Leica Rumors published their Leica L2 watch review:

Pros:

The quick date change is very useful since you will need a date adjustment every other month.
Smooth lugs (many companies make their lugs extra sharp on the edges).
The top sapphire crystal is shaped/curved/domed like the front element of a lens.
Fitted with sapphire crystals front and back.
Excellent leather strap – soft leather on top and velvet-like texture on the inside.
The strap has quick-release pins.
Very light watch – only 79g (under 3 oz).
A power reserve indicator is always helpful.
Perfect size and dimensions – for me that is (my favorite watch size is 42mm).
The Leica L2 can display two time zones with a single hand.
The watch is operating at a high frequency of 28.800 A/h, 4 Hz.
Made in Germany.

Cons:

Still cannot register the watch online on Leica’s website (the manual is also not available online yet).
I think at this price range, a folding clasp would be more appropriate than a buckle.
The day/night (white/black) indicator is too small and hard to see.

June 13, 2018 - With the inauguration of the third phase of the Leitz Park, the “Ernst Leitz Werkstätten,” a division of Leica Camera that designs and manufactures luxury products, has begun operations with the debut of a completely new and exclusive product line in the Leica Camera portfolio: limited-run mechanically advanced and stylishly sophisticated watches. The Ernst Leitz Werkstätten is housed on the latest phase of Leitz Park and offers a fascinating insight into the elaborate production of “Made in Germany” watches through the manufacturer’s viewing windows, where guests can see first-hand the production of these incredible products. The premises include an assembly workshop, a consulting studio and a store. Two models – the LEICA L1 and the LEICA L2 – will initially be available for the launch of the Leica Watch. Both variants draw their design inspiration from the creativity and precision of the world-famous brand from Wetzlar. Both models were designed by Professor Achim Heine, who oversaw the design of many Leica Camera products over the years and has extensive knowledge of the company’s design principles. The Leica signature look can be found in the countless design elements and features of the watches: the elegance of the hands and indexes, the shape of the finely-detailed stainless-steel case, the special fluting on the crown and the cambered shape of the glass that is reminiscent of a camera lens. Both models are operated by a mechanical movement with manual winding, which has been newly developed and can be viewed through the glass case back made of robust sapphire crystal. For Leica, the “Made in Germany” aspect is of particular importance, hence the collaboration with Lehmann Präzision GmbH. The development, design and a large proportion of the components come from the manufacturer situated in Germanys' Black Forest and help the watches achieve a very localized supply chain and manufacturing workflow. Design and technology complement each other perfectly in the Leica watches: both the front glass and the back case cover are made of scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with the front being anti-reflective on both sides. Each model also has the patented push-piece crown with a corresponding status display on the dial. In combination with the zero setting of the second hand, the crown is not only aesthetically appealing, but also adds a useful function to the watches. The design, which is reduced to the essentials and coupled with uncompromisingly high quality, make the LEICA L1 and LEICA L2 not only a functional instrument, but also a real statement piece. Dr Andreas Kaufmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and majority shareholder of Leica Camera, about the Ernst Leitz Werkstätten: “I am very happy that this long-term project can now be finally presented. “The technology for our watches didn’t exist. We had to create everything from scratch and invent as we went along,” says Scott Devon, founder and creative director of Devon Works. “This project came into being because of our revolutionary design and desire to strive for something different.”

Different and powerful is exactly what Devon achieved in the eight-month time frame the brand was allotted to bring the Star Wars | Devon watch to fruition. “We knew immediately that we had to incorporate Darth Vader into the design. He is not just one of the most iconic Star Wars characters, but he is also represents an impressive display of man interfacing with machine” says Devon, adding that he worked with his in-house designer, Marko Petrovic to develop the watch. “Marko had already seen the Star Wars movies a hundred times before I even brought the concept of the watch to him. He had the design done within in a week.”

With this record development time, the watch design fully embraces the elements that are the essence of Star Wars tech with the elements that are Devon.

To harness the Force, Devon incorporates the key elements of Darth Vader and the TIE Fighter, the starship of the Imperial fleet. Naturally, the case of the watch is created in all black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon Coating) on stainless steel. The wings of the TIE Fighter spacecraft are part of the architecture of the case – spanning out on either side to enhance the bold rectangular case. The main screws that connect the case and lugs are reinterpreted as aircraft turbine intakes, finished with pointed silver screws that emulate the ones on Darth Vader’s helmet. Additionally, the crown is finished with the Galactic Empire logo.

The otherworldly details don’t stop with the case design. Key elements are also executed within the movement. For instance, the existing belt system of the watch utilizes four motor covers that, in this case, are created in red and green to reflect the details on Darth Vader’s center console. A center hexagonal disk that features techy TIE Fighter inscriptions not only adds an industrial element, but also clearly outlines the time indications. The finishing touch is the specially made leather strap that is ribbed to replicate Darth Vader’s gloves. The attention to detail invested in the Star Wars | Devon watch is the perfect marriage of key elements from both Star Wars and Devon.

“Being a huge fan of Star Wars, it was not so hard for me to put my mind into it and come up with a watch that captures the movies’ essence,” says Petrovic. “It was a real treat to watch all the episodes again, but his time from a different perspective. Blending of the emblems of Star Wars with Devon to create an iconic watch just flowed naturally.”

Just 500 Star Wars by Devon watches will be built over a two-year time period. Each is packaged in a specially built box inspired by Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter, and will sell through authorized Devon retailers in America and on Amazon beginning in October for $28,500 USD.

Devon will support with a stylish print ad campaign that is a bold blend of Star Wars iconography and elevated design

The collaboration wasn't accomplished with traditional watchmakers, but rather with the US Aerospace Industry. Devon found a boutique electronic aerospace engineering company to achieve watches that are rare, different and incredibly difficult to manufacture. They have more than 300 separate parts just for the movement.

I am selling this new old stock Rolex GMT Master watch (Pepsi bezel, ref. 16700, caliber 3175, ca. 1998, the serial number starts with A29xxxx). The watch still has the stickers on the back and on the clasp and is in new condition (never worn - I put it few times on just to take pictures). I purchased it from Christie's and have all the paperwork. The watch is a complete set - see below (more pictures available upon request). I bought it to wear it myself, but never got the courage to peel off the stickers :)
