This is my first time on safari and my first visit to sub-Saharan Africa and I already know it will be a completely different experience to any trip I’ve ever taken. My real world wildlife photography experience is fairly limited too, so I’m expecting to learn a lot in this sense as well.

So here's the new OM-D, the D (in case you didn't guess) it was digital. After a long hiatus it succeeds the much loved OM4, so in a fit of extra nomenclature it is also designated the E-M5. It may look like a film camera but retro is so fashionable that it's modern, so maybe this year's black is old school?

Yesterday (Thursday 2nd February 2012) Pentax announced the launch of the Pentax K-01, a mirrorless interchangeable lens digital camera that joins the ever-popular Pentax K series. As well as supporting all the Pentax K mount lenses and D-SLR accessories, the K-01 also supports the dedicated XS lenses and comes packaged with an incredibly slim (1cm thick) 40mm F2.8 XS lens to match its design.
