Billed as a personal weather station that beams environmental data up to the cloud then down to a colorful smartphone app sounds like a dream come true. At $180 sure it's a little pricey, but the fun of weather is measuring your own and on your own time.

For the $180 you get a large indoor AC-powered cylinder which measures indoor noise level, CO2, humidity, and temperature. A small outdoor unit, powered by four AAA batteries, measures temperature and humidity. You read the data with an app on your phone. We like the outdoor noise level monitoring to give you an idea of the environment the station is in.
