No words are necessary to get the powerful message this video is portraying. Whenever I view it, I find it deeply moving and difficult to stop watching . The male figure, possibly the father/husband is suddenly involved in a major automobile accident that could have resulted in major injury or loss of life, but for the intervention of his (I am sassuming) his apparent spouse and daughter who act as, and are symbolic of a properly connected seat belt, he is spared. OIL PIPELINE BURST IN MARSHALL MICHIGAN

An oil pipeline burst in Marshall, Michigan causing more than a million gallons of oil to spill into the Talmadge Creek and the Kalamazoo River. Marshall is located in southern Michigan, east of Battle Creek and west of Albion. The spill occurred in July and has traveled down-river reaching the village of Augusta, which is roughly halfway between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, a distance of possibly 25 or 30 miles. Enbridge, Inc. (U.S. operations—headquartered in Houston, Texas) is the responsible oil pipeline company. Enbridge's goal is to keep the oil from reaching the dam at Morrow Lake, which is a few miles west of Augusta. Enbridge has committed a lot of resources and many people to clean up the oil spill. As with the gulf oil spill, many animals and birds have come in contact with the oil threatening their existance. Athough winter will soon arrive bringing with it cold temperatures and snow, Enbridge will continue working throughout the winter with limited operations, but will return in the Spring to finish the clean up.

At this time, Enbridge is hiring people classified as “Labor Technicians,” to help in the cleanup process. My understanding (based on information provided by my contacts who work for the county of Calhoun) is that the pay for those involved in the cleanup is good, and they are treated very well.

I thought of you when I acquired this information. If your job is ending or you are not working, or if you would like to enter into a new career that has a lot of opportunities, this may be a break for you and could be an exciting opportunity.

If you acquire the required training and are hired, many doors could be open to you in the future. I am told that when Enbridge is done cleaning up this oil spill in Marshall, Michigan, they will move to other troubled sites and qualified employees may go with them.

With the proper training, those who are certified will be in the market for and desired by other oil companies, oil pipeline companies and the like. This could be a great opportunity for someone wanting to be needed for their training/knowledge/experience.

If you are interested in such work, the minimum requirements to work in Michigan are the following:

1. Must be a Michigan Resident
2. Successful completion of a drug screen and physical
3. Proof of identity and employment authorization to work in the United States through the E-Verify system
4. Successful completion of background check
5. Valid identification cards, social security card
6. Completion of 40 hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training program

I have been informed that Michigan Works is offering HAZWOPER training.

He tried using his public position and status to his selfish advantage and now will most likely be embarrassed for a long time. Maybe being reduced to the status of a mere mortal human being will bring his feet back down to earth.

I cannot attend all of the games this season and am selling 4 of my University of Michigan season football tickets at face value. These are home games that will be played in the “BIG HOUSE” in Ann Arbor Michigan.

I have 2 seats on the north end of the stadium, section 36, row 85, seats 27 and 28 (just a few seats in from the aisle - easy in and out). They are great seats since it is easy to see everything on the field (people are not blocking your view).

NEWS: Michigan has increased ticket prices for the 2011 football season. Individual home game tickets are $70 for games against Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, San Diego State, Minnesota and Purdue. The night game against Notre Dame and the Nebraska and Ohio State games are considered "premium" games and are $85. This is the first time in seven years that U-M has raised football ticket prices.

I am aware of and understand the flying public's uproar about having to go through the United States Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) naked body scanners that can see through clothing, or subject themselves to an invasive body pat-down if they want to board an airplane. Although a recent CBS poll found that 81% of the Americans polled favor the use of such security tactics, they could result in explosive situations since this is such a highly sensitive issue.

Many opposing such "intrusive" airline actions are calling for a boycott of the airlines, but in this Global business environment, it is unrealistic to expect that airlines could be shut down and businesses survive. Flying is a must, like it or not. However, it should be realized that movements start slowly and then pickup steam as more and more people get on the band wagon. Just look at how the political Tea Party started and then began rolling like an out of control train. Give this thing time and things will happen. Already, there are groups banding together to attack it. And, many people have already committed to not fly. Let's see what happens when law-suits pour in over the violations regarding unreasonable search and seizures (4th Amendment to the United States Constitution).

As reported by Fox News: "News analyst Juan Williams' firing from National Public Radio for comments he made about being nervous when flying alongside devout Muslims has sparked a public outcry that includes calls for investigations and a cut in public funding to the broadcaster."

Talk about "Political Correctness" gone wild, this is more proof that we in America are slowly losing our right to voice our opinions, known as free speech, and the country is fast being overtaken by the whims of Muslims, represented by CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations). I don't always agree with Juan Williams, but after working for NPR for more than ten years, his firing for expressing a personal feeling without even a chance to meet face to face with his NPR superiors is low-down, unfair, and cowardly.

I am so sick of this political correctness crap in America. Juan Williams is also a Fox News Analyst. A lot of people believe Fox News is strictly conservative, which is not entirely true. I believe Mr Williams is fair and if anything, I think he often leans more to the left, which should satisfy liberals. There is also an obvious double standard going on in America. How come people like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, Black Panther leadership, NAACP, ACLU and the like are able to express their "feelings," but others cannot? There SHOULD BE ripple effects as one of my follerwers suggests.

Let his critics criticize him, moan, complain and accuse all they want, but who is listening? I could care less if Glenn Beck is making some money from his business ideas and endeavors, what counts is he is finally someone who has made an effort to awaken the silent majority in this country and is successfully motivating them to act for decent values and ideals. Our country has been controlled by a highly vocal, complaining and selfish minority (black, white and others) for too long. It is time for more inspiring motivators, such as Glenn Beck and the likes of Sarah Palin to move the silent majority into action! The following is a narrative taken from a 2008 Sunday morning televised "Meet The Press'. The author (Dale Lindsborg) is employed by the very liberal Washington Post!!

On Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Ginn' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It".

'Senator' Obama replied:
"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression...” "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. If that were our anthem, then, I might salute it. In my opinion, we should consider reinventing our National Anthem as well as 'redesign' our Flag to better offer our enemies hope and love. It's my intention, if elected, to disarm America to the level of acceptance to our Middle East Brethren. If we, as a Nation of warring people, conduct ourselves like the nations of Islam, where peace prevails - - - perhaps a state or period of mutual accord could exist between our governments ."

“When I become President, I will seek a pact of agreement to end hostilities between those who have been at war or in a state of enmity, and a freedom from disquieting oppressive thoughts. We as a Nation, have placed upon the nations of Islam, an unfair injustice which is WHY my wife disrespects the Flag and she and I have attended several flag burning ceremonies in the past".
