Nothing around our home beckons the arrival of warm weather more than the appearance of these prawns. We love them! It's one of those time, I'll dent the grocery budget and go all out for the largest, biggest, colossal prawns I can find. And find I did. These lovelies are best marinated several hours if not overnight in a delicious blend of soy sauce, oil, finely chopped garlic, an overload of sriracha with just...<div class="feedflare">

Ever found chasing your foods with a fork, vexing? Peas are devious little things. And so are bits of ham. Which is perhaps why in delicious and quick version of pasta with ham and peas, I've cut the ham into thin slivers about the length of the pasta. Easy on my nerves, happy in my belly! When it comes to the peas, the ricotta cheese does a marvelous job, glueing those delightful morsels with flavorful sauce. And make no mistake, this sauce is delish - the rubbed sage is essential and so is the hint of nutmeg. The combination of...<div class="feedflare">

Meet Maharashtra's favorite brunch - Batata Poha. Batata Poha is a quick saute of flattened rice a.k.a beaten rice and potatoes scented and flavored with curry leaves &amp; chillies and tempered with cumin &amp; mustard seeds in hot oil. Beaten rice is de-husked rice which is flattened into flat light dry flakes. Poha or flattened rice can be purchased at any Indian or Pakistani store and is ready to use straight out of the bag. It is important to purchase the right kind of poha for the right dish though. This one requires the fat variety as the thin variety...<div class="feedflare">
