Sergio Rossi - Sneakers. A tribute to Arte Povera.

Famous Italian show brand Sergio Rossi was istableshed in the 1950 in San Maouro Pascoli. With it’s excellent wormanship, the Sergio Rossi shoe has always been chosen by refined customers who want extremely high quality Italian footwear.

Through the design of their new sneaker collection, Sergio Rossi has reaffirmed their link with the art world, presenting a tribute to one of the avant-garde art movements of the early 1970s: Arte Povera.

The Collection and Design Director Angelo Ruggeri cleverly mixes the brand's signature sleek lines with influences from artists such as Alighiero Boetti, who focused on both the artwork and its constituent elements, drawing attention to time, the work of the artist and the materials used.

The result is a celebration of Italian shoemaking excellence, from the upper and nine-thread stitching "narrating" the history of iconic Sergio Rossi shoes, to the unique details, such as the gold zip embedded by hand and the fine skins used, like crocodile.

The new Sergio Rossi sneaker have been unveiled to the world on April 10th at Milan Design Week, in a special Made To Order edition featuring three different models. A select number of these will then be available in Sergio Rossi boutiques worldwide from October and, for a limited time only, it will be possible to register at www.sergiorossi.com to be one of lucky few able to exclusively pre-order a pair.

Nearly two weeks ago I visited Georgias' most important and influential broadcaster - Rustavi2. I've been invited by tv-program "Another midday". We've talked about myself, career, motherhood and fashion, for sure. TV onlookers were able to watch us live.

Obsession of the month - fur bags

Fur on my shoulders? no, this time I prefer fur in my hands - I mean fluffy clutches and handbags for sure. I have already enjoyed one in pale pink color. My super puffy Hache clutch is optional for daytime and evening looks at the same time. In this collage Phillip Lim fur clutch is my absolute favorite.

So it's time to invest in fluffy-puffy bags this season.

Art of the Trench presentation in Kiev

As I have already informed you, last spring I participated in Burberry's super exiting project Art of the Trench. This online project has traveled to many different countries all over the world, and created an incredibly beautiful visual history of Burberry trench. After Chicago, Shanghai and many other countries this time Burberry celebrated Art of the Trench event in the capital of Ukraine - Kiev and united guests from six different Eastern European countries, incuding: Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan an Russia. I had the pleasure for representing my homeland - Georgia.
Our host for the event in Kiev was founder of Buro 24/7, digital media director of TSUM Moscow and just one of the brightest face of street fashion - Miroslava Duma, she hosted wonderful private dinner after the presentation as well.

Power dressing

And this is what I really admire - men's clothings fabrics, straight lines, strong silhouettes and grey tones. As it seems designers have a lot to suggest to the people like me this season. I think powerful dressing have not been so nice before, starting with Dries Van Noten's feather embellished coat up to Stella McCartney's pinstriped jackets.

Me for Burberry - Art of the Trench

As I have already posted we have our Burberry in Tbilisi, the flagship store was open last spring and because of that Tbilisi is taking place in all the fashion activities that Burberry arranges periodically. In this picture I'm shot with my daughter for Burberry's super exiting project Art of the Trench. As Burberry describes: "Art of the Trench is a living document of the trench coat and the people who wear it.The project is collaboration between you, Burberry and some of the world's leading image makers". So it was honor for me to participate in such an amazing project. Photos are shot by super talented fashion photographer from London - Jon Cardwell. Hes work has been featured in magazines such as: Vogue, ELLE an so on. Commercial clients incude: Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Viktoria Bekham Denim, Kenzo and so on.
Oh, I forgot to mention that in this picture I'm still pregnant, as I remember 8 months.

Yes, I'm in the mood for pink this season! Maybe it is true that super girlish clothes and Barbie girl colors are not for me, but powder pink has totally won my heart. Designers from everyones favorite Miuccia Prada up to Simone Rocha have suggested lots of variations of pink in their A/W-2013/14 collections.
My wishlist starts with powder pink oversized coat for the moment...

As I have promised I'm continuing sharing with you my favorite trends for A/W 2013. In this selection you can enjoy two biggest trends of the season, I mean turtlenecks and off shoulder dresses. I'm definitely going to wear both of them. To be honest turtlenecks are my all the time favorites and they have truly special place in my wardrobe.

I suppose for those occasions when you want to dress to impress bare shoulders are just perfect, as they seem super sexy and sophisticated at the same time and that's very important because sexiness without sophistication is just ugly.

When September comes...

So, I'm back... Already mother of three! and from now on I'll share with you my loves and hates for A/W 2013/14 season. My very first post is dedicated to school mood - very nostalgic and desired for me.

As my motherland Georgia is post Soviet Union country first September was associated to the beginning of learning year for a long time. Nowadays as times have changed schools are not beginning on the first of September but anyway this month brings school mood to me and makes me feel as a school girl - getting ready to explore something new and exiting. In this post you can have a glance on those stunning items that remind me school years so much. So, as I have already mentioned in my previous posts I'm waiting my third baby, but as it seems he's too lazy and is not hurrying up coming out... But mommy is hurrying up, mommy feels too hot, too big, too sweet addict! Mommy needs chic summer outfits, sun, sea, breeze, bikinis and caftans!
But to talk seriously I'll truly miss my belly... Every single time I gave the birth to my kids I felt same, I think it's kind of only mommy+baby language without words but with lots of knocks, especially during night dreams;))
So, every moment, every minute he has to come out, I did my 9 months and now I'm really impatiently waiting to gave the birth to new life and start realizing some my personal new ideas!
I'm really happy I was active during this period, as possible. I did several interesting collaborations and contributions, some photo and TV shoots - even in my 8'th month with my super big baby bump.
So, I'll be back soon and keep you posted...

I'm already in love with pleasant gifts from Necessary Clothing as their ivory "Geek" tank is the most comfortable clothing for me at the moment. Its sheer fabric and sleeveless look with wide arm holes makes me feel super light and cool during hot summer days. Asian mood . . .

I can't imagine what can be more comfortable to wear during summer time than easy-breezy Asian silhouettes, including Kimono of course! And for this summer, as it seems, that's trendy what's comfy as designers from Miucia Prada up to Haider Ackermann or Dries Van Noten made strong accents on Asian mood in their collections.
Etro floral printed kimono coat with cut-out shoulders is my fave one (featured in this post), but unfortunately it's out of stock as e-shops have already announced summer sales, but you can find similar one at luisaviaroma.com or bird printed one in more affordable price at zara.com

Obsession of the month - Benedetta Bruzziches

Last time I have noticed that it's hard to find things that really fascinate me, but quilted bags by young Italian designer - Benedetta Bruziches have totally won my heart! Her creations are result of very special talent and at the same time they are output of inspiration born after non-stop travelling around the world. Young Benedetta has won several fashion design contests and nowadays she lives and works in Rome. Just few days ago Benedette presented her creations in "Talents Store" that is an exclusive collaboration between Fidenza Village, one of the Chic Outlet shopping Villages in Europe and Vogue Italia. This project is personally supported by Vogue Italy's editor in chief - Franca Sozzani and creates unique platform for promising young designers to showcase and retail their collections.

Can't wait to become the owner of Benedetta Bruziches's just amazing handbags!

No matter, here I'm going to share with you some more additional details of that day... In the middle of April street style photographer, the one behind NobodyKnowsMarc.com (contributor of Vogue.it Grazia.it Refinery29.com) visited Tbilisi and suggested me to shoot for his newest project, where he is going to feature people from the world of fashion and art. As he explained I'll be the first hero of upcoming project, that will be focused on the fashion stuff and the living places. At the same time we did shots for e-shop Styligion.com where I'll be featured with the short interview. As soon as it appears online I'll let you know my dear readers to enjoy it.

Have you already heard anything about Absolutely Fabulous fashion and vintage fair? Lovely girls - Alina Tanasa and Diana Enciu are project and PR communications managers behind Ablosutely Fabulous Magazine and Fabulous PR events who have already organized similar kind of events several times before. As usually events are dedicated to fashion, shopping, fun and take place in the capital of Romania - Bucharest. This time girls celebrate so called "Sisters Edition" and thankfully they featured me with my just amazing sister Likuna. Our sketch is created by truly talented fashion illustrator - Mariana Marche. Mentioned event will take place in Hotel Ambasador on 18/19 of may.

My picks of the month

What can be more exiting for a girl than doing new purchases? I think only Vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries can be compared! So, because it's too late (I love updating my blog at night) for shameless calories, I'll share with you my picks of the month: lets start with Kenzo SS2013 resort collection that has totally won my heart! Inspired by the jungles of Asia, Kenzo's vibrant collection is home to some of the seasons fiercest leopard prints. These cotton-blend intarsia sweater and leopard-jacquard pants are an eye-catching examples of the label's casual-cool spirit. Than on the list comes Valentino's iconic "Rockstud" pumps that are real favorites of the fashion pack, I vote for fuchsia one embellished with the label's signature pale-gold pyramid studs. As a fond of statement clutches I can't go further without a new eye-catching cluth, so multi-colored cotton clutch from Mawi with neon yellow fastenings and green crystals is my new beloved finding!

Maybe you have already noticed that I'm very conservative while choosing new sunglasses, but I think I truly need this Prada shades... Regarding necklaces it's all about chains for me, especially gold-toned, "Love" bracelet-bangles are also among my favorites.

I'm finishing my list with Smythson notebook for Supermum's, it means a lot for me!;)

BURBERRY Guests attend Met Gala 2013

On sixth of the May Burberry hosted a table at the Metropolitan Museum of Art 2013 Costume Institute Gala in New York.

The annual event marks the launch of this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Exhibition Punk: Chaos to Couture and is on view from May 9 through August 14, 2013.

Exhibition will examine punk’s impact on high fashion from the movement’s birth in the 1970s through its continuing influence today.

Burberry guests at the event included Sienna Miller, Tom Sturridge, Chelsea Clinton, Mark Mezvinsky, Michelle Dockery, Cara Delevingne and Mario Testino.

My favorite looks from Burberry guest list include:

British actress Sienna Miller in sugar white crepe open-back plunging dress with crystal and stud embellishments matched with studded cropped biker jacket, clutch bag and shoes all from Burberry of course and British model and face of Burberry - Cara Delevingne who wore studded crepe, black, plunge-neck column dress, her stunning makeup was the result of Burberry beauty team as well. As part of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition, Burberry is showcasing a studded leather jacket, lace dress and studded leather shoes specially designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey.

To celebrate the exhibition, Burberry has also launched an exclusive capsule collection inspired by the Burberry ProrsumSpring/Summer 2011 season and exclusive to the Burberry Soho and East 57^th Street stores in New York.

Sneak peep inside my bag

I think it is not less interesting what is inside the girl's bag than in her wardrobe. So, I have decided to have a sneak peep inside my bag with you and find out what is going there. The first what you always find in my bag are sunglasses, Ray-Ban Clubmasters of course - perfect for every situation, than you will come across with cosmetic box, full with bronzing powder and other beauty stuff like that. I want to emphasize that for the moment my favorite facial powder is Guerlain Four Season - I'm truly in love with it, because of it's fantastic color palette! As a passionate instagramer my iphone is always with me as well, the diary for notes - which I found much more intimate and private than doing notes in my iphone (for the moment my beloved diary is "La Parisienne", designed by timeless style and beauty icon Ines De La Fressange). And at least there is always place in my bag for perfume like Estee Lauder Pleasures that I use almost ten years.

Burberry Flagship store opening in Tbilisi

Iconic British brand Burberry, which is headquartered in London, was founded in 1856.

Last week Burberry hosted the event to celebrate the opening of its very first store in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. The evening event at the Burberry store, that is located beyond the Freedom Square (exactly under the Municipal building of Tbilisi) was attended nearly by 150 guests. I was also honored to attend this truly amazing event and celebrate the enter of this timeless brand to the Georgian market. The interior of the store reflects the global design concept developed by super talented - Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey using British materials throughout. Flat screen video walls showcasing innovative Burberry content are controlled by the brand's global headquarters in London.

Guests of the evening were welcomed by sparkling glass of champagne and enjoyed live DJ set played by British, Burberry Acuostic musican - Matthew Whitehouse.

For the moment newly opened shop features the clothing lines for men and women only, I hope we will soon be able to shop Burberry children's wear in Tbilisi, cause as I have observed it's especially popular among Georgian parents.
