Welcome fellow bibliophiles. The next meeting of the WHS Book Club will be Wednesday, November 9th at 3:45 in the Media Center classroom.
This month's theme is "Exploitation and Escape." Some suggested books include Sold by Patricia McCormick, the Chosen One by Carol Lynch Williams, and Room by Ellen Donoghue, which are on display in the media center and available for check out.

I have to admit that I am doing some estimates because I so often start reading, then take a short break and then go back to my book.
I think I am generally reading about 4 hours (240 minutes) a day. Maybe it's because Wando students do read, and I want to try to connect them with some good books.
Reading is very personal, often solitary, but I have connected with many students over the years through books and my life is different because of that interaction.
