to upload them tomorrow as Friday has finally come!

I am making two envelopes to The Missive Maven and Rin Dawson as I write.

I hope you lot are doing well. Much love from Siberia!

aww I know it's been ages since I spoke to you..

Well, Hello friends!

I am so far behind my mailing but I do my best to catch up!

I've replied to most of my pen pals and sent 21 postcrossing cards + some new extra something's to people on sendsomething.net. I promise I will post the letters and postcards I've got for these 4-5 months. There are really nice ones.

Today, I've received a lovely Christmas card from snailmailfan (Kilmery)

and I feel so sorry for not replying to her previous letter! I am now!plus, I've bought a Cristmas gift for her!

I've been crazy busy with my studies at university and now when I've written 5 papers and have 2 more left, I have some free time and it is such a relief..

My third term is soon over. I am going home for holidays on December 23d.

On December 22nd I am organizing a Christmas party at university.

We've invited 3 of our teachers and I've bought presents for them.

I love Christmas shopping. So far I've spent nearly $150 and it's not even December yet! Ha

I have two good friends in my group whom I've bought something as well.

I am really excited for the Christmas and New Year! I hope to get many cards and presents:D

Does it feel like Christmas where you are?

It definitely does over here. Snow is falling all around me.. (:

It is somewhat cold-ish, around -20. But we are told to have a severe winter, so I expect it to be -40 haha

I think that's all now, I'd better go and finish up my writing.

Remain unique.

Love,

Annie x

Hello Dear Friends,

How are you doing these days?

It is really cold outside below 31 degrees C.

pretty crazy?aha?

I did not received anything since the 14th of February, but today HURRAY!

I got 2 cards and 1 letter today.

Here it goes:

1) First short letter from Luci(probably,Her great-great Grandma was a Russian queen,I hope We'll learn more about her Russian ancestors by our correspondence:

2) A lovely card and three nature-ish stamps from Romania:

3) A short note+blue envelope and a nice postcard from The Netherlands:

So, Nothing much is going on with me these days. I am on my second term;study a lot, sleep not enough. As usual.

I am a bit upset that not many people write me nowadays, 2010 was much happier. I hope everything will fix up soon.

Only these stuff make me happy and when I get something I feel myself like singing..

Postally yours,

Annie

P.S. while writing this,I've decided to show you all my cards and letters;check it out.

Do you have a big collection?
