I have a facination with these eastern block cars so when I found this kit on Ebay I knew I had to have it. The kit is very basic about 20 parts at most. The kit is by a Czech company called Smer. The kit is 1/28 scale but looks close enough to 1/24 to me and it's not likely there is another kit out there of this subject?? The paint is John deere green with rust done with Triangle Crafts Sophisticated Finishes.

Toyota Hiace Caterpillar Service Van

This Kit started out as a right hand drive Tamiya Toyota Hiace Van. I converted the steering over to left hand drive by cutting the dash in half, and rebuilding it. I also changed out the mirrors added them from the Open Road camper kit. The interior from the seat back id all scratch built. There is a ton of cab junk so take a look. Johan Cadillac Coroner Vehicle

This is the Johan Cadillac Ambulance I converted over to a Coroner Car. I build this right out of the box. Only thing I added was the 2 body bags. This is actually the first kit I ever used Bare Metal Foil on I figured if I can pull off a Bare Metal Foil job on a car with this much chrome I can do any vehicle. The body bags are made with a cut up garbage bag wrapped around modelers clay.

I know what your thinking Trans am wagon ambulance What is he thinking??? Well her is a bit of a back story. In the late 90's my father and I used to go to the IMSA Palm Beach grand prix in West Palm Beach Florida. There used to be a fast response ambulance at the track it was actually a Porsche 928. Unfortunately I cannot find any pictures of it only thing I remember is there was a custom built stretcher built into the back of the car. When I saw this old
Airfix kit on eBay I new what I had to build. The kit is built straight out of the box I added the light bar and the medical stuff from the parts bin. The decals I made on a alps printer.

1969 Pontiac GTO Dirt track racer

This is a Revell 69 Pontiac GTO dirt track racer. I added a role cage from a old Nascar kit and with very little modification it fit like a glove. To add some racing miles to it I dirted up the car with pastel chalk and added some race damage.

Like a scene out of Goodfellas, the Sopranos, or any other mafia movie comes. Caught it the act the aftermath. Joey Bag a Donuts and Tony the nose where out in Jersey dumping a body in a hole in the field. Unfortunately the N.J. State troopers pulled up before the body could be buried. The Cadillac is a Revell 1/24 scale Lowrider I added wheels and tires from the johan ambulance. The Pontiac GTO is a Polar light 1/24 scale kit with Chimmneyville Nj state police decals. Figures are from Chimmneyville and an unknown manufacturer. The Diorama base is made of foam board and train layout grass and dirt.

This is a very interesting model from a unknown manufacturer. I built this right out of the box. I remember finding it on Ebay never seeing it before I knew I had to own it. The kit is very simple curb side. I think at one time as with most Japanese model this was suppose to be motorized, However this kit there was no motor present. The only problem I ran across with this kit is that when received the decals would not come off there paper backing so I ended up using Elmers glue to attach the decals. I also later found out that this is 1 in a series of carry vehicles.

If you can't spend that kinda money you can always build a Titanic model on a little smaller budget.

Revell makes a very nice Titanic in 1/57 scale. There is also a 1/400 R.M.S. TITANIC this is a massive kit but looks very nice

DEA Blackhawk Helicopter

This is the Chopper that flew over Giants stadium with the american flag attached to it September 5, 2002 the crowd went wild. The powerful UH-60L Black Hawk is the current production model of the U.S.Army's rugged air assault and utility transport helicopter. More than 1,600 UH-60s have been delivered to the U.S.Army so far, and more than 400 Black Hawks serve the armed forces of countries from Australia to Turkey. Production deliveries of the UH-60 to U.S.Army began in October 1978. The Black Hawk first went into combat in Operation Urgent Fury, the invasion of Grenada in October 1983. In the fierce battle to stabilize the Caribbean island, the heavy-duty control components, redundant control runs, and self-sealing fuel tanks of the Black Hawk proved their value.

This is my version of what a DEA Blackhawk intercepter would look like. I have no idea if the DEA even uses blackhawks. This the Academy 1/35 scale UH-60L. The decals where custom made on a alps printer. Unfortunatly this model did not make it threw the last move.

This is the Tamiya 1/24 scale Jägermeister Alfa Romeo. In 1993, theAlfa Romeo firm of Italy entered their 155 V6 Ti racing machine in the DTM: The teams overwhelming performance along with the cars spectacular achievements, dominated the 1993 season and won the DTM
constructor’s and driver’s titles. For the 1994 season, Alfa Romeo further tuned the 155 V6 Ti, in an attempt to counter the growing fleet of Mercedes-AMG C-Class machines. The Schübel Engineering racing team of Germany entered three ´94 models and one with´93 specifications.
Jägermeister, a German distillery, which is well known among motorsports fans for their deep involvement in motorsports, sponsored the ´93 spec 155 V6 Ti.

This is a real nice model. The build was a breeze typical Tamiya Quality. I painted this with Tamiya Orange right out of the can.
