1. It is another hot story when a person was found dead after allegedly falling down from the MACC office (this time it is the Jalan Cocrane Office) today. The deceased was stated by the media as in the process of helping the MACC in sorting out corruption cases of some of Customs Dept. office.

2. Previously, the same incident of the late Teoh Beng Hock is shocking the entire nation and yet the matter is still under scrutiny of the Royal Commission established by the government. We hope that the matter may be dissolved as soon as possible in order to contain further speculation. I'm not going to elaborate nor touch the matter from the content of the case since we may call it subjudice (in legal term).

3. What is the lesson learnt we may derived from this incident (or accident)? Once may be a coincidence but how about twice? Thus, better we learn something from the past in order to prevent the matter to occur for the third times in the future.

4. In my humble point of view, there are few points which we may be thinking of. First, locationwise speaking, the MACC office which meant for investigating purpose may be reviewed to be placed on the ground floor at the most... or at least the investigation procedures must be held in a well secured room without any windows perhaps.

5. Two, the security of the person being interrogated must be well observed by MACC Officer and that person shall not be left alone or unattended until he/she is already outside the MACC's compound. If any person is within the area of our house, does his/her safety lies in the hand of the host?

6. Three, may be it is a high time for MACC to invest on CCTV in and surround the investigating room/area. And the connection of this CCTV shall not merely connected internally, but also to the Police control room for instance so that the safety of the procedure will not only being observed by MACC but also other credible agencies.This approach I think may create innovation and synergy between related government's agencies.

7. All of these efforts are proposed in order to help MACC to gain back its' credibility from the public point of view. MACC has done much enough to upbring its credibility and all these incidents may tarnish such goodwill and again it claims longer time to rebuild such image.

30.3.2010 ~ Good Day Datuk Jimmy!

I heard about the Shoe Festival to be held by Ministry of Tourism this morning. For sure all ladies (and some men) looking forward to get to the showcase. But for me, the announcement suddenly pop my mind about our Honr. Datuk Jimmy Choo - our imminent icon in shoe industry - the father founder of the internationally well known Jimmy Choo brand.

For those who are unaware, that the brand of Jimmie Choo is in fact no more a proprietary of Datuk Jimmy Choo. It has been that way for the past 10 years. Just few days ago, DJC spoke out his mind to get the Government's assistance to bid for the brand to become his again after the current owner intends to place the brand into free market. My question is why must DJC go for it?

In one media interview, DJC was expressed his confidence in getting back the branding since he claimed that the brand is associated much with him. May be the fact is true but the amount to be put on table is not a penny or two - may be it is a 6 or 7 or more zeros in count! and if the government's money may be part of the amount, I think a well appropriate base of decision is a need so that the issue will not be a controversial soon.

If this posting reaches DJC, as a Malaysian who love Malaysia, I like to put forward my humble idea for DJC's attention. Just leave the owner of the Famous Jimmy Shoe company's bid and build a new empire of yours! Why? As far as DJC is concern, he is a well known public as a founder of famous JC label at the first place. If DJC is going to build up his own new brand, what do you think will happen to the existing JC? (in common sense way of thinking). There will be a great competition in the industry and this scenario will provide better choice for the customer.

But as a consumer, which product will you choose? A shoe with the founder's name or a shoe with the founder himself in the company? In sense of quality control, I think the founder must be working extra hard not only to make sure the business is making profit but to make sure his name is not be tarnished.... make sense huh?

So, if the government still keen to provide financial assistance to DJC in reclaiming the ownership of existing JC Company, I propose that the money is be invested to DJC to build his own new brand so that we need not to do, what I think in my common ordinary thinking, is wasting resources.

29.3.2011 ~ Lean Training Institution?

1. I've been in a training surrounding for approximately 6 weeks by the end of this week. Though throughout few years of service, most tasks given to me are mingling around event management, policy formulation and strategic management but training is actually nearer to my heart. May be it is due to my educational background in which I may claim that I was an active person in societal activity during my university time.

2. Training is important to mould our skill, knowledge but most important is enculcate positive attitude within ourself. But today, I like to share about "positive attitude" as per stated before. Who determine the value of positive and how far the magnitude of "positiveness" connotes?

3. Training institution is supposed to provide an overall ambiance of training to all participants. The big question is to what extend? I like the way of Biro Tatanegara (BTN) conducting its training by treating everybody as equal. Why I said so? It is because, whoever you are and what designation you have under this sun, once you are BTN's course participant, you have to observe all rules and regulations provided by the organizer. You have to get into line, you have to be on time, you have to wait for other collegues before enjoying your meal and you have to take care of you food residue by yourselves! No exemption - even for the Prime Minister (I'd have a chance to have a look to a photo showing Tun Mahathir himself have to wash his plate during his day attending course in BTN - and he was then the Prime Minister!).

4. I have few chances to attend to the BTN courses and I have to go through all above routines as a participant. Eventually, I also get a chance to attend to a course in one of training centre but surprisingly the set up of the ambiance is so what i claimed as "unequal in nature". Again - Why I said so? First, different level of participant will be given different kind of accomodation. Second, different kind of participant will be given different segment/area in dining hall and even different kind of food selection. Third, different kind of participant have to observe their own behavior in the presence of that another kind of participant. Fourth, different level of participant will be attended to by the organizer faster compared to another different level of participant.

5. In training point of view, what do you expect will such kind of participant (or accurately human resource) produced by such training institution? I am not a training nor HR expert but the answer need not a doctrate to be able to give. In my humble opinion, I think the organization in which engaging the institution at first place will be at the end of the day, be having a boss in which will underestimates his/her sub-ord, a worker who play fool to his bosses, tendency of less of commonsense in giving instruction and maybe lack a sense of respect to others regardless of file and rank.

6. Therefore, it is time for those who in charge of training really (and I mean really really) looking into this perspective so that we are not only producing an officer with good knowledge and skills but also sound positive attitude to himself, to others and to his organization.

20.3.2011 ~ Another Old Story

1. I heard a complaint in Pulau Tuba, Langkawi from Berita Utama TV3 today saying that the local villagers need better waste management to be put in place there. The municipality said that the service of waste collection in not provided to the village because it is out of the municipality operational area. In order for the Municipality to provide such service, the villagers shall be ready to pay for it. In the other hand, the villagers urge the municipality to provide the service since it absence affect directly Langkawi's tourism industry. The media reported that the volume of foreign incomers to the place is decreasing year to year.

2. I beg to differ wheater by providing such service to the village, the whole scenario will be changed dramatically? May be it is but may be it is not. From my humble point of view, the issue is actually another branch of symptom from an unrecognised root problem in which we still fail to take action upon it. The really big Q is what is really the problem here? What is actually need to be changed? Is it the collection mechanism? ... The enforcement? the media? ...or the attitude of villagers?

3. I think the Malaysian nowadays are too much answering the question of "what the others may provide to the benefit of me" rather than answering the question of "what is my contribution which may lead to the betterment of others including me". In short, it is an attitude problem which we need to concentrate on compared to the problems of the mechanism. By a strong internal attitude of man, then only whatever mechanism in place may be functionalize well. For example, I like the Japanese value of punctuality. It is a common attitude of Japanese to be punctual until be late is nowadays like a myth among them. Also the Singaporean in the sense of cleanliness of road until littering from car is alike a sin commited if you commit it. So why can't the same values be enculcated into our heart? We are the same flesh human being at the end of the day, aren't we?

4. As for me, this matter should be a combined effort from the authority and the villagers as well. The villagers cannot over relying to the authority too much in doing this effort but the authority in another place, should also think some assistance to make this effort more successful. I always rememeber a Malay proverb saying that 1 finger pointing to other, the rest 4 will be pointing back to you! - It 's not others, but you~

17.3.2011 ~ Not From The Face Value Merely Please~

1. I just read Tun M's post in his blog on iron ore. You may surf at http://chedet.co.cc In a nutshell, Tun urged relevant authority body to take necessary action on this issue. According to Tun, there is something wrong when we sell our material in raw while we need those material for our usage. At least, we should put some value add to the material before selling it so we may increase the price of such material.

2. But that it not the subject I like to highlight here. What really caught my attention is how Tun derived such issue. So, from where do you think? It is from an ADVERTISEMENT of a Malaysian paper!

3. This is a quality of great observant in which I wish that I may be able to do so. As a common reader of a newspaper or mag, which part of the newspaper or mag will provide you a significant and good information? As for me (may be only me...), it is news column or article in the paper - NOT the advertisement! And Tun proves me wrong. I am really fond of Tun's ability to make observation on phenomena even from a piece of advertisement - and such observation is a significant one.

4. May be it is an attribute of commoners to look things from its face value. We operationalize a piece of advertisement (maybe) as an invitation to treat per se, and such paradigm closed our mind to look that ad from different angles of perspectives. To cut it short, may be we used to look something from it face value - as what my QA's lecterur told me - we look a door as a door, a table as a table and a car as a car. We never look at it as an opportunity to develop ourselves. And I do believe her now~ Thanks you Mdm. Ho!

5. So, let us open our mind and heart more than previously, so that we may be able to look things not only from its face value, but more important, how far we can derive to a better solution for our tomorrow!

1.3.2011 ~ Research Methodology

Today is the 2nd week of Research Methodology topic before the examination next week. RM is a good subject indeed~ so we may learn how to construct a structured flow of identifying and presenting problem as well as solution empirically.

Lots of concept and flow to be understood within these 2 weeks. The biggest problem of this subject is, for me, the identification of problem statement. Besides, some theory of the subject also been used interchangeably... May be I don't have any research background during my university's life as well as working. But, take it positively man! U can do it....

2 weeks has passed, so the next 4 will be waiting for you in future. Wish me all the best and hope for all the best!

22.2.2011 ~ 1st day @ QA

Today is the 1st day of Quantitative Analysis course a.k.a the QA in INTAN. The session began at 10 am after the registration. There are 109 participants and being devided into 10 smaller group which consist of 9 to 12 members each group. Among the prticipants are my PTD batch mate... Nice to gather back in this premis after last time in 2004 during our DPA course...

The day was filled with ice breaking activities and course briefing by the organizer. The 1st day session ended by 5pm. It was a great day for me as I am seated in group 9 with all 9 friendly other friends. Throughout the program today, all of them were very supportive and sporting... So all activities can be carried out easily.

After the class ended at 5pm, I took an opportunity to go to KL to buy a bus ticket. Supprisingly, there was only a bus which sell the ticket that I want. Without any choice I bought the ticket though it is more expensive than I used to buy before. As long as I manage to get the ticket I'll buy it!

21.2.2011~The Game of Mind!

A week after back from New Delhi, it is the time for me to attend a course on Quantitative Analysis. The course is a pre requisite for a HLP student to attend to and the most important to pass all exams throughout the study. A little bit nervous since the last time I being a student was 10 years ago... (Not to mention the DPA course).

I travelled from Kuantan by bus, departed by 11.30am and arrived at Titiwangsa train station by 2.45pm. Then I took the RM1.10 monorail to Bukit Nanas station. Continued walking for 5 min and took another RM2.30 train from Dang Wangi station to Kelana Jaya which is the last station in the route. Then I took taxi and it charged me RM15 to INTAN Bukit Kiara. I safely arrived by 4.15pm.

Alhamdulillah the journey was great and not so much tribulance to face along the trip. Just wondering that it is still hard to get public transport around Bkt Kiara area. Luckily I bought some ration for dinner since the organiser will only start providing us our meal from tomorrow breakfast...

Settled with the matter today, tomorrow the game of the mind shall begin. Pray to Allah the Almighty so He will bestow upon me His blessing and help for me to success in this challange... Amin...

18.2.2011 ~ Road to Delhi Final Chapter

This post maybe already outdated, but since I've promise to conclude the lesson learnt throughout my trip to New Delhi, so just bare with this post... I try to make it less typo presented but to share pictures instead. Few lesson learnt from the journey, inter alia, ....~

(1) be THANKFUL - we are living in a harmony, peaceful and beautiful country. I'm not saying that their country is chaotic and not pretty, but be a Malaysian outside Malaysia make me feel wonderful of being Malaysian!

(2) be PATIENCE - look at other people as well. We know that we are busy but so as others! If we lose this attributes, the system become paralys~maybe somebody may conduct research on this hypothesis!

(3) be ON TIME - time is of an essence in everything we did. Your punctuality will become your demarkation from other points of view.

8.2.2011 ~ Road To Delhi 2 B Contd...

Due to no free internet connection made available at the Clarion Collection Hotel a.k.a. The Quttab Hotel in Delhi, it is sad to announce that I've to delay further story regarding the matter in regular basis. Insya Allah, I'll make a summary and share my personal view about New Delhi once I'm back to Malaysia. Sorry for the inconveniences!

7.2.2011 ~ The Road To Delhi Part 3

Good morning everybody! It was a refreshing chill morning when I woke up. It is a time to take some picture of the hotel where I’m residing since last night am unable to do that because it already late. After took a good shower and a superb shake, I walked to the conference room at Basement C of the hotel… and the condition is really basement like literally. Another new environment to be compromise is the quality of air which in my opinion is a heavy-kind-of-dust in the air, or maybe it was me who not yet cope with the environment. Luckily it was not me when another friend of mine said that is the normal scenario in Delhi. So I have to cope with it for the next few days.

dah lah salah eja nama aku nih~ ish...

The first day session was really fun by getting know each participants. There are 11 of us only from 6 participating countries including India as a host country. The session started by 10.00am and ended by 5.00pm. When the session was done for the day, I took the opportunity to have a look at the Delhi town. So my first destination was the nearest shopping mall situated at the Press Enclave Road that are the DSL Palace and Select Citywalk Mall.

I walked about an hour to reach the place (which is about 25 minutes by car) just to observe the living kind of Delhi. Surprisingly, in my humble opinion the situation is a little bit under my first impression about Delhi. Some notes about it:-

(a) The traffic really is in chaotic situation – everyone is honking everybody even though at the red light!

(b) The sidewalk is not well maintained – lots of construction site left unattended and make it dangerous to public who use the path.

(c) There are so many unsheltered people make a living by the roadside – they just make the side of the road as their house and a playground to their children.

(d) The garbage system need to be improved – the municipality should address this matter (that’s what can I say in short… so disgusting!)

Surprisingly, the scenery was completely different once you get into the shopping mall area. Those 2 malls are something like our Suria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur. I took my dinner with my friend Mr.Zamri at the food court. They used coupon system to cater their services. As for tonight, I tried a chiken Arayes and orange juice at the Zaitoon Arabian Food. The food is halal and it cost me about INR189. One more thing, if in Malaysia we are being charged 6% of service tax when dining at certain restaurant, here in India they are taxing us on each item with different rate of taxes between 12% - 25%! Just imagine that my coupon balance was only INR31 out of INR230 at the beginning~

After mingling around the mall, we took a kind-a-thai-tut-tut vehicle to get back to the hotel. As usual, riding a public transport in Delhi will be a heart pounding moment to you. The travel from the mall to the hotel is INR50 each person.

So, I think that enough for now. I have to stop first to settle a presentation to be presented tomorrow. Thanks for reading!

6.2.2011 ~ A Road To Delhi Part 2

After a long 7 hours waiting at the Golden Lounge, finally it was time to boarding. The MH190 flight to Delhi was scheduled at 6.50pm and departed at Gate C24. The cabin crews were friendly enough to assist me and make the trip a pleasant one. No wonder they always win the best cabin crew for few years back. Keep it up MAS! It was in the plane when I knew that the exact time of flight to Delhi is 4 hours 30 minutes and not 3 hours, duh!

This is the Mee Jawa which I said earlier!

The 4-hour journey however felt not a long time since the in flight services were superb such as they provide the Malaysian signature of favorite sate besides an in-flight entertainment console. Throughout the journey, I managed to watch 2 films that were Megamind and 127 hours.

We arrived at Indra Ghandi International Airport of New Delhi at 9.20pm local time. It was actually approximately 12.00am in Malaysia since New Delhi’s time is 3-hour late from us in Malaysia. The airport is beautiful and traditionally decorated related to Indian auspice. By the way, the temperature in Delhi at the time of arrival was 21 degree celcius.

During waiting for luggage pick up, it was cross in my mind that I’d like to try to get to the Clarion Collection Hotel using the public transport. Happen to be I couldn’t find any signage of my name in the line of call person at the exit door of the airport. I tried to get a prepaid taxi service and they charged me INR250 for the route. The hotel is well known as Quttab Hotel among the local so that I was facing difficulties when I mentioning the Clarion Collection Hotel.

Another valueless experience I get tonight is that the drivers in Delhi are driving extremely crazy! They keep honking each other, following other cars so near and bit the traffic light such as that action is admissible among the local. Throughout the heart-pounding-25-minutes of taxi trip I managed to arrive at the Clarion Collection Hotel. Alhamdulillah….

I’ve checked in by 10.30pm in a Deluxe Room ~ not bad lah…. The ambience is soothing and the facilities are good. There is a bad news however… they do not provide wi-fi or internet connection on complimentary basis in the room! So means that the effort to update the blog is getting tougher in Delhi…. Adus! There are 3 packages available i.e. INR138 for 24hours, INR538+ for 12hours and INR750+ for 24hours connection. So, I think I’ve to recalculate and form a strategic plan in order to get the connection in the few days ahead.

Ok la geng~ it’s already 12.25am New Delhi time. Have to get some sleep before attending a conference tomorrow (even there are no info at all about tomorrow program either from the organizer or the hotel… WTF!). Until then, thank you for reading!

6.2.2011 ~ Road To Delhi Part 1

Settle with Asyfa being sent to Chini, now it's time to continue living. Today I'm off to Delhi for a conference on Right to Information organized by Commonwealth Secretariat. The conference will be held from 7th to 12th February 2011. Thousands of thanks to my DG of PCB for sending me to this conference so it will be an eye and heart opener for me to gain experiences from other participants from various countries.

As early as 9.00am, I was off to Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport in Kuantan to take off. The flight was schedule at 10.15am. While waiting for the departure, my wife and me took our breakfast together at the airport cafe. Thanks Sayang for sending me today! I love u sooo much~ Don't worry, I will not find any meenachi during my days in Delhi soon... heheheh~

I arrived at the KLIA by 11am - still lots of times to waste since the flight to Delhi will only take place by 6.50pm. Though I've been in KLIA quite a number of times, but this is the first time I being in the international route. So I've to pass the customs gate and mingling around the lobby which is differ from the domestic route. To buy time, I sat back at the Golden Lounge and settled as many works as I could there.

4.2.2011 ~ It Is The Time!

It is the time to sent Asyfa to kampung so she'll be taken care of by our parent safely and soundly... Just hope she will be ok here. Feel relief but in the same time a little bit nervous and worry. Almaklumlah, this is the first time for her and for us as well even she is our second child though. We've put the effort and let's Allah do the rest... it's time to tawakkal to Him the Almighty.

Off Asyfa's story for the time being... Let's talk about my jakun side plak. Never been to any money changer before to make money exchange, so today I made it - jotted down as my history as well lah -to get some of rupee currency before depart to India end of this week.

Just to end my note tonite, it is a little bit disappointment from the bottom of my heart after read about some dissatisfaction of some person about the rescuing mission of our citizen done by our embassy in Egypt. But I'm sure the connotations were made by those personal either due to unstabil state of emotion or with prejudice mind. As far as I'm concern, this mission is not ordinary mission such as conducting a holiday visit or organizing seminar. This one really need courage from within, lots of strategic decision to be make and involving international relationship in due course. OF COURSE it is not as easy as merely do rubbish talking! As for myself, I would like to congratulate all staff and officer in charge of such mission regardless of your scheme~ You are truly Malaysian and only 1st class minded Malaysia will do the same like you did!

3.2.2011 ~ Spent your time with your beloved ones!

Spending a quality time with family members nowadays is metaphorically said "like a part time job" for most of people in Malaysia (not sure if this is already a global sindrome). Everybody is so busy with their work until they totally forget about the main purpose they seeking for a job at the first place. Unlike what Jim Ron said in one of his speech "...working hard on your job will make living but working hard in your life will make fortune. It jus a matter of your choice~"

As for me, I think the scenario is also the same. It has been a quite long time ago since I spent some quality time with my beloved wife and kiddos outside. Suddenly the word of Jim Ron pop out of my mind. Regardless of my fatigueness and beezeeness, I put it all aside and asked them to join me to our family day out. Not much indeed... just about 3+ hours and fulfill some of their favors. Not much at all but the satisfaction projected from within themselves really make all these efforts worthy.

Kemeriahan sambutan Hari Raya Cina dapat dirasakan seawal pagi dengan kelengangan kenderaan di atas jalan raya. Petang ini ramai rakan-rakan berbangsa Cina akan bersama-sama sanak saudara dalam jamuan makan besar.... ber'yi sang' dll!

Esok dan lusa adalah sambutan Hari Raya Cina di Malaysia. Peluang ini turut disambut oleh warga bukan Cina untuk balik kampung. Apa pun sambutan perayaan tersebut, kalau dah jatuh dekat dengan weekend, maka akan bergumbiralah satu negara tersebut. 1Malaysia la katakan.....

Apa pun keadaannya, dikesempatan ini saya nak ucapkan Selamat Menyambut Tahun Baru Cina - Gong Xi Fa Cai - Xin Ke Kuai Le (erk.... betul ker?) kepada semua rakan dan taulan yang menyambutnya. Kepada rakan-rakan yang pulang ke kampung, berhati-hati di jalan raya dan pandulah dengan cermat. Usah terburu-buru dan pastikan mata dan badan sentiasa cargas!

1.2.2011 ~ World Dilemma; They Need to Shake!

Dah masuk bulan kedua dalam tahun 2011 dah pun~ Tinggal lebih kurang 5 hari saja untuk selesaikan kerja-kerja tertangguh sebelum saya keluar meninggalkan pejabat untuk seketika. Tolak jumlah cuti CNY & hujung minggu hanya tinggal esok saja! Wah~

Awal bulan Februari ni pun dimulai dengan beberapa peristiwa yang tidak berapa positif. Di luar negara, tunjuk perasaan di Mesir telah bertukar sesuatu yang mengerikan. Rakyat mereka dan rakyat kita di sana menjadi mangsa. Jentera pentadbiran lumpuh sama sekali..... Rakyat mereka menghendaki Presiden Hosni Mubarak meletak jawatan melalui cara tunjuk perasaan yang menyebabkan kerosakan harta benda. Sesuatu yang turut sukar dipulihkan dalam masa yang singkat. Manakala dipihak Presiden juga begitu angkuh sehingga sempat merombak kabinet tatkala rakyat berkehendak sebaliknya. Begitulah fitrah manusia~ tidak mengira di mana.... mungkin dalam situasi ini Syaitan yang menjadi pemenangnya.... nauzubillah!

Dalam negeri juga menyorot cerita yang agak sensasi. Bermula dengan keadaan di beberapa negeri di Semenanjung yang ditenggelami banjir. Lebih 3000 orang telah dipindahkan ke Pusat Pemindahan. Tak kurang juga sensasinya keadaan banjir ini yang turut di'politik'kan sesetangah pihak tertentu. Bagi saya, musibah Allah ini pasti ada asbab dan mesej yang cuba disampaikan Allah kepada kita semua. Cuma sejauh manakah kita berfikir?

Apa pun yang berlaku, sebagai orang muda (ye ke?) kita perlulah berfikir dengan wajar dan janganlah terlalu mengikut hati. Belajarlah membuka minda dan hati untuk mendengar premis kata-kata orang lain. Mungkin dalam setimbunan sampah yang diperkata seseorang itu, terdapat seketul emas yang bernilai~

Ini malam keempat saya dan wife dalam proses mengasingkan Asyfa dari sumber makanan berasaskan ibu beliau (heheheh~). Nampak gaya ada progres yang agak memberangsangkan.

Malam pertama - dia mengamuk sakan dari mula masuk tidur sampai pukul 4.30 pagi (maklumlah tak dapat apa yang dihajatkan...) Habis satu rumah bengkak-bengkak mata keesokan harinya sebab tak cukup tidur...

Malam kedua - dah tak mengamuk... tapi kerap merengek sepanjang tidur. So, dapatlah berehat sedikit walaupun masih belum cukup rehat.

Malam ketiga - dah tak mengamuk dan kurang merengek sepanjang tidur. Proses pengasingan dirasakan mula menunjukkan hasil yang baik

Malam keempat - alhamdulillah, dia dah tidur walaupun aku yang tidurkan. Ada la sekali sekala merengek tapi still manageble. Mudah-mudahan Asyfa terus berjaya la ek

Malam kelima dan seterusnya - masih misteri dan mendebarkan!

Camtu lah gayanya.... Setiap apa yang aku buat, terkenang pada mama dan abah. Macam tulah agaknya kesusahan yang perlu mereka lalui dalam nak membesarkan aku dulu.... Saya sayang mak dan abah saya~ I love you Mama and Abah! Sememangnya bukan mudah nak membesarkan anak.... dah aku pun dah dapat menjiwai hadis nabi tentang ibu didahului sebanyak 3 kali sebelum bapa....

Ok la semua! Kita jumpa lagi.... thanks for reading even this may be boring~ Sayangi ibu dan bapa anda, dan jangan lupa sayangi juga diri anda dengan memberikannya nutrisi terbaik!

Dilema juga kepala aku nak memikirkannya... Masa semakin suntuk.... Tinggal kira-kira 2 hari je lagi nak masuk bulan 2 dalam tahun ni.

Kisah ini adalah berkaitan budak comel ini.....

Buah hati kedua saya ni mengalami sindrom tak boleh berpisah dengan ibunda beliau. So, the biggest problem berlaku pada waktu pagi a.k.a. Waktu bersiap nk pegi keje.

Kesian saya kat isteri tercinta in case saya outstation.

Solution??? Saya masih buntu~

nak pakai maid? Cam x brapa nak caya + tak de ongkos

nak letak umah mak? Kalu lama2 sgt rindu gak kt goyang pinggang dia

nak biar je? Cian plak kt isteri yang disayangi kan...kan.. (kene la jek skt.... Dia ada kt sebelah ni... Heheheh~)

Pepun, mudah-mudahan Allah memberikan jalan yang mudah kepada kami sekeluarga... Ammin~

Dah masuk tahun 2011 rupanya~ ini merupakan post yang pertama. Apa maknanya? Adakah terlalu sibuk atau blogging kini hanya di pinggiran? Huhuhu... susah nak dinyatakan kan?

Hari ini berkesempatan melawat blog-blog yang dah ditinggalkan bersawang. So kenelah buat keje-keje pembersihan sket... thus, aku bermula dengan post entry baru. Wish this won't be the last for this year.

Tahun 2011 ni banyak aktiviti baru yang akan dilaksanakan. Antaranya:

(a) aku cadang nak bukak kelab Nutrisi kat rumah;

(insya Allah bulan April 2011 ni mula... orang Kuantan jemput singgah ye!)

(b) pergi ke India atas urusan rasmi;

(pengalaman pertama ke luar negara... sensorang je plak... sob! sob!)

(c) sambung belajar yea!

(insya Allah bulan September. Buat locally je... love Malaysia!)

So, amat berharap everything akan berjalan dengan baik dan seperti yang dirancang. For sure banyak onak, ranjau, duri dan durian akan berada sepanjang perjalanan nak merealisasikan impian. Semoga Allah kurniakan kekuatan dan semangat membara kepada aku dalam meneruskan perjuangan kehidupan ini.

Berubah sebelum rebah

Baru-baru ini saya bersama-sama dengan rakan-rakan Herbalife semasa menghadiri Akademi di Sri Malaysia Kuantan. Saya amat teruja melihat beberapa orang adik-adik yang baru berumur akhir 20-an sudah pun berjaya menjana sumber kewangan sendiri~ hingga ada yang mencecah RM20 ribu sebulan walaupun belum habis belajar lagi! Memang luar biasa. Ramai orang mengeluh kerana kurang sumber pendapatan... tapi ramaikah yang sanggup bekerja keras untuk dapatkan pendapatan yang lebih?

Semalam saya baru saja bersama-sama beberapa orang pesara dalam "Majlis Jasamu Dikenang" anjuran Kerajaan Negeri Pahang. Rata-rata para pesara ni menzahirkan kegusaran yang sama hatta mereka yang bergaji kepala angka 6 sebelum persaraan - kegusaran menjadi lemah kerana semakin berumur, dan kegusaran kerana sumber pendapatan menjadi terhad selepas persaraan. Terdetik sejenak - adakah saya mahu mengulangi senario ini? adakah saya bersedia dari segi kewangan jika saya bersara kira-kira 20 tahun akan datang? adakah saya masih mampu bekerja kuat seperti sekarang untuk menjana kewangan berlipat ganda? saya rasa pasti tidak jika saya tidak merubah diri dari sekarang.

Sememangnya bukan satu perkara yang mudah untuk berubah, walaupun perubahan itu untuk kebaikan diri sendiri. Tapi, apa yang penting adalah kita perlu kuatkan semangat dan fokus dengan apa yang kita lakukan. Hadapai segala cabaran sebagai faktor pendorong untuk kita bekerja lebih keras lagi....

Kepada rakan-rakan di luar sana... adakah anda telah bersedia? Semoga kita mampu mengubah kehidupan kita ke arah yang jauh lebih baik dari hari ini dan jangan sampai sudah terlambat baru kita mengesalinya~ Untuk semuanya berubah, kita sendiri perlu berubah. Kita tidak boleh merubah orang lain, oleh itu lebih baik kita merubah diri kita terlebih dahulu~

Again?.... it's more than 3 months since the last post. Aktiviti menulis blog menjadi lebih mencabar berbanding aktiviti dalam talian yang lain. Itulah kepantasan dunia yang menyebabkan suatu perkara yang dulu biasa kita lakukan kini menjadi sesuatu yang dirasakan terlalu sukar untuk dilaksanakan.

Within this 3 months, banyak perkara yang dipelajari.

1. Kewangan

Semua kini memerlukan wang untuk bergerak. Dalam kehidupan harian, pengurusan kewangan amatlah penting. Baik untuk kelestarian keluarga mahupun untuk kemantapan organisasi di tempat kerja. Wang yang ada di tangan perlu dibelanjakan dengan berhemah dan betul-betul mengikut bajet yang disedia. Bagi tahun ini, Kerajaan pula telah mulakan inisiatif ke arah pelaksanaan OBB (Outcome Bases Budgeting) yang mungkin akan dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh pada tahun 2013. Pembentangan Bajet 2011 pula baru saja selesai dibentangkan di Parlimen pada 14 Oktober 2010 (Jumaat) lepas. Kira-kira RM211,987 juta diperuntukan untuk perbelanjaan Kerajaan pada tahun 2011. Pelbagai respons diterima - ada banyak berita gembira juga; dan bagi sesetengah pihak melabelkannya sebagai bajet Pilihanraya Umum (PRU). Terpulanglah... Pada pandangan peribadi saya, apa yang jelas dilihat, dari aspek pengurusan strategik, Kerajaan kini giat mengejar bajet surplurs - yang sememangnya amat diperlukan bagi memastikan ekonomi kerajaan semakin mantap. Dari aspek pemberian wang ehsan kepada lebih 1.2 juta kakitangan Kerajaan sebanyak RM500 pula, ia dilihat sebagai satu keputusan yang terpaksa dilakukan Kerajaan malah ia adalah keputusan sukar untuk dilakukan sebenarnya terlebih lagi pada masa ini. Ini mungkin kerana pemberian bonus satu ketika dahulu pernah diberikan pada zaman mantan Timbalan Perdana Menteri. Jika ia ditarik atau sekurangnya tidak diberikan dalam sebarang bentuk lain seakan-akan bonus, pasti ia akan menjadi satu polemik politik yang besar yang mungkin pada pandangan Kerajaan mampu melumpuhkan jentera kerja kakitangan awam khususnya dari aspek moral.

2. Sikap

Mengurus sikap manusia bukanlah satu yang mudah, malah dianggap hampir kepada mustahil. Dari beberapa artikel pembacaan saya, rata-rata management guru menasihatkan supaya memastikan setiap perubahan yang ingin dilakukan dalam sesebuah organisasi tersebut benar-benar difahami dan diwujudkan elemen relevence antara inisiatif perubahan tersebut dengan pekerja itu sendiri. Kepentingan menjaga tahap motivasi tinggi di kalangan kakitangan juga amat penting seperti dinyatakan pengasas McDonald bahawa jika majikan menjaga kebajikan pekerjanya, maka pekerja pula akan menjaga kebajikan syarikat tersebut. Apakah maknanya ini? Ia bermakna, pekerja yang dapat bekerja dalam suasana kerja yang harmoni mampu menjana lebih banyak keuntungan kepada majikan tersebut. Dari aspek pengurusan strategik, jika contention ini benar, ia adalah satu teori yang penting untuk dilaksanakan oleh semua pengurus/majikan. Pada pengamatan peribadi saya, di Malaysia ini dapat saya lihat makna relevence itu bukan bermakna 'dimanjakan' semata-mata. Ini bermakna, apa saja kaedah majikan yang mampu mewujudkan relevence di kalangan anggota kerjanya adalah dilihat dari aspek pengurusan strategik sebagai tindakan yang tepat tanpa mengira jenis tindakan tersebut. Bahkan dalam pengurusan pejabat-pejabat Kerajaan kini, sebagai contohnya, banyak Ketua Jabatan yang dilihat menjadikan kaedah mengeluarkan "Surat Tunjuk Sebab" sebagai cara mereka mewujudkan relevence dalam organisasi mereka, walaupun pada dasarnya penggunaan STS ini adalah salah dari aspek kaedahnya. Kesannya, walaupun dalam keadaan marah dan tidak berpuas hati terhadap majikan, kebanyakan objektif dan misi Jabatan dapat dicapai. Namun, adakah sebenarnya keadaan ini sememangnya telah dijangka oleh semua management guru atau adakah ia unintended consequences yang harus ditanggung semua Majikan? Atau mungkinkah di zaman moden ini, kaedah berlembut sememangnya telah tidak berkesan kepada pekerja dalam usaha mencapai objektif Jabatan?

3. Mengurus Aduan

Dalam mana-mana teori pengurusan strategik, elemen maklum balas adalah merupakan satu yang wajib dalam memastikan segala strategi yang diambil dalam mencapai objektif yang telah ditetapkan akan dapat dicapai dan dapat dicapai melalui kaedah yang terbaik. Antara medium sesebuah organisasi boleh menerima maklum balas adalah daripada aduan yang diterimanya. Janelle Barlow menyatakan bahawa sudah sampai masa kini aduan itu diterima sebagai satu hadiah dan bukanlah sebagai satu beban. Malah maklum balas melalui saluran aduan ini juga dilihat menjadi signifikan yang diberikan perhatian oleh Tan Sri Sidek Hassan, Ketua Setiausaha Negara kini. Pada pandangan peribadi saya, sememangnya bukan mudah untuk menukar sesuatu yang diberikan konotasi negatif kepada sesuatu yang harus dipandang positif tambahan pula, elemen psikologi turut memainkan peranan penting dalam pengurusan aduan. Usaha menjadikan aduan sebagai satu maklumat berguna dalam menambahbaik mutu perkhidmatan awam ini bukanlah satu yang mudah sebenarnya. Ia memerlukan perubahan minda bukan sahaja dari pengurus aduan tetapi juga dari para pengadu itu sendiri. Pengadu juga perlulah sedar bahawa untuk memberikan 'hadiah' yang terbaik, segala ramuannya perlulah elok. Ia mestilah dibuat atas dasar penambahbaikan dan bukannya atas dasar permusuhan mahupun hasad dengki. Permudahkan pengurus aduan untuk mereka mudah membantu anda!

Turun berat badan anda, tanya saya bagaimana!

Rasanya sekali lagi ketidakberjayaan meng'update' blog dalam tempoh yang pendek. Apa pun, setelah hampir 2 minggu bercuti (dan masih dalam tempoh cuti ni) dapatlah juga aku ambil kesempatan untuk hantar 1 entry. Itu pun nak berkongsi pengalaman produk herbalife yang aku baru gunakan semula. Sebelum aku gunakan produk ni, rupa-rupanya berat badan aku dah mencecah 97 kg. Agaknya sedap sangat makanan kat Kuantan nih. Patut la aku rasa agak sukar nak duduk tahyat akhir semasa bersolat. Dijadikan cerita, aku ada berjumpa seorang rakan dan dia pun pernah mengalami masalah yang sama.

Dia suggestkan aku untuk cuba produk herbalife. Aku pun cuba la guna produk tu dan after 2 weeks alhamdulillah berat aku dapat kurang sebanyak 2 kilo. So aku keep on trying memandangkan produk ni serasi la rasanya ngan badan aku. After 2 months using it alhamdulillah berat aku dah tinggal 87 kilo (kira-kira 10 kg la dah kurang). Tapi memandangkan berat ideal aku adalah dalam lingkungan 55 - 65 kg, rasanya usaha masih perlu digandakan. Cuma apa yang rasa seronok sangat adalah aku rasa lebih bertenaga, lebih mudah melakukan pergerakan fizikal dan bersolat. Produk ni sebenarnya lebih kepada program keseimbangan nutrisi sel berbanding program menurunkan berat badan. So, ia sesuai untuk sapa sahaja sama ada nak turunkan berat badan, nak naikkan berat badan dan nak maintain berat badan. Jadi kengkawan, sapa-sapa yang berminat buley la tanya saya bagaimana ye....
