How to insert a widget on my page?

Widgets are inserted into a Webnode page via an embedded code or HTML code. This code is usually displayed by clicking “Add/Add to webpage”, “Get Widget” or ”Get Embed Code”.

Once you have copied the code, only replace the phrase in quotes that you want displayed, and enter the URL of the site where the visitor (who does not meet your requirements) will be redirected. Be sure to keep the quotes for both the message text and the web address.

Publish and it’s ready

As you publish the changes, the pop-up window starts being displayed. Remember, you can create pop-ups on any of your pages or subpages. However, note that this type of automated messages can scare your visitors and make them leave your site. So we recommend its use only for cases where it is really necessary.

Please note that this process will be valid for templates for personal websites only in the following categories: A, G, J, O, Q, and S. (It’s possible also for templates H, I, P, and R, but the change will only be reflected in the template’s lower half.) Other types of templates do not have a simple background, which does not allow color alteration.

Follow these 3 steps:

1. In Webnode’s editor, click “Web Template” and select “Advanced settings”. Now go to “Edit CSS”.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the coded text and paste in the following code:

The color is defined by the alphanumeric code (letters and numbers). In our example, this code is FF0000.
This code is all you need to modify, for your background color to change. (Do not change the hash # and the semicolon! :)

3. How to modify the code to the color you want? Just go to the website colorschemedesigner.com, choose a color, and copy the code called ”RGB” to paste in the CSS.
If you find it difficult to find your desired color on the page, you can use alternative colorpicker.com.
