Creattica is a gallery of great design and inspiration. Their logo page features more than 1,600 logos, so it isn’t small by any stretch. Each day, great new logos are posted to the site.

2. Logo Faves

Logo Faves features the ability to search through more than 400 logos that haven been posted to date. You can suggest your own logos to add to the site. They set themselves apart by only displaying some of the best logos created.

3. LogoPond

LogoPond features one of the largest collections of logos around. They currently have several thousand logos, and that could be putting the figure rather conservative. Within the footer area of the site, you can find the top uploaders and most favorited logos.

4, DeviantART

I figure you’ve been to DeviantART, a site for artists and designers, before. They have an area specifically for logo sand logotypes on their site, under the Designs and Interfaces category. Some of the work might just be logotypes, but it can still offer some great inspiration.

There are multiple forms of inspiration at this site, with awesome fresh logos that have recently been added to the site. Great site for submitting your work to that you have created.

6. Brands of the World

Brands of the World features a large collection of logos, from brands around the world. It might not be the best place to look for inspiration due to how frequently it is updated, as some of the logos can become quite generic. You can do an advanced search by category, author, countries, etc.

7. Logofi

Submit your logo to Logofi or browse through the hundreds of fresh logos on the site. You can “Logofi Up” the logos to rank them or leave your comments. The site is clean and well-designed, which makes it a plus in the world of bad-designed sites.

8. LogoGallery

Add a logo to LogoGallery or browse through hundreds of designs already on the site. The site is newer compared to some of the other sites, but still offers a good collection of logos.

9. StationeryStyle

StationeryStyle contains various inspiration from around the web like T-shirts, typography, and brochures, but also showcases logos elegantly with a clean and functional design. It would be nice if there were other ways to browse through the logos rather than just search and different views.

10. Logolog

Logolog is a blog about logo design, but you won’t just find the logo showcase seen above. Clicking on each logo will display information about it and how it was used/designed.

This site may not be in English, but it features plenty of well-designed logos from around the world for you to check out.

5. Ajaxian

Twittlink is similar to some of the other services, offering a retweet button, but appears to focus more on getting you right to your source. When you click the main link to each story, you are taken directly to the blog or website where you can find it at. You can also view and share upcoming stories, from a wide variety of languages as well as specific forms of content. The site doesn’t sort the stories into enough categories, in my opinion, but this makes it simpler to use.

9. Wowd

Another real-time search engine for discovering what is popular on the web, you’ll be able to see what is popular across the entire web, rather than from just a few sites. In a sense, it is more than just for Twitter, as most other aggregators/ranking tools base it mainly on Twitter. The search engine is focused on ranking stories by real people, compared to web crawlers or other ranking methods. Search results were fairly reliable, but some work could still be done.

10. CrowdEye

CrowdEye is a powerful, custom-built social search engine that provides all the best content from around the web, aggregating it onto a single website. In my opinion, the interface and layout could certainly use some work, as it looks more like a regular news site at this point, rather than a real-time search engine.

11. Sency

Discover what is going on around the web with Sency, a service that focuses solely on search. Simply enter a term that you want to learn more about (what is happening now), and relevant results will be delivered from real people, with spam filters and other tools built into the tool. You can click on “Today’s Popular Links” to see how many mentions of each topic there were.

12. OneRiot

OneRiot features a set of tools that developers can use, including APIs and apps, while the main focus of the site is on aggregating and finding the content that people are sharing across the web. Basic search features are included at the top of the page, while you need to go down to the bottom for trending topics.

13. Streamy

Recommended stories and activity from friends will appear in the sidebar, while the main area will display the stories that interest you. Keyboard shortcuts can be used. Widgets, networking, and chat have also been built into the service, although it would be better if another method of ranking the stories could be integrated.

14. Surchur

Called the ultimate dashboard “to right now,” this site allows you to view what is constantly updating and what topics are trending throughout the web. You can narrow down the search results by blogs, social web, news, pictures, video, and products for a better search experience.

15. TipTop

Again, this service does some things right, but they are obscured by everything it does wrong. For one, the interface is extremely cluttered with too much information. It displays related topics, a related content slider, shopping links, latest tweets, and “relevant” tweets. However, the tweets also haven’t been updated for some time, so the site quickly loses relevancy.

16. dailyRT

This site aggregates some of the most popular stories and links on the web. For example, for most basic searches you will be able to filter your results by links, videos, or images, and also select a range for the number of followers the person has (min to max), making it great for finding people who may be in “your range” of popularity. Most retweeted users and links are displayed in the sidebar.

17. YourVersion

Called the best way to discover new and relevant content tailored to your interests, the service will can also help you do the following: discover news, blogs, webpages, tweets, videos, and products, easily share them through various services, and organize pages by interest.

18. Twazzup

Discover the hottest trends on Twitter, real-time tweets for your favorite topics, as well as a single recommended tweet, which is great if you don’t want to sort through thousands of tweets. A preview and on-site tweet feature are also available to make sharing even easier.

19. Twittorati

Twittorati may not fit the definition of real-time for search, but it helps you discover topics that the “top” bloggers are talking about and it also lets you follow the trending topics.

20. almost.at

Pretend you’re at a conference or meeting with almost.at, which lets you see the tweets, posts, and photos/videos that have been posted from at an event using hashtags.

21. Amplify

Find popular content from your favorite topics, as well as related topics. A bookmarklet is also available to make it easy to “amplify” what you’re reading on the web.

Listorious may not be a real-time search engine, but it can help find relevant users on Twitter, discover the top tags used, and find new people with interesting messages/tweets.

It allows you to easily track and measure what people are saying about you, your company, or any other topics. You no longer need to go to Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, YouTube, and all the other sites to find what you are looking for.

Honestly, this is one of the cleanest, but mot informative sites out there in this category. For example, when I type in “web design,” I can see the strength, sentiment, passion, reach, number of seconds average per mention, how many people are talking about it, the number of retweets, how people feel about the subject, top related keywords, and more. CSV documents can also be downloaded, RSS updates can be created, and results can be further sorted. The search still needs some work – I’d like to actually see more popular Twitter content appear there.
