no-1's latest, the Kreuzberg EP collects 4 hype new tracks - two tracks recorded with producers in Berlin, Germany last summer, as well as two solo productions - a moody instrumental and an ambient pop track featuring vocals from Swedish singer Henrik Mattson.

"stories are people too" is the first release on our label - an amazing avant hip-hop record from montreal artist no-1. after mc'ing with canadian hip-hop live band The Front and working with electronic/hip-hop trio Damage Control, this is his solo debut. the record is all self-produced beats - with crisply cracking drums, dark moody soundscapes, and abstract intelligent lyrics. as an MC, no-1's flow is full of buried narratives & kinetic word play, but you'll need some repeated listens to catch the references to Murakami, Deleuze, & Nabokov. this is a great album to bliss out to for some head-nodding headphone listening - or to bump up on the speakers when the Prefuse, Dabrye, and Boom Bip style breaks drop in. Heavy, dense, intelligent, and amazing.
