But in this verses, when the Israelites were afraid because Moses brought them out of Egypt, they asked so many questions to him. In response to their questions, Moses answered them with this verses. It applies to us too. We should not lose hope because our God is a great God. We have to be strong in our faith and hold on to Him. We still have to praise Him in the storm and believe that He will provide us with what we need. He will restore what we have lost and our God is a great provider. He will fight for us no matter what. We just have be strong, pray hard, believe and see the wonders of His mighty hands.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:8 (NIV)

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse:

This verse is related to the memory verse yesterday. It's about loving others. All of us have experienced loving someone, like our grandparents, mom, siblings, dad, friends, special friends, and many others. But the love for God is the most important of all. Love is a powerful and the most beautiful thing to have and to experience. It warms our hearts and usually gives us happiness. When we know how to love God, ourselves and others, we can say that we are obedient children of God because we are following His greatest commandments.

Bible verse of the day...1 John 4:7 (NIV)

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Most people celebrate valentines day with their love ones and express their love for one another on different ways. In this verse, God commands us to love each other regardless of our religion, gender, economic status or cultural backgrounds, not only on this month but for rest of our lives. Our love for one another should be pure, sincere and should be expressed everyday. We must show our brethren that we care for each other because that is what God command us to do. May we all realize the importance of loving our neighbors as we love our selves because our God in heaven is a God of love.

Bible verse of the day...Psalm 84:11 (NIV)

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Oftentimes, we make plans on so many things as if it will all happen in our own terms. However, that is not always the case. In making plans we must always ask God's will to happen. He holds everything in His hands. God would not allow His children to go astray, so, His will always prevails regardless of anything. If He sees that our plans will help us become closer to Him and makes us better individuals, He might allow our plans to happen. But when if it is detrimental to us, obviously, it will never happen. God is the master of the universe, the King of all kings, and His purpose or plan always prevails for the good of mankind and for His glory.

Bible verse of the day... Psalm 22:5 (NIV)

They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. But that is part of God's plan to mold him and to make him stronger. Sometimes with God's guidance and grace, we are able to solve it easily. However, there are times that it is so difficult to handle and we could not understand the situation or what is going on. But we should not be dismayed. In this verse, it helps us reflect that once we turn our eyes to God and humbly ask for His help, we are never disappointed. He hears our petitions, fears, cries, frustrations, and everything that is in our hearts. Our God is an Almighty God, a merciful and loving King. He loves His children and only He can save us from all kinds of situations. He is the source of our strength and courage to face our individual battles. We must trust and believe Him always until the end of our days because with God we are more than conquerors.

Bible verse of the day...Psalm 29:2 (NIV)

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. I have seen some testimonies about the greatest of God from other people and it was very inspiring to me. I don't know if I have thank God enough for everything He has given me. From good things to trying moments. I must say that God is giving me some test at the moment. A very difficult test. However, it won't stop me from holding on to Him and calling out His name. I won't stop making testimonies and reflections despite this difficult time. I would still proclaim His greatness to every soul who can read my blog. I would still sing a worship and praise song to Him. Even if He take my life I won't stop telling the world His goodness. Jesus is the only true God and He is the only way to salvation. Whatever that may be experiencing we should not forget that He is there extending His hand to us. All we have to do is reach out. We may fall down sometimes but we should stand up because God has never give up on us. God is always good and He loves us more than anyone else. When we feel so down, let us call on to Him and He will comfort us. I know that because He has done that to me. I pray that whoever is sick, afraid, depressed or feeling helpless at this point, may God bring them peace and comfort in His love. Praise be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God bless everyone who love Him more than themselves.

Bible verse of the day...2 Corinthians 8: 5 (NIV)

And they did not do as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us in keeping with God's will. 2 Corinthians 8: 5 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse

In whatever we do, we must give ourselves to God. He should be our top priority and then, follow what He commands us to do. Sometimes with all the problems we encounter along the way and trying to overcome the pain we go through, we question God about it. However, bearing in mind that God will not give us something which we cannot bear, it makes me realize that I have to give my all to God first and do what He commands me to do. Then, everything else will follow. I pray that may God give us the strength and wisdom to endure all the suffering and sacrifices He has given us at this point in our lives. He must be able to lead them the proper and decent way of living. Discipline is very important in every home. Children sometimes doesn't know what they are doing and the role of the parents is crucial to their development. The guidance of a father is important to a child as he grows older. A father must be a role model to his child. Meaning he must live according to God's law and his ways should be based on the principles of the bible. A child may commit mistakes and a father should be firm with his discipline. However, should be gentle and calm in dealing with it.

Bible verse of the day...Romans 8: 28 (NIV)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Oftentimes we ask God WHY it has to happen or sometimes others blame God for it. Whatever is going on with us, we should try to understand that God has a plan for each of us and it's for the best. It might hurt us in the process but in time when we look back we will realize the importance of that situation. It usually teaches us a lesson and help us become stronger spiritually, emotionally and mentally. Each of us has his calling and God merely directs us to the path which will lead us to our purpose. Therefore, let us trust God and hold on to our faith.

Bible verse of the day...James 1:12 (NIV)

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. Luke 12:48 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse

The verse is familiar to most of us. When God gives blessings to all, the bible says that to whom much is given, much is required and to whom much more is given, much more is required. I think this verse is applicable with our work and our tithing. For instance, if a man is placed to a higher position whether it be in a private or public entities, people expect much from him when it comes to his performance with his work. There is so much trust given to him from God and he should do his best with it. The same with the blessings we receive everyday. We should give to God what is due to Him. Not lesser than what we receive because everything that we have comes from God.

Bible verse of the day...Proverbs 16:28 (NIV)

A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends. I admire a community which its members help each other during calamities or such. God says in this verse that we must not be proud of who we are but rather we must be able to mingle with our brothers who are less fortunate than us. It is a good feeling when we spend time with friends or fellow brothers and helping them out in time of need. A humble heart makes God happy and He gives abundant blessings to the person who owns it.

Bible verse of the day...Proverbs 29:23 (NIV)

A man's pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor. There are times that we simply forget that and sometimes when we are angry we used it to say bad things toward other people or about life in general. In this verse God reminds us to use our mouth properly and wisely.

Bible verse of the day...Romans 13:9 (NIV)

The commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Romans 13:9 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse

God gave us the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) and this verse mentioned them again. However, God says that loving our neighbor is an important law and we should remember it always. I think when we love our neighbors, we can't hurt them by committing all these crimes, i.e. adultery, murder, stealing and others. Further, when we love someone we always try to do what is right and pleasing to him / her. Hence, loving others like we love ourselves is a good thing for us and also to God.

Bible verse of day...John 15:16 (NIV)

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. John 15:16 (NIV)

My reflection of the verse

Jesus is telling us that He has chosen us to serve Him and wanted us to do something good that would glorify His name. There are many ways to do great things for God. One of them is helping others to be near Him. For instance, we can invite others to go to church with us especially members of the family or our friends. I think when we do that we are bearing fruit that will last because if we gain one or more soul for God who will commit sincerely to Him, God will be pleased. Jesus also said that whatever we ask in His name His father in heaven will give it. Therefore, when we ask Him something, then, we should know that He has already given us what we have prayed for.

Bible verse of the day...Jeremiah 32:17 (NIV)

"Ah, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Sometimes we can't even think any possible solution to a problem. But we must remember that our Almighty God is the God of the impossible. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Most of the people from around the world now a days suffer financially. But God is faithful and continue to shower His blessings on us daily. Some may not have much but enough to sustain them daily. There are also many people sick with cancer and other illness. Like in my family, four of my aunts have cancer and on cancer treatment. But I could say that we are still blessed because God uses others as instruments to help them get through with it, i.e. doctors and nurses who help them in their treatments and many organizations who support cancer patients. What I'm saying here is that, no matter how hopeless our situation might be, we just have to trust God for His mercy and grace. He can do anything for us provided we believe in Him.

Bible verse of the day...Psalm 139:9-10 (NIV)

"If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
