intense boredom and a stint of unemployment I cut my hair. Yes, a lot of people cut their hair, but I
had dreads. Long, heavy, eight year old
healthy dreads. Anyway…I will save you
all of the gory details, but the result was a whole new look and with it an instant
need for an entirely new hair care regimen.

I ended up going with the Bumble and bumble Wear and care upon
the suggestion of another friend who needed a hair boost after color gone
wrong. Wear and Care includes a mending
line for the truly damaged and quenching for the terribly thirsty. Post locs I need a lot of more hydration and
protection for my hair and this product penetrates into the cortex (the center
part of the hair) without weighing it down.
These products are for all hair types and can be mixed and matched
according to need.

Hold on. I'm getting verklempt. The interminably crappy weather may be depressing, but there are ways to bring some cheer. This rain coat is adorable and vintage and not too expensive and will keep you dry. At this point, what more can we expect out of life?

during my graduate school days. My tiny
studio apartment could only muster up but so much appeal and style. Never
underestimate, though, the power of a good candle to distract you from your current
squalor. The Bali Candle, Champaca
Flower can do just that. Unlike many
other candles that light up just to disappoint, these candles fill the entire
room with the soft delicate scent of Bali. The long lasting candle burns up to
60 hours. So make your favorite
cocktail, light your candle and float away to the tropics—if only for a little
while.
