Together with my blogmate Zenkx of lokako.blogspot.com, we test their Wifi connection with gadgets that we brought along. I brought my trusty and rusty HTC Wizard while Zenkx brought her Compaq lappie.

I joyfully watched her as she torment the wifi connection via Limewire downloads, playing Cabal Online, watching Youtube videos and posting on her blog. Whew! She gave the SM WiFi a run for their money haha!

I wasn’t able to capture some good shot on my camera yesterday. Good thing I got CoolCapture application by Ateksoft on my HTC. I was able to grab what’s on my PDA’s screen while browsing. Its my Facebook!

Seriously, where are all the good RPG’s in PS2’s nowadays?

I’ve been looking for hours at the mall trying to find a decent game for my PS2 and still nothing. Good thing there are lots of games for the Xbox or downloads for the PSP. Its nice to see some of the games I already finished on our PS2 still at the racks.

Though I find it annoying to think that gamers like myself spend so much to buy consoles only to find that it’ll be out of date in the next few years. Our PS2 cost almost 12,000 pesos when we first bought it. And now, it’s like the same price as the PSP!

How I wish, Sony and other console creators should make, like, a recall program or something. Like if you don’t want your console anymore, you can trade it in for the console you want at the same price. That’ll be really cool. Or maybe they should start converting PS2 and Xbox games for the PSP. Lord knows I want to play Final Fantasy X on the PSP.

Oh well, I think I’ll just take my frustrations out on my brother’s Guitar Hero controller.

It’s all these people who are trying to get me to buy or drink all these crap that’s “supposed” make me thin.

I mean, seriously, I know I’m fluffy, but I don’t need any toxic junk to make me thin. I don’t care if you say “Oh, this drink is ephedra free” or “this drug made me lose a lot of weight”. That thing has drugs in it to MAKE you thin. And drugs, if taken on high dosages, can lead to health issues. I don’t want to take something that can give me health issues when I’m already trying to deal with another.

Probably the only thing I want so I could get thin… is own room. Honestly. I have a yoga mat and I know some yoga poses I can do. The problem is I have a sister who does not appreciate the benefits of yoga and bellydance, and laughs her head off when I even try to do a bellydance shimmy. So yeah, I need my own room where I can do a downward dog without anyone laughing, or do shimmies without anyone miming that there’s an earthquake because I’m dancing. If I have my own room and I can work out in there without anyone laughing, I swear, I’ll be as sexy as a centerfold girl… but probably not as pretty.

It’s finding the right clothes for my size.

It’s really annoying when I have to go to clothing stores only to find that the really cute blouse I wanted doesn’t come in my size. At one time, I was looking at this really beautiful chiffon blouse and I asked a sales lady if they got it in my size. She forced a smile and gave me a look that said, “Like heck you goin’ to fit in there, tubby”.

I swear, if I could just sew and design my own clothes, I would make a wholesale clothing store for fluffy people that includes gothic lolita costumes and anime clothes. Heck, maybe I’ll put in an extra aluminum bat to allow chubby people to bash the heads of sales ladies like the ones I had the misfortune to meet when shopping.

Maybe I should try and save up for a sewing machine. Yeah, that would be cool. Then I’d make like a Vincent Valentine cape thing and just glower at people mysteriously… it’ll look good with my mask. XD

So it’s like this.

My brother is a total weirdo. I mean it. He’s all quiet and silent, he rarely speaks his mind, and he talks with a really low voice… Which is why it’s funny when he makes a face.

Today, he made a really ugly face that made me bust a gut laughing and made me wish I had a camera or something. He pursed his lips, crossed his eyes and enlarged his nostrils that made him look like a total gorilla. And what made it even more funny was that he was holding a banana (the really big, yellow ones). My mom laughed so hard, and my sister actually choked on her drink from laughing. I actually SNORTED when I saw his face. And believe me people, I rarely snort when I laugh.

Anyway, it kind of made me wish I had a really great camcorder, kind of like the ones in our office where you can actually snap pictures while taking a video. I could post his gorilla picture on my desk as a quick gut buster to get me through the day, especially nowadays.

I guess for now I’ll keep it in my memory… so for those here in my work place, if I start laughing for no reason, don’t be alarmed. I probably just remembered my brother’s monkey face. XD

I kind of miss belly dancing. Oh wait, I’ll rephrase that… I really missed belly dancing. It’s like one of the best workouts I ever had when I was studying it, way back when I had a gym membership (that and yoga). Unfortunately, ever since my mom canceled my membership, I stopped. And it’s a real shame, since I actually felt like I was pretty good at it.

I actually had to research it too. It turns out that bellydance and yoga are some of the top fat burners for women my size… you know, the extra fluffy size. Not to mention that both exercises are good training for the one another. Yoga is good for belly dance, and belly dance is good for yoga, since they target the right muscles in improving postures for both.

Hmm… now that I think about it, maybe I should get my yoga mat back out from my closet. Yoga is great for home exercise, since you don’t need any heavy equipment. All you need is a yoga mat and some comfy clothes and you’re good to go.

Actually, you also need someone who thinks it’s not funny when you do yoga. That’s what I need anyway. Having someone around the house laughing her butt off while you do a downward dog is a real pain when you’re working out.

I remember flashing my 256mb PQI flash drive at the office 4 years ago. That time it was such a hot gadget. Not only of its price but because of its usefulness. I got it first at the office, when all of my officemates are still using floppy diskettes haha. Although its broken right now, it serves me well for about 2 years. I’m glad that I’d recovered all my files before it went pffft!

With flash drive getting bigger and bigger nowadays, and rediculously getting cheaper too. The price of my 256mb before can now buy me at least 4 or 5 pcs of a 4GB flash drive. Wow! That cheap! Today, the biggest I think is the 128GB flash drive manufactured by Kingston. Its not that cheap as of this moment. I wonder if it can replace my 40GB oldie hard drive on my desktop.

I remember the time I first heard your songs Michael Jackson. Your such a pretty young thing during the Jackson 5 era! And an outstanding performer on the Thriller MTV. You rock my world instantly. The way you make me feel when listening to your music is wonderful. Through your song I feel like im one with human nature, sometimes I want to rock with you, and sometimes I become a smooth criminal. You are the coolest and the baddest of the bad with your dance performance! Your music has bonded the black or white race and heal the world from atrocity.

I know you wanna be startin’ somethin’ through your songs, and teach us to not let go of our hopes and apply the “Don’t stop ’til you get enough!” attitude. But then, you have to beat it and gone too soon. Now we’re all thinking. Will you be there? Or I’ll be there for forty days and for forty nights, working day and night, even if the girl is mine and Billie Jean is yours.

We are the world to you and we will always remember you and your music. We’re sure that you are not alone to where you’re heading. For there’s always be a man in the mirror, whenever and wherever.

We will definitely miss the glove, the spin, the lean, the moonwalk,  and everything great about the King of Pop. We love you!
