Wow, it's been a while since our last post. Chloé is all grown up now at 2 years and a couple of months. She's become such a lovely sweet and gentle dog, we love her so much!

Here's a video of her first trip to the beach a couple of weeks ago. She drank so much sea she was sick! Hopefully she's realised that's not a good idea now!

Chloé Rescues a Kitten

We were in the park and Chloé found an abandoned kitten, it was so cute we decided to take it in for the night and find it a new home. Ok, so a kitten and what still seems to be a german shepherd puppy in fully grown body in a small flat isn't a good mix, but surprisingly for one night is was ok. Chloé was extremely excited about it but did get a few swipes on the nose from the kitten when she got too close.

Sorry for the poor quality photos, but we thought we would post them on here anyway, they are rather cute.

Hi everyone, sorry we've not posted for a few weeks. Chloé had been spayed recently and we've been extra cautious with her but we took her out for a proper walk in the park this weekend and although she got quite tired in the hot sun she loved every minute of it. The spaying went very smoothly, there were no issues and we were amazed how quickly she recovered and was her normal self again... literally the next day.

We went for a walk in the woods today with Bella, the weather wasn't great... it was a bit muddy... Bella seemed to have picked up a bad habit of rolling in the mud... you'll see... it made us laugh.

The weather was freezing but the sun was out and we had a really nice walk in the woods. We let Chloé off the lead for the whole walk (the first time we'd done that in the woods) and she behaved beautifully.

For those of you who don't know, 'Sonsaras Sunshine' is Chloé's pedigree name, and she really is a little ray of sunshine. She's currently going through her first heat at the age of 7 months and is becoming a big girl in both maturity and size!

Chloé went out in the snow for the first time last weekend. She loved it! I really don't remember ever seeing this much snow in the UK in November, I dug out all my snowboarding gear and we went out to play!

We took Chloé and Prince to a big field to let them off for the first time, it was quite scary to let her off in such a big space! I ran ahead first and then called her to me, happily she just ran straight over. We did that a couple more times and then decided to finish on a good note!
