			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Robert Connelly Stevenson 72, of Georgetown, Florida passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center in Palatka, Florida. Robert was born on Saturday, November 4, 1939 in Derby, Connecticut to the late William John and Viola Blanche (Walsh) Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson Proudly served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force. He retired after 22 years of service in the Vietnam War and the Gulf War. He enjoyed camping and fishing, retired from the Maine Department of Transportation. <p>Mr. Stevenson leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 54 years, Gail A Stevenson of Georgetown, Florida; sons: John Arsene Stevenson and wife Pam of Weston, Maine and Glen Robert Stevenson and wife Connie of Gulfport, Mississippi; daughters: Dawn Mary Deal of Horseshoe, North Carolina and Robin Marchesi and companion Ray Clukey of Albion, Maine; brother, William Stevenson and wife Sue of Derby, Connecticut; sister, Agnes Gallagher of Ansonia, Connecticut; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; Many other family and friends who will miss him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to Haven Hospice, 6400 St Johns Ave, Palatka, Florida 32177.</p>

Helen was born on Sunday, June 30, 1929 in New Orleans to the late Daniel J. And Beulah M. (Keller) McKeever. She is also preceded in death by her husband Calvin Hendrix, Sr., a brother in law John Arendt, and a nephew, Patrick Fleming. She was a member of St. Monica Church and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 3349 in Palatka, Florida. Her interest were, sewing, gardening, antiquing reading and an avid Bingo player. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Darrell E. Meinke 91, of Welaka, Florida passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Lakewood Nursing Center in Crescent City, Florida after an extended illness. Darrell was born on Wednesday, November 3, 1920 in Maquoketa, Iowa to the late Albert J. And Nellie (Blunt) Meinke. Mr. Meinke faithfully served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy, during WWII. A Submarine veteran serving on the USS Spearfish and the Icefish. He was an active member of the USS Florida Base Submarine Veterans. He is also preceded in death by a son David Meinke. Dorothy was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1927 in Maryland to the late Earl E. and Berrell (Sions) Smith. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Charles T. Mrs. DiFrancesco is survived by her sons: Joseph DiFrancesco and Darren DiFrancesco both of Palm Coast, Florida and Adam DiFrancesco and wife Kathleen of Bayshore, New York; daughters: Mary Matutat of Daytona Beach, Florida, Suzanne Perry and husband Chris of Piscataway, New Jersey and Dawn DiFrancesco of Selden, New York; three brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; A Final Tribute Service will be 2 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Pam Stewart as officiant. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Alicia Dell Harris of Palatka died Saturday, December 25, 2011 at Kindred<br />
Hospital, Green Cove Springs, Florida after an extended illness.<br />
She was born in New York, but grew up in Jacksonville, FL. But resided in<br />
Putnam County most of her life. She enjoyed her family, her horses, commercial fishing but most of all she enjoyed spending all of her time with her husband of 48 years Layton Harris SR. She was preceded in death by: her parents I.J. Pemberton (Alice), her biological mother Barbara Williams, brother Hugh Wilkins, her son Layton Harris JR. She is survived by her husband Layton Harris SR., son Jeffrey Harris (Stacy), brother Irving Pemberton, sisters Cathy Ponds, Beth Wilkins, Susan Wilkins and Grandchildren, Layton Harris III, Samantha Harris, Megan Harris, Becky Robinson, Bubba Robinson. No public services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Alicia’s name to the Rodheaver Boys Ranch, 380 Boys Ranch Road, Palatka, Florida 32177. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Warren Jerome Brown 88, of Satsuma, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Putnam Community Medical Center in Palatka, Florida. Warren was born on Wednesday, June 27, 1923 in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania to the late Francis and Theresa Brown. Mr. Brown Proudly served his country faithfully in the U.S. Marines during WWII. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred (Lee) Brown, sons: Donald Brown and David Turner, brothers: Willard Brown, Wayne Brown, Walter Brown, sisters: Juanita McClelland, Louise Stanton and Charlotte Stanton. He attended First Baptist Church of Welaka, Florida and was a member of the V.F.W in Sayre, Pennsylvania, American Legion in Elmira Heights, New York and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Waverly, New York. He enjoyed his grandchildren, dancing and hunting. Mr. Brown worked for National Homes for over 30 years, he also owned and operated Beef Farm and Browns Saw Sharpening in East Smithfield, Pennsylvania. She is also preceded in death by her husband Barney James Lamb, brother, Herbert Odum and sisters, Ann Weathers and Ouida Mae Johnson. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.
