Day 5 of NYFW has just begun, and it's already fantastic. I went to the Carlos Miele show this morning and saw a ton of gold detailing which of course I loved. Next up is Reem Acra and then tonight is Style360's opening party with Jonathan Chaban, woot! Oh, and I'm really loving my outfit today because of the mint green and metallic contrast. Mint/Jade might just be my new favorite color.

Yesterday was the opening of Socialyte Collective's brand new Blogger Lounge! Attendees included Annabelle of VivaLuxury, Natalie of NatalieoffDuty as well as her sister Dylana of ColorMeNana, Justin of Munrowe, Claire of Delune, Jenni of ISPYDIY, and Andy of StyleScrapbook. The Blogger Lounge features wi-fi, a full time hair & makeup stylist provided by ULTA COSMETICS, Babyliss Pro, Caboodles, DDF Skincare and a closet filled with designs from over 50 contributing brands such as Walter, Bobi, Kensie, and Radley London. The opening was blast as top bloggers and digital influencer's passed through getting their hair done by Arrojo stylists and leaving with a Rebecca Minkoff bag.

Christina of TropRouge, Aimee from SongofStyle, and Carolina from FashionSquad (first picture)- three of the fashion industry's top bloggers, and girls I look up to. They are all dressed in the latest Rebecca Minkoff collection, which by the way, the show this afternoon was amazing! A very long day 2 of NYFW has finally come to an end, JUST KIDDING. Time to get ready for the Currently Obsessed Top Influencer's of 2011 party tonight at Soho House! Can't to finally meet the girls behind Reward Style. Someone please give me a 24 hour energy shot.

Last night I went to the Andrew Bucker FW12 Preview and the StyleLikeU House Party to kick off New York Fashion Week. Andrew Buckler is one of my favorite menswear lines that blends American icon with Brit edge; if you've been watching that new show Remodeled then you've seen a bit of one of the fashion shows. Party hopping on the LES, I met up with the Socialyte crew at SyleLikeU's pre-fashion week party. We were joined my Claire Geist of Delune, Natalie Suarez of NatalieOffDuty, and Justin Livingston of Munrowe. It was a blast to say the least.

Back to work, back to school, loving the structure in my life again. It was so nice out today in NYC, almost 60 and sunny! I randomly found this dress in my closet this morning and really wanted to give it a little edge: I'm infactuated with floral prints and leather (thank you Chelsea for letting me borrow your jacket hehe). Pairing something that's usually creates such a soft look with something totally opposite can create an awesome outfit. Don't be afraid to pair those dots and stripes next time your getting dressed! If there was ever a time to be bold, its now.

So here I am, with my newly revived hair! No one does it better than Arrojo Salon, and I'm loving my drastic OMBRE (isn't that such a fun word). The sheer blouse I'm wearing was a long-sleeve chiffon button-up from American Apparel but, I cut the sleeves off so it's easier to wear under sweaters - and it makes for a great vest too. I couldn't help but laugh at how playful these two models were being while I tried to take their picture today, and obviously they're gorgeous.
