Someone wrote to ask me what she’s doing now. Great question and I’ve looked up the answer for you. Believe it or not she’s been doing gigs since the Gilmore Girls ended. Not sure how many though. Currently she’s got four things coming up for her, so she’ll definitely be one busy girl. Luke would be so proud.

TV Squad was lucky enough to get an writes about Lauren Graham and The Office  and I thought some of you would like to read. Find out how the writer’s strike hurt Lauren Graham, aka Lorelai and what she plans to do now.

Many had believed that she was going to be in a new spinoff from "The Office" however now it looks like it won’t be taken off. So far, many spinoffs seem to be crashing and burning, including the one with Parker Posey, "The Return of Jezebel James", who tried playing a comical Lorelai. Things didn’t work out well in the show when the audience wasn’t around to watch, the show was short lived.

Writer, Ausiello told TVSquad he believed Graham needed better writing and would be great for the show. But it still looks like she won’t be joining.

Since leaving Gilmore Girls she has played in Because I Said So and Evan Almighty, plus playing in a few plays, but besides that she really hasn’t had a starring role like Gilmore Girls. Please people bring back Lauren!

Luke is trying to figure out how to coach the girls’ soccer team and he’s frightened after he sees them kicking all the other teams’ players.

Paul Anka is sick and Lorelai is worried, she’s even taken him to the vet but is worried about him still. Luke tells her after the soccer team is done eating he’ll be over.

Rory is on a date with both her men, one from her past and her new guy. Jess is giving the whole cold shoulder now that Logan has invited himself. Things are tense and it feels as if a fight is ready to break out. Logan is being a jerk and Jess finally gets up to leaev and Rory runs after him. Jess is worried about the way Rory is acting now and tells her he’s worried, this isn’t the her he knows. Says he’s [Logan] a jerk, spoiled, in the money. Living at her grandparents, dropping out of Yale, etc. Finally he tells her goodbye and walks away, wishing her a happy birthday.

When she comes back in she attacks Logan for attacking Jess. Rory realizes that her life has become everything she always hated. Logan jumps in and tells her not to blame him, all she has to do is what she wants. The two of them get into a huge fight over him having money and being given everything and he ends up wanting to leave but since she doesn’t he tosses money at her and walks away.

The following day Emily shows up to get Rory but she isn’t in her room. That’s when you see Rory coming out of Lane’s room and getting ready to get to the DAR. When she shows up her grandma is upset and the two walk off in different directions after their little spat and she says she doesn’t live at her grandma’s anymore.

Luke wakes up to an empty bed and calls out for Lorelai, when she doesn’t respond he searches for her and finds her sleeping on a chair in Paul Anka’s room. He wakes her up and she gets all worked up about the poor dog.

Jess, Watchinggilmoregirls, Gilmore Girls, Jess comes back, Logan, DAR

Rory is part of the DAR with her grandmother and begins to tell them how they can make their party a success. Everyone is shocked when she speaks up with all these ideas about the internet and how to spread the word. Everyone votes for Rory to do the party. You can tell that Emily is a bit worried about Rory taking over.

At dinner Sookie and invited Luke and Lorelai to dinner and they all try talking about television shows. Their son though won’t listen and turn the tv down. Course Davy doesn’t listen and his sister wakes up. At this point the baby is crying, Lorelai is watching Luke eat and Sookie is counting down.

Emily is complaining to Richard that Rory threw out the menu for the Fort Drum event, but he reminds her that it is Rory they are talking and everything she puts her mind gets done. The following day, Richard shows up at the Inn and lets the girls know that he will write a check for them today. Sookie is excited but Lorelai is still upset. (remember that they kept Rory after she dropped out of college)

Lorelai asks how things are going, he tries ignoring her but it isn’t working. He still doesn’t believe that they (Huntsbergers) ever said anything to Rory to upset her. He quickly gets his estimates and leaves, leaving her with no word on Rory.

Paris has found out her parents are now broke and tells Rory all about it. Rory hires her and off Paris goes, borrowing $25 before she leaves. Rory apologizes to the party planners. We are back at Lorelai’s house with Luke and he’s making the dog dinner.

Rory informs Emily that they are sold out, of course she is surprised. Paris shows up at work and is expcited since it is her first job. Course while taking around the food Paris doesn’t know how to stop chatting. Rory’s event goes off without a hitch, the food is real food and not fancy and her grandparents dance on the floor to get others out there. But the Huntsberger’s show up and expect a table, which upsets Rory because she never VIPed.

Rory does find a table but it is a corner table. Mrs. Huntsberger is tries faking her niceness to Rory but Rory isn’t a dummy, seats her at the back and walks away. But when word spreads to Emily that Sheryl Huntsberger is at the loser table she confronts Rory and gets her to change the tables. That is until she sees Mitchum and ends up having a panic attack and goes into the kitchen. Richard runs into Mitchum in the bathroom and Mitchum tells Richard that Rory’s not that great. He explains that he did what Richard would’ve done, that he wasn’t going to let Rory drain his company. He explains that he felt bad about the dinner so invited her to work for him and then let her down.

Richard is furious that Lorelai was right about everything and tells her. She tells him to head outside and she’ll be there soon. With the look in her eye you knew she was up to something. Emily takes the Mrs to the center table and lets her know that she knows what happened at the dinner. Emily lets her have it and lets her know that she knows all about how she got with Mitchum and on and on. In the end she tells her to leave the two kids alone and let them be happy.

Richard stands back and watches his little granddaughter on the stage as she gives a speech. He’s heartbroken to see her up there giving her all knowing what has happened to her and how she’d hidden it.

DAR, Gilmore Girls, Huntsbergers

Rory and Paris are hung-over from the night before and Lorelai stays up all night taking care of her as she gets very familiar with the porcelain god.

Rory show up at Logan’s dorm room and she tells him she no longer wants to do this, they are called off. He gets upset and decides they’ll be boyfriend and girlfriend but she tells him he can’t. Just as he says he can a girl knocks on the door and asks for lunch. Rory tells him she does like him but doesn’t think he can do it. He grabs her and kisses her and tells her yes. He tells the girl outside the room that he is taken and then takes Rory out to eat.

Once they get back there is a girl sitting in his dorm room and he dashes over and hugs her and stuff. Rory is upset until she learns it is his sister but she’s asking him to come to the parents house when she announces her engagement. That’s when she learns her baby brother has a girlfriend.

Sookie gets bedrest and the Inn must step up, only problem is no one was ever hired as a chef. Lorelai runs to Luke and he jumps in but kicks her out of the kitchen. Sookie can’t stand having someone in her kitchen and calls to check in on him. Later she calls him back and asks why he has certain things in the meals he’s currently making, that’s when he realizes people are sneaking food out to her.

Doyle is sick and tries getting attention from Paris but she can’t stand illness so she hires her nanny to take care of him. Rory gets ready for her date with Logan and must kick nanny out of her room. She’s shocked it’s clean. She looks great for her date and Logan tries warning her that his parents might be cruel.

Luke realizes some items are still disappearing from the kitchen and follows one of his cooks. He follows him right into a room, that’s right, Sookie has put herself in a hotel room because Luke made her promise the food wouldn’t leave the Inn.

During the dinner, Logan’s grandfather is getting upset because Mitchem hasn’t showed up at the dinner table. He wants to talk about his family getting people to marry into the family. Speaking out of turn Logan tells them that his sister should be happy. They quickly speak up and let them know that it is Rory they are afraid of. Logan’s mom goes off on what type of marriage it would be if he and Rory got together and Rory won’t fit into their family. He gets upset and the two leave the house, just in time for his dad to walk in. Rory is upset that they don’t think she’s good enough for them.

Paris comes to check on Doyle and sees that Nanny and him are getting along great and when he says thanks she gets upset and tells him they need to talk. Uh oh. Logan and Rory are in front of her dorm and he tells her goodnight and that he must clear his head.

Jackson comes over to chew Luke out for chewing Sookie out and after that Luke chews Lorelai out. That night she spots Jackson and Sookie on their way home and they all agree that everything is fine and Sookie’s replacement will be the cook she trained.

WatchingGilmoreGirls, Gilmore Girls

Lorelai and Luke are back together, course she’s still bringing in Weston’s Coffee Cups but he doesn’t say too much. Lulu and Kirk are fighting because she doesn’t want to give up the pink ribbon she has in support of Lorelai. In the meantime Logan and Rory have broke into the cafeteria to get a snack, course Rory leaves money for everything she eats. The following day Rory gets a call from her mom who is worried about her dress she wants to wear for her date night with Luke. But Rory is getting ready to pull in for Friday Night Dinner, this should be interesting figuring how Rory feels towards Grams right now.

Kirk talks to Luke before his date with Lorelai. He’s upset that his mom doesn’t approve of Lulu and is always getting sick when she shows up. Finally to speed things up Luke tells him just to move out and become a man. Things are quiet at Friday Night dinner, Emily is hurt when Lorelai doesn’t show up. After dinner she talks with Richard and the two begin thinking that they never got back together.

Rory catches Logan with another girl when she is around town, the next day he shows up at the paper to ask if she saw and if they are still good. Later she is at the library when someone walks up and asks her on a date, thinking about Logan and his girlfriend she says yes. He’s shocked and says good, pick ya up at 8.

Michele gets his winnings but he doesn’t want it, imagine a huge motorhome showing up at the Dragonfly Inn on the same day as a photo shoot for the Inn. Lorelai gets really upset with him because the shoot is ruined, later she is looking for him but he’s hurt by what she says. She realizes how much she hurt him and overhears him saying it was on sale for $20,000 instead of $100,000. After a quick chat though he’s ready to sell it for much higher and is smiling again.

Lorelai is wearing a sparkly gold dress, ankle-length with a pink shawl. Rory tells her via phone it is fine, but she must get ready for her own date with Robert. Lorelai is shocked that Rory is going out with someone that isn’t Logan and wants to make sure they are okay. Course Luke is shocked about how beautiful she looks in her outfit and the two head off. Once inside the truck she spots a horrid CD and goes on and on about it. Once their date has ended they hear something in Lorelai’s garage and Luke grabs a shovel to bust it over the head, but they find Kirk inside the boat in her garage. Lorelai tells him he can stay in Rory’s room since Luke got him booted out of his home.

Rory shows up in a school girl outfit with chains to Phin’s party, her date is wearing a white t-shirt with blood all over it. Logan is wearing a boxer’s outfit and his date is in a pregnant wedding dress with blood all over it. Logan is jealous when he sees Lorelai has a date and isn’t spending any time watching him. Course once her date walks away to get her a drink Logan swishes in, he tries bad-mouthing him but she doesn’t buy it. When he tries kissing her she pushes him away and he’s upset by it. He tells her he doesn’t like her being on a date with Robert and not him.

Emily shows up at Luke’s and starts chewing him a new one, he gets Lorelai on speed-dial and she overhears everything and storms down. Once inside Luke’s she tells Emily to SHUT UP, in which Emily is crushed but leaves the store without another word. Rory calls Lorelai that afternoon and she tells her all about her date and how it brought Logan to become insane with jealousy. Michele almost sales the motorhome when he finds Kirk asleep inside and walks back out.

Lorelai, Rory, Gilmore Girls, watching gilmore girls

Lorelai is lonely and tries calling Rory who is too busy to talk as she is studying for a test. So Lorelai hangs out at the Inn until Sooki invites her to go on a date for Friday Night dinner. The two have a blast but Sooki gets a bit too tired and falls asleep by the end of the night. But it’s just in time for Rory to walk in.

After chatting on the phone with her mom Rory she heads to get coffee, dropping her purse and Logan surprises her from behind as he begins collecting her change for her. He ends up paying for her coffee and pulls her to a private corner to give her a bit of a smooch. Logan is about to go on a skiing trip and wanted to see her, even stopped off at the paper before but didn’t see her.

Rory goes to family night dinner but gets upset with her grandmother who is acting like nothing went on between her and Lorelai. Rory can’t take it anymore and storms out, but not before yelling at her grandma. Rory ends up at Lorelai’s date with Sooki and tells her mom. Course she also tells her mom she really likes Logan and has already done things with him. Her mom is shocked but states she’d like to meet him again, unlike the way she did the last time.

Richard calls Lorelai up to find out how she’ll correct Rory about yelling at her grandmother but Lorelai says it is all on Rory. Lain visits Rory and gives her a cheeseburger from Luke’s but it is disgusting. Luke’s not in his game now that Lorelai and him are no longer together. But she does invite him over to look at her kitchen, when he comes over he says the Inn is in top shape but doesn’t like her policy.

Zach tries seducing Lain with a candlelight dinner and rose petals leading to the bedroom. When she realizes it she stops everything talking about how stupid she is for not realizing what it was that he wanted and apologizes.

Emily is upset with Richard because he went to see Lorelai and she won’t visit her. She’s upset that he won’t stand beside her and then she tells him why she did it and that it was for her (Lorelai) sake. Richard agrees but explains if he cuts off ties they’ll never see either of the girls ever again. She agrees to let him befriend them until they finally come around.

Logan cuts his weekend short and ends up at the college and calls Rory who cancels the weekend to meet up with him. Emily shows up at Luke’s to talk with him but he tries saying he is busy, before leaving she tells him to go after Lorelai and that she won’t stand in the way.

Watching Gilmore Girls, gilmore girls

Lorelai shows up at the college for her and Rory’s Friday night dinner without the “Gimores” and after yesterday I don’t blame her. I mean for her mom to ask her ex to come to the wedding because she thinks he’s better than Luke?! Errr.

But imagine walking in like that and having the world’s most annoying girl know it all. How would you feel?

During dinner they begin talking about “the wedding” and Rory mentions that her father called and wanted to tell her side of the story. At this point Rory begins wondering if it was her grandfather that knew about this, but Lorelai quickly comes to her defense and says he probably had no clue. After dinner they are walking and see Rory’s Naked Guy, but he won’t return her wave.

Luke is being questioned on his boat, but he doesn’t want to talk about it. Lulu brings in a student because he has to ask him to help build a set for the school play. He says no, but the teacher states that Lorelai signed them up weeks ago and he agrees. Man talk about a way to milk their breakup. Lorelai is upset when she spots the boat in town, especially since she sees it everywhere she goes. She hurt and upset and tells Sookie all about it, who agrees that he is a jerk.

Luke shows up at the school ten minutes late and one of the kids decide he’s Luke’s best friend and telling him all about his mommies, yes two of them.

Sookie shows up at Lorelai’s garage and she’s got a bag full of items. They are planning on making the garage into something fun for her so she won’t be upset over it. But just as they are having fun Sookie keeps getting calls from Michele at the Inn. But they finally catch on and invite him over, good thing too because he is put to work as they sit and chat.

Rory has upset Doyle at the paper when she walked out when he was talking to her in front of everyone. But when he lays his socks on her table she gets really upset and orders him out because she has a date. When her buddy shows up the two begin eating and watching movies.

Luke gets upset when he never sees any of the other adult and when a little girl trips he goes flying over to Lorelai’s to chew her out for not being there. This is the argument we’ve been waiting for, she tells him all about how she feels and how he should’ve called. They end it by him asking her if she’ll be there and her saying yes.

Rory’s movie night with Marty is interrupted when Logan shows up to ask if they’d like to go out with them. She’s desperate to go but doesn’t want to hurt Marty’s feelings, he sees this and says lets go. During dinner Logan keeps running his hand through her hair.

Watching Gilmore Girls, Gilmore Girls, Luke, Logan, Rory, Lorelai, Fiddler on the roof, school play

Quickly they phone all the women in town and they pack in the living room, after everyone is plastered and has gone home Lorelai attacks the seating chart book and starts rearranging everyone’s names.

The following day, Lorelai and Rory are getting ready and Luke shows up in his tux. Luke is upset he didn’t know you can get dressed there, at the wedding. They quickly run out the door and he’s worried they don’t lock up. Luke sees that everyone is changing at the wedding and he is complaining. Emily is upset about her book getting messed up and she says she fired the wedding planner over it. Oh no, Lorelai got someone fired. After her rant she says hi to Luke, Richard offers to have his pants steamed to get the wrinkles out. But of course Emily replies, “that’s not what he’s wearing to the wedding.” Talk about feeling really low. Inside the room, Emily is getting ready for the wedding and is nervous. Lorelai shows her mom to gifts Richard has and she picks out the one she wants. Rory of course is wearing a pant suit since she is the “best man” of the wedding.

As the music starts Lorelai walks in wearing a grey dress and a purple glittery jacket. Emily of course looks stunning in a similar sliver wedding gown that goes to her knees and completes it with a jacket. Rory is looking around the room when her father, Christopher walks in. Oops. Course she spots Logan in the crowd and smiles, until he begins talking with the girl beside him and they start giggling. After the wedding Lorelai and Luke walk into the reception, but Luke runs straight to the bar. Lorelai starts telling him how to get her out of talking with strangers. Rory is sneaking around the room spying on Logan as he is having a grand old time with his date. Lorelai realizes Chris is there and suddenly tells Luke he’s there and that she saw Christopher one night. Oh no!

There is some odd conversation between the three before Lorelai can seperate the two. She spots Rory and asks if she is okay, “Coffee stinks,” is her reply before her mom walks off. Richard is giving a toast to Emily when he tells a story instead. He dedicates a song to her and they begin dancing on the floor as they laugh and giggle today. During the dance Lorelai is trying to snuggle up to Luke but it isn’t returned. Chris is drinking more drinks and Rory is still sulking.

Chris gets upset at the sight of them dancing and goes out of the room, but not before Rory spots him and walks in. The two sit on a sofa and begin to talk, Chris begins telling her all the memories he has of her mom. He polishes off his drinks and leaves the room to get another one telling her he’ll see her later. Rory finally gets the courage to ask Logan to dance and when she gets him on the dance floor she asks him if he’ll ever ask her out. But when he doesn’t respond she tries to get away, he grabs her and says, “Rory.” The first time he’s ever called her that, normally he calls her, “Ace.” He admits he’s never been in a commitment, she explains she doesn’t want one.

Rory grabs a glass of bubbly and tells him to live in the moment and the two find a private room and begin making out. She begins kissing him but he can’t because he feels like he’s kissing again, that is until she kisses him a second time. Lorelai has just brought back drinks when Chris shows up at their table. She begins to look for Rory when it is time to get pictures. Her mom walks right in on Rory and Logan making out, but her dad walks in and goes nuts. Next Luke goes in at him but she is able to usher him out and the two fathers (as I’ll call him) have at it. Luke takes off after Christopher says Emily invited him to get back with Lorelai. Just as the picture is snapped Lorelai tells her mom they are done. (mom and her)

Gilmore Girls, Lorelai, Gilmore Wedding

Lorelai begins this one by talking in bed with Luke. That’s right, they are now sleeping together, errr talking in bed together. Lorelai wanted to know why Luke didn’t have a tv in the room, of course he tried but he did not convince her it was a bad thing.

Rory walks into the paper to find Paris fanning Doyle because Logan’s father was just in there and laid into him because Logan didn’t have many bylines. Only problem is Logan doesn’t do the assignments Doyle gives him. Rory quickly jumps up and says she’ll go meet with him and get him to do them.

Rory meets with Logan to go over his notes and her notes for the paper, but when she shows up her notes are more like a filing cabinet. He’s a bit shocked and the two have a lovely conversation. Logan asks Rory to go to his father’s party when he realizes that she is obsessed with one of the people that’ll be there. Course he leaves without ever asking her to go to the party with him. Some guys man, he even talked about going with a date.

Lorelai walks into the Diner and comments on how cute Lane is. Of course right away she hears Luke growling inside his kitchen. She quickly recites something for him to do to get it working and he asks how she did it. “I read your manual since you didn’t have a tv.” hehehe

Richard is in a meeting and a two guys are deciding who they want. Richard wants Simon and the two guys are shocked because of what happened between Simon and Emily during their seperation. Richard is shocked but tries not to show it. Later Richard is on his way out of the house and walks into Emily, he’s bugged but won’t say anything. You can tell he’s hurt at the thought of her with Simon. Too bad he won’t talk with her about it.

Course Emily gets to the party before Richard and Simon comes to chat with her at her car. Her car gets slammed from behind, it’s Richard. Richard jumps to her rescue, even though he is the one that hit the car. Simon tries taking care of her but Richard grabs her and says he is taking her home and he’ll take care of her and Simon doesn’t need too. Once at home he asks if she is okay, she says she’s fine and he mumbles he doens’t want to go back to the pool house. Immediately she tells him to come home. Woohoo!

Rory calls her mom and asks her to cover for her for Friday Night Dinner as she may have a guy thing going on. But will inform her mother later. Lane is practicing with her band when her mother comes over and demands she shows up at dinner with her family. Lane explains she won’t go without her boyfriend and then when her mother says yes she says the whole band and once again it is agreed.

Jackson runs into Rory and tells her that he wishes she’s let Sookie come home sooner, especially since she is pregnant again. Lorelai begins to realize that something is up with Sookie since she should’ve been home sooner.

Lorelai and Rory show up at Friday night dinner just in time to witness Emily and Richard getting back together. Once inside they tell the girls that they have been getting to know each other for that past day and night. The best news is the two of them are getting remarried on their 40th Anniversary.

Lorelai invites Luke to come to the upcoming wedding and he says yes. In the meantime though, Emily shows up at Chris’ and invites him to the wedding.

Rory, Lorelai, Emily, Richard, Gilmore Girls
