Will Electricity Replace Petrol?

2012-06-17T22:03:00.000-07:00

Futuristic cars that run on electricity
.
If there is one problem which has driven man to his feet, it is global warming. Everyone across the globe is trying to do something orthe other to tackle this daunting problem. One of the major contributors of climate change and global warming is emissions from car exhausts. Companies are trying hard to come up with cars that run on resources other than gasoline or petrol. Discussed below are some futuristic cars that run on electricity.
.
.
.
1. Mazda KAAN

Futuristic Electric Car Concept
In case you want to take part in E1 races and race your way to victory, then this is the car for you. The brainchild of 6 designers, the Mazda KAAN concept does not emit harmful gases even if it crosses the 250-mph mark, thanks to the sub-level electro conductive polymer that powers it.

.
.
2. Eco-Friendly Futuristic Electrical Concept Car

Designed by Duncan Campbell, this futuristic car resembles the look of a human eye. It has four motors, one each under the wheels to avoid gas emissions. This car has a sleek design coupled with beautiful orange windows and transparent sides that offer a great view while you drive.

.
.
3. Electric and Futuristic Hyperion Concept Car

Named Hyperion, this vehicle is the conceptualization of designer Marco Aurelio Galan Henriquez. It measures 4.5x2.5x1.6 and uses lithium-ion batteries to power itself. To add to the green factor, the car is made up of lightweight materialsthat can take it up to 200 mph.

.
.
4. HXO An Efficient Futuristic Car

One look at this car will halt you in your tracks. The credit for building it goes to Wang Yanchao and Zhang Zhizhen. The car traps solar energy and converts it into electrical energy with the aid of oxygen and ionized hydrogen from water. Its spherical wheels also have amazing storage abilities, creating more space and convenience.

.
.
5. Koenigsegg Quant Concept

This four-seater uses solar energyand Flow Accumulator Energy Storage (FAES) Technology to power itself. Advancements in the technology will allow the car to be charged completely in 20 minutes, guaranteeing a range of 500 km. It has a thin film photovoltaic coating and is highly ergonomic to drive. It also has two electric AC Induction motors and is very lightweight because of the carbon fiber monotube.

.
.
6. DeZir Electric Car From Renault

Renault is ready to come with a big bang, armoured with its DeZir model. The car is supposed to run on an electric motor that will be skillfully adjusted at a position so as to optimize weightdistribution over both the wheels. The lithium-ion battery which will boast a power of 24kWh will be situated behind the seat. The DeZir will run up to a range of 160 km. A distinct body made of Kevlar and tubular steel frame are two aspects that are sure to make it stand out.

.
.
7. Nissan iV concept electric car

Come year 2035 and this is the car that all of us be waiting for. The creation of Mazda designers from Nissan, the iV concept car claims to use lightweight materials that are even lighter than glass. The vehicle uses solar generators with bio-batteries to power it. The best feature is that 60% of the consumed energy canbe recovered, thanks to the high capacity supercapacitors of the future generation.

.
.
8. Touch down future car concept

Designed by Guo Ke, this beauty can be powered either by solar or wind energy. Its wide tires have electric motors which power the vehicle. The car also has a hydraulic chair lift device. Having attractive front and rear lights, the Touch down will take your breath away as it travels at lighting speed. It has 6 high capacity batteries that can be removed individually for charging.

.
.
9. Oasis Electric Vehicle By Shane Korthius

If you love adventure and exploration, then this is the vehicle for you. It will take you through dusty roads with no harmful gas emissions and noise pollution. Equipped with a light aluminum chassis, a ground clearance of 28 inches, a fiberglass shell and plenty of energy to ride a wonderful noiseless, less screechy drive in deserts and rustic roads, Oasis is powered by lithium-ion batteries.

.
.
10. Electric Car By Jan Godlewski

A contrast to the conventional electric car models, what makes this car a class apart from the ones mentioned above is its carriage-like look with a bulky body and thin, big wheels. Nothing much can be said about its efficiency for the moment, butassuming that efficiency would be a necessity rather than an option in future vehicles, it is the bulky yet royal look that will make it stand out.

Randeep Hooda’s Open Challenge To Sunny Leone

2012-06-17T22:00:00.002-07:00

Read Carefully
Back from locations in Sri Lanka shooting for the
garma-garam new Pooja Bhatt erotic thriller Jism
2 Randeep Hooda is hell bent on proving that the
Bhatt protege Emraan Hashmi doesn't have a
monopoly over erotic activities in the films
produced by the Bhatts. Randeep, we hear, is giving his all-and we mean ALL-to the love-
making scenes with Sunny Leone in Jism 2.

Says a source from the location, "For Randeep it's
very simple logic, really. He is a method actor.
When he played a sozzled cop in Jannat 2 he was
so much into the bottle that he had to kick the addiction at the end of the film. Now when he's
got scorching love scenes with a lovemaking
expert Sunny Leone, Randeep has pulled out all
stops to make the sex scenes look authentic."
Apparently when Randeep was asked how he'd
cope with Ms Leone who is an expert in love- making on camera, Randeep retorted, "I can teach
her a trick or two." Randeep refutes the raunchy
remark and confesses, "All I said was, 'She's not
the only expert'. And I maintain that. I am
certainly making every effort to be as convincing
in Jism 2 as I was in Jannat 2." In Jism 2, Randeep plays a character named Kabir,
the same name was given to John Abraham in
Jism. Randeep plays an expert lover, a first-rate
shooter and, curiously a Cello player. Quite a lethal
blend.
Explains Randeep, "Quite often you find these ruthless assassins have an artistic side to them.
So my super-talented director Pooja Bhatt
decided that my character kills and plays the cello
in his free time." Randeep of course took Cello
lessons and plays the instrument well enough to
keep his Jism 2 team in Goa regaled. Says Randeep, "Yes, I can play the cello and I play it
here for those who care to hear me."
Nowadays after the resounding response to his
performance in Jannat 2 Randeep gets a lot of
attention. Says the actor philosophically, "While I
accept all the praise gratefully and gleefully I can't allow it to go to my head. I didn't allow failure to
break my heart. So I wouldn't allow success to
bloat my head. I can't hold on to the praise I'm
getting for Jannat 2. It will bog me down. I
believe in an ancient fable about a seaside
monastery where the monks created the most beautiful figures with sand and pebbles and the
moment one figure was made they destroyed it
and moved on to another. I too need to re-invent
my skills constantly in an unbroken stream."
For the role of the angst-laden cop in Jannat 2
Randeep worked double hard on his dialogues. "It was Jean-Luc Godard who said there are two
performances by every screen actor. One that the
audiences see and the other that they hear. When
I finished what I had to do on screen I went back
to my character and gave his emotions a voice."
For now it would be only edgy gritty characters for Randeep. "I tried the light comic stuff in films
like Love Khichdi and Mere Khwabon Mein Jo
Aaye. It didn't work. When my films were run
down to the ground, why should I not tap my
forte when I finally on my feet again? Don't
worry, there's plenty of angst in here. "

HUMAN AND ROBOTS|Visions of the Future:MUST SEE:AMAZING

2012-06-16T21:19:00.003-07:00

The future is not written yet and who knows weather robots are dangerous or not. What is for sure is that humans , being the curious beings, will develop new advanced generations of robots .
It happens so that people and robots go together in this life side by side , in some spheres of life they are even interchangeableand who knows into what this opposition human and Robots will translate. Robots and humans that live and prosper together Or robots realize they dont need as that much.
:
:
For now it is up to out fantasy to express what we think will happen in human-robot relations in the future . This is a collection of 3d computer generated images of various creative 3d artists that shows their vision. The level of detail of these computer graphics shows that our technology will lead us to the point where these fantastic photographs will be the reality.

:
Who will win in this game of chess? When there is the opposition of the mechanical creature and the human intellect it is not easyto predict the outcome of the game. You can make books, but you will never be sure about the results, they are unpredictable.
:

:
In the process of the humming work robots can be of a great use for people. With them less time would be spend for the most complicated tasks and the crunch times would take place not so often. The only question that is left to find such a robot.
:

:
I am not sure that it is more pleasant to work in the company of robots, but it definitely has certain advantages. One of the main is the high efficiency of the process of work, furthermore not a lot of time is spent for the idle talks, spreading silly rumors and gossiping.
:

:
This robot looks like a housekeeper who takes care of everything around. In its dutiesare household activities and it copes with all the everyday duties without any difficulties in a short time and without procrastinations.
:

:
Some time ago, when I was a human being I was dreaming about the perennial youth, thethoughts that were so peculiar for every woman. My dreams turned into life immediately after my death and I have obtained the desired eternity: now Iam a robot.
:

:
When you touch gently the lips of your beloved your heart begins to beat speedily, the mind is hazed with pleasant feelings and you fly away. These minutes can fly not so that you notice, but they are so sweet and inimitable.
:

:
Love is a curious thing, one never knows when it happens so that you will be overtaken with this feeling and who will be the matter of your sleepless nights. It can be a bonny girl from the next door, a handsomeboy from the night-club or even a cyber creature.

HUMAN BEINGS CAN BACKUP THEIR BRAINS

2012-06-16T21:17:00.002-07:00

A man has claimed that people will be able to back up a human brain in the next 20 years .
If what he is saying is true, it means that every memory and experience you ever had will not be lost and kept secured. With a bit ofdecent programming it might even be possible to have an IT copy of yourself or your brain live on the Internet forever.
According to the Daily Mail , Raymond Kurzweil, who has done a lot of work creating things like voice recognition technology, told guests at a future talk eventin Vienna, Austria, that the human brain backup was already technically possible.
He should know what he is talking about because when he was 15, Kurzweil created a programme that could recreate music in the style of the great composers, which earned him a visit to the White House and an interview with President Lyndon Johnson. Later he created a machine for his mate Stevie Wonder that could read written speechfor the blind.
:
:
Raymond Kurzweil
Kurzweil said that within the next 20 years we will have thousands of nanobot computer machines in our blood that will heal our bodies, improve our performance, and even be able to back up all the contents of our brains, just as you backup your files on a computer.
That means they would back up every thought, every experience, everything that makes us an individual.
He told the throng that while it all might sound far-fetched but in the early 1980s, people thought his predictions for the emergence of the world wide web by the middle of the 1990s was crazy too.
Kurzweil said that it happened and right on the schedule he predicted. Just imagine!
According to this statement I think it can lead to another cloning called brain cloning.
So, whose knowledge do you want in your brain? LO

Jumping Spider & Tigers Fight for a Pool

Jumping Spider.
.
Jumping spiders live all around us. In fact, there are more than 4000 different species of jumpers.
The jumping spider can jump 20 to 60 or even 75-80 times the length of their body. If you were just five feet (1.5 m) tall and could jump like that, you could leap over the Buddha statue in Japan which is 328 ft (110 m) tall (one of the world¡¯s tallest statues).
When a jumping spider is moving from place to place, and especially just before it jumps, it tethers a filament ofsilk to whatever it is standing on. Should it fall for one reason or another,it climbs back up the silk tether.
All jumpers have eight eyes, and two of the eyes seem enormous for such a little body. Jumpers have a superb vision which is better than any other kind of spider. With his eight eyes a jumper can see in almost every direction at once. When it is darkest, you are looking into its retina and the spider is looking straight at you.
.

.
Jumping spiders are also very famous for their curiosity because jumpers in contrast to other arachnids are seemingly interested in whatever approaches them. If approached by a human hand, instead of running away tosafe place as most spiders do, jumpers will usually leap and turn to face the hand. Further approach may result in the spider jumping backwards while still eyeing the hand. The curious little creature will even raise its forelimbs and ¡°hold its ground¡±.
.

.
Their big eyes are so sharp, they can see things clearly from as far away as 20 times the length of the spider¡¯s body. No wonder, scientists who study jumping spiders say they¡¯re some of nature¡¯s best stalkers ¨C as good as lions and tigers. They usually see their prey before their prey sees them!

Most Iconic Bollywood Dresses ever!

2012-06-15T18:21:00.001-07:00

Most Iconic Bollywood Dresses ever!

MUMTAZ IN BRAHMACHARI:

You must have wondered where you've seen that cute sari Priyanka Chopra has worn in the "Uff" song from Teri Meri Kahani? Nothing however comes close to the aura of Mumtaz in the original. With that button cute orange sari draped around her petite figure Mumtaz epitomizes the grace that became actresses of that era.

MADHUBALA IN MUGHAL-E-AZAM:

The yardstick of Indian beauty to this day,Madhubala's made the "anarkali" a fashion staple for Indian women across ages.Swaying & blushing to the evergreen "Jab Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya" Madhubala's beauty & radiance makes the heavily embroidered anarkali seem even prettier. Like Audrey Hepburn made the LBD popular for all women around the world,no other Bollywood clothing has quite an impact as THE ANARKALI.

RAJ KAPOOR IN SHREE 420:

The Indian Showman, Raj Kapoor's moth eaten hat & jacket with that stick is a stark contrast to some of the Bollywood clothings on this list. Probably it's that Chaplinesque look, maybe the simplicity of the jacket,or maybe because Raj Kapoor is Raj Kapoor the image still remains fresh.

SADHANA IN WAQT:

Setting the standards for the future Yash Raj heroines,Sadhana's tight fitting churidaars were just as big a rage as her Audrey Hepburn inspired fringe cut. Usually just a white churidaar might look bland, but on Sadhana it's dazzling.

HELEN IN TEESRI MANZIL:

"Oh Haseena Zulfon Wali" remains as popular as it was when it came out decades ago. Bollywood's golden girl, all of Helen's costumes were a spectacle. Helen's flamboyant personality wrapped with that red Spanish flamenco dress is an image that refuses too fade away into black.Or red.

SHARMILA TAGORE IN AN EVENING IN PARIS:

Four decades have gone by & almost every top actress has now made her bikini appearance(including Tagore's soon to be bahu-Kareena)but Sharmila Tagore's famous appearance in the two piece remains the most significant & memorable of all. It's not just the hotness quotient but it's that sultry sexiness+sweet innocence+stunning face of Tagore's face that makes the bikini stand out.

AMITABH BACHCHAN IN YAARANA:

The name Amitabh Bachchan just conjures up so many images. Is it that thundering baritone, that distinct humility & humbleness, that manly, handsome face, that height, that megastar status or those unparalleled acting chops. All of these ingredients mix together to provide one smashing Big B appearance in a light suit. Innovative & dazzling Big B's suit brings light into your life.

ZEENAT AMAN IN SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM:

The hottest bombshell in Bollywood history,Zeenie baby is a heavenly vision as an apsara. That gorgeous white embroidered dress is cherished to this day & deserves every bit of the credit & more.

SRIDEVI IN MR.INDIA:

Plain blue chiffon sari=borinnggg.......But Plain blue chiffon sar+Sridevi=molten lava hotness!!!!!!!!!The queen bee of the 80s the one thing from Mr.India that remains etched in our mind other than Mogambo is the blue chiffon sari. And Sridevi.Sigh...No other actress has the ability to look so erotic while being covered from head to toe.

REKHA IN UMRAO JAAN:

Called Hindi Cinema's Greta Garbo by many it's this mystic & ethereal quality of Rekha that makes her already stunning beauty look mind blowing. The often preferred "mujra look" from Umrao Jaan has been replicated by several actresses.

MADHURI DIXIT IN HUM AAPKE HAIN KOUN!:

Yes THE DIVA HERSELF! In a purple coloured embroidered sari nevertheless. A la dixit's purple sari became as big a rage in wedding circles as the film itself. Out of a career of so many memorable appearances, this appearance of Madhuri remains etched as a reminder of her evergreen appeal. Didi agar behena aise dikhegi tho dewar pagla hi jayenga na???

DIMPLE KAPADIA IN BOBBY:

Recently donned by Prachi Desai as a homage,Dimple Kapadia's polka dotted top with that sexy skirt makes up for one helluva saucy retro appearance. The dress also became a huge rage among wide eyed teenage gals of the 70s.

URMILA MATONDKAR IN RANGEELA:

Until this came all the actresses preferred either saris or badly designed skirts & garish 80s costumes. After this storm, everything went chic & the rest is history. Urmila Matondkar in these hot Manish Malhotra tops & skirt became every man's desire & every girl's envy.

MANDAKINI IN RAM TERI GANGA MAILLI:

Mandakini hasn't managed to stay in the limelight after the 80s. This picture of her under a fountain in a transparent white sari however makes sure that we remember her all right. Crude, vulgar, distasteful it might be,but it's iconic to the capital T.

AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN IN BUNTY AUR BABLI:

Though she wasn't the lead actress in this fun Yash Raj film,Ash along with her pa-in-law & hubby dearest makes up the most iconic image of the new millenium. Completely stealing the show as she always does Ash lets down her hair & her guarded glamour to come up with a saucy, sexy yet quintessential Indian look. Watching the most beautiful woman in the world in a red choli is a dream for any man!

KAREENA KAPOOR IN JAB WE MET:

Aside from her remarkable performance as the talkative Geet Kareena also made long t-shirts with baggy kurtas a popular night & day wear for young Indian girls. Talk, talk, talk, even the awesome dress seemed to talk through the screen.

SLAMAN KHAN IN DABANGG:

Sallu Bhai's flying shirt is the most talented piece of garment in the whole list. That along with those shades, trim moustache, flamboyant swagger makes it a totally kickass appearance!
