I had a lot going on, so I was thinking, “How can I get my team to handle this?”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then Roger told me, “I’ve been wanting to meet with you because I’ve been watching your videos, and I know I can trust you.” So I decided to go meet with him.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Mostly, we talked about his life: how he was a truck driver, construction worker, sheet metal worker, and a fisherman. We also talked about his family, his grandchildren, and about life in general.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We didn’t even really talk about real estate. We will, of course, find out what we can do to help him achieve his goal, but when we were getting ready to leave, he told me that he needed to stop at his house on the way home. He said he had a big slab of frozen sockeye salmon to give me.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;It made me feel so awesome to know that he appreciated my time and conversation.&lt;/b&gt; As a final word of advice for today’s episode: When someone offers you something out of gratitude, don’t deny it. You’ll be denying them the gratification of giving. They bought another home in Sedro-Woolley and were concerned that they would have two mortgage payments. For the longest time, I’ve wanted to fly. I was always interested in the idea of doing so, even as a child. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would make parachutes out of blankets, play with toy planes, and do anything else I could to imitate this dream. Even as an adult, I maintained that interest. &lt;b&gt;I began to put the wish onto vision boards, which I actually found to be quite effective. &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I began associating the image of the plane on the vision board with my desire to fly. The more I did that, the more I worked to manifest that vision into reality. My coach told me that this was a great step, and suggested that I actually stop by an airport some day on my way to work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, that’s exactly what I did. My coach told me I’d either end up cleaning an airplane, or owning one—and he was right.&lt;b&gt; I went to Cascade Aviation, a local airport, and found out how inexpensive it is to fly.&lt;/b&gt; I now have access to three airplanes for just $50 a month. Training only costs about $120 an hour with another $40 an hour for the flight instructor’s time.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Today I want to share with you a trick I learned that has helped me achieve my goals quicker.&lt;br /&gt;

I got from where I was going to where I wanted to be faster due to proximity. Success is all about who you hang around.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
When I started hanging out with entrepreneurs, I became an entrepreneur. &lt;b&gt;We are the average of the five closest people we hang around. &lt;/b&gt;Show me your friends and I will tell you your future.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In life, people are either batteries or black holes, they either charge you up or suck the life right out of you. Who is your peer group? Are they building you up and causing you to grow; or are they dragging you down?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;nbsp;Which type of person are you? Are you inspiring people to grow by your example, or are you dragging them down?&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;
So, I encourage you to look at your five, the five people you hang out with most and see if they’re pulling you up to grow. I also challenge you to look at yourself and see if you’re causing people to grow. &lt;b&gt;People follow by example, not words. &lt;/b&gt;In fact, I heard a great quote that goes, “Who you are speaks so loudly, I can’t hear what you’re saying.”&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
If you want to reach your goals quicker, go hang out with people who are where you want to be and become that person.&lt;br /&gt;

I’ve been able to go after some pretty big, ridiculous goals and I wanted to talk to you a little bit about how I’ve been able to do that.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The first thing I do is set a goal that scares the hell out of me, like running an Ironman Triathlon. For my business, my goal was to sell a billion dollars in real estate volume. After I set these massive, scary goals, I make it public. &lt;b&gt;Once I make it public, it has to happen.&lt;/b&gt; My commitment is there, and now it’s time for me to smash that goal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now, if I fall short of the goal, that’s okay. I think falling short of a billion dollar goal by selling “only” $950 million is a much better result than setting and achieving a goal of $50 million. &lt;b&gt;The key for me is to always be thinking bigger.&lt;/b&gt; In my own life, I’ve experienced playing it small much too often. Until recently, I’ve only been performing at about 10% of what I am capable of. I am capable of more than I think, and so are you.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;b&gt;One piece of advice that I like to share with you comes from the great Tony Robbins.&lt;/b&gt; He says that people only perform to the expectations of their peer group. I was a victim of underperforming for years because of my peer group, and you may be feeling the same way as well. I started hanging around people who are pushing themselves to the limit, and those results have been incredible.&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;br /&gt;

The first thing I do is set a goal that scares the hell out of me, like running an Ironman Triathlon. For my business, my goal was to sell a billion dollars in real estate volume. After I set these massive, scary goals, I make it public. Once I make it public, it has to happen. My commitment is there, and now it’s time for me to smash that goal. Now, if I fall short of the goal, that’s okay. I think falling short of a billion dollar goal by selling “only” $950 million is a much better result than setting and achieving a goal of $50 million. The key for me is to always be thinking bigger. In my own life, I’ve experienced playing it small much too often. Until recently, I’ve only been performing at about 10% of what I am capable of. I am capable of more than I think, and so are you. One piece of advice that I like to share with you comes from the great Tony Robbins. He says that people only perform to the expectations of their peer group. I was a victim of underperforming for years because of my peer group, and you may be feeling the same way as well. I started hanging around people who are pushing themselves to the limit, and those results have been incredible. “ People only perform to the expectations of their peer group. ” The consequences of joining our team are that you will elevate your income and strengthen your relationships and spirituality. Overall, you will have more. We’re going to stretch you and make you uncomfortable, but it’s going to be worth it in the end. We are looking for people who want to take their business and their lives to the next level.
