That's because leadership is about going somewhere. People look to their leaders for vision and direction.

We have a two-part webinar designed specifically for existing and aspiring executive leaders that will show you how creating a clear and inspiring vision is not an activity that can be checked off a list. It's one of the most critical ongoing roles of a successful leader.

Watch the WebEx.

It means the difference between high and average performance, whether it's an entire organization, a department, or a team.

Ken Blanchard has spent more than 30 years helping leaders and organizations become and stay great. With Ken's guidance, you'll learn that today's leaders need to provide their people with a compelling vision that starts everything in the right direction, a picture of the future that people can actually see and clear values that define the way employees act on a day-to-day basis while doing their work.

Ken will also show you that great leadership starts with looking at yourself and sharing who you are and what you stand for. In the second half of this presentation, you'll learn why it is important to identify your beliefs about leadership and how these beliefs will impact your work relationships with the people who report to you. In this WebEx, Ken will show you how to identify the influencers in your life, claim the core values that guide your behavior as a leader and surface your beliefs about leading and motivating people.

Watch the WebEx now.

Whether you lead a team, a department, or an entire division, you will walk away from this event inspired, motivated, and ready to lead your group forward in the coming year.

Game On: Managing Multi-Regulatory Compliance

Ug. Staying in compliance with a regulatory agency is stressful.

It requires a level of attention to detail that is difficult, time-consuming and challenging. But we have help for you. Chris Lennon, Senior Product Manager, SilkRoad Technology Inc. has recorded a WebEx that will walk you through real-world examples of organizations like yours that rely on training to stay in compliance.

Watch the WebEx

You’ll see what steps you can take to remain compliant and identify areas of concern. Whether your regulations are government-imposed or vendor requirements, being able to easily identify who requires training, who is at risk and who is late is critical. Don’t let spreadsheets, lack of resources and human error cause you to pay fines or, worse yet, shut your doors.

To watch this WebEx, you don't need to download any software or be a WebEx subscriber. These online recordings are free and accessible 24x7 - so you can get what you need, when you have time to view it. Load your WebEx recordings on Together@WebEx.
Note the URL for each one so you can easily find them (it takes about 24 hours for the search engine to populate so you'll need to grab the URLs for the short term). We are in early beta so right now, what you post can't be edited. That should change very shortly.

2. Share your links with others.
Posts can be rated and shared so do that! Use the tools to drive traffic to your recording.

3. Be creative. Promote your business!
Here's a great first recording to share. Pick a presentation you've done before, jump on WebEx and record yourself giving it. We find a standalone preso of 10 minutes or less is about right unless you have a really compelling preso. You can load your slides into the WebEx and be sure to use your telephone to call in for the best audio quality. We have a lot of tips in this blog.

Our only caveat: please keep the content appropriate.
This site is open to the general public. Please post content that you would share with your grandmother and your child. Anything you post is available via our search engine, so only post information you want to share with everyone.

Remember, this is a beta and you are absolutely helping us test this. We will be rolling out incremental improvements in the days and weeks to come. If you have comments or feedback, drop us a note via our Facebook page. We'd love to hear from you.

We meet about twice a year where he reviews my investments and helps me plan for my child's college years, my retirement and even my mom's golden years since I am on the hook to make sure they stay "golden."

But I get frustrated that we have been meeting mostly via phone call. I have to keep up with email attachments he's sent. It's confusing enough to me already; having to figure out what he's looking at adds to the challenge.

So this time, I blew his mind.

I insisted on using WebEx for an online meeting. I made him dial in and share his desktop so he could show me what I should be looking at! He could actually point to the meaningful parts of the graphical story and then we used webcams so we could see each other at the end of the video conference!

Daily Finance has a great article today on "Making a Financial Comeback After a Setback" and one of their points is to get financial help. The good news: you don't have to be limited to those around you. I got many recommendations before I found the very wise John. If being geographically close had been a requirement, we'd never be in business together.

Thankfully, tools like WebEx make the distance a non-issue. If you haven't tried it, jump in. You can use the free trial to have as many meetings as you like.

With high-quality video, trainers are starting to enhance the remote training experience – adding face-to-face and new visual dimensions that weren't possible previously.

Join our experts, Richard Nantel, Co-CEO of Brandon Hall Group, and Cisco eLearning Specialist Linda Uli, as they review the results of a new market study on how organizations are using video for training.

They will discuss innovation today and how they believe video will evolve. They will walk you through best practices on effectively applying video to your virtual classrooms. Dominic Lau from the USC Distance Education Network will share lessons learned from the Viterbi School of Engineering, as they were early adopters of WebEx high quality video for their online classes.
