Happy Wednesday everyone, today a friend of mine brought something really hilarious to me, finding Chuck Norris via Google. You may have read all of those long lists of things Chuck facts, if not you can find some here. I'll list the simple directions you'll have to follow to get the same message I did. First up, fire up Google and type in "find Chuck Norris", then click "I'm Feeling Lucky". When you do that, you'll receive a hilarious message of "Google won't search for Chuck Norris because it knows you don't find Chuck Norris, he finds you." and it even lists the suggestions you may do afterwards. I've been in a posting slump lately as I simply don't have enough time to review any websites for the time being. I decided to still entertain the visitors to this blog by posting some Youtube videos that have had me revisiting them over and over again in place of the times that I am unable to post anything. Hello everyone, hopefully your weekend is going great,if not I have two websites that are bound to bring a smile to your face.

1) Funny Junk, the name says it all, its junk, but its funny junk! FJ includes funny pictures, flash movies, games and videos that are user submitted and voted by the users. It contains a top #50 list of pictures, games, movies, and Youtube videos. Whether you're looking at a picture, watching a video or playing a game, you have the option to send it to your friends, comment on it, or rate it.You can subscribe to their RSS feed to get the latest funny stuff.

2) The second site is called I Can Has Cheezeburger. My description of it would be a mass array of grammatically incorrect cat lovers posting hilarious pictures and editing them to produce the most laughs. Most of them look like this one with the picture itself and then the user's captions on it:

I can fill my whole blog with these cause there are so many funny ones. This one is also user generated content so even you could submit your own ICHS picture and get famous, or at least have your picture known among the other grammar-hating cat-loving people:)

Yesterday I wasn't able to finish my previous post so I am here today to wrap it up by introducing a cool tool that will lower your energy usage with the computer and help reduce the strain on the environment. I am talking about LocalCooling, a 100% FREE power management tool that will help you optimize your computer/laptop Watt usage. It is a down loadable little tool that takes your power settings and simplifies them allowing you to have your computer screen turned off when not in use in x minutes, this is VERY useful if you leave your computer on the whole day or for a company that has 10-100's of computers on at a time. I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far, I know I am because I found a website that will help me reduce the amount of energy I use. As everyone knows, humans are very wasteful creatures, doing many day to day things that could be cut down to help save the environment. If you had visited Google today, which I assume everyone has, you would've seen what message they're trying to get across. They are supporting the campaign Earth Hour which will ask everyone around the globe to turn off their lights from 8-9pm in their respective timezones.

Spring Break is Over, Back to School

Alas, the time has come for me to leave my computer and go out in the real world of school. This is actually the first personal post I have made on my blog, I feel that the people reading my blog need to know a little about me and less about the web sites I enjoy. During the week that I had off, I made use of it by first doing the required work first, such as assignment that were due, etc. Then, I turned to the Internet for the entertainment it seems to provide every time I go on it,haha.I found some more money making opportunities and earned a little on my old ones, nothing too special.

This last week I was able to post an article daily although I'm afraid that might change due to my busy schedule and such but I'm looking to post at least 3 times a week. Knowing myself, I'll probably give in and post as much as I could which could dent my productivity a little. But I DO have to practice my blogging which will help me out in the long run.

Well, know that I told you a little bit about myself and how I act, I'm hoping we can become a little bit closer. After all, bloggers need to look out for one another, right?

Blingo- Google with Prizes

Yesterday I was busy cleaning all day for Easter so now on the holy day itself, I am able to write about Blingo. Blingo is a search engine with a twist, not only does it provide you the same search results as Google but it gives you a chance to win some great prizes as well. I signed up for Blingo about 2 months ago and I'm not going to lie, I haven't won anything yet and I'm frankly not expecting myself to but it would be a nice surprise if I did. The sign-up is pretty basic with your name and email then the more personal questions in case you win. The requirements are that you have to be at least 13 years old, live in the United States(sorry fellow Canadians), and have an Internet connection(duh). I have been using Entrecard for only a couple of days and am already satisfied with what it has to offer. For whose who are new to blogging, such as myself, it is hard to get unique views, also known as "traffic" to your blog. Entrecard is a network of bloggers seeking to promote their blog while finding something they like as well. Signing up is very easy and in a matter of minutes you able to add their widget on to your blog, if you want to see how it looks like, look to the right------>

When you customize your Entrecard, you are now able to describe your blog's content. This should be brief and explain why your blog is worth the visit. After you're done customizing everything, you are set to go out and find other people's blogs that you enjoy and "drop" your Entrecard unto their blog simply by clicking Drop on their EntreCard. This process works both ways as a benefit, you are given 1 credit that you can use to advertise on other people's Entrecard. A credit is the currency that people exchange profile views. Convert Tube- Download your Favorite Online Videos for Free

Hey Everyone,

Today I'll be writing about a nifty website that allows you to download your favorite online videos straight to your PC, iPod, PSP, iPhone, Mac, and cell phone. I have just used this while preparing to write a blog about it. First, I opened up Youtube and searched the music video Scream by Michael Jackson. (I'm one of the few that seem to like his music)Then I opened up Convert Tube and pasted the link of the YouTube video in the available slot and selected the Audio Only(mp3) button and clicked Covert and Download. (I could have downloaded Video itself but its kinda crazy in my opinion seeing as how it took 7 million dollars to make). While watching the video myself, Covert Tube took about 2 minutes to provide me with the mp3 of the song, which I had to click the download button and open it with my iTunes. The last step was to rename the song in my iTunes library because it was originally labeled with some CovertTube.mp3 gibberish.

There, in under 5 minutes I was able to get a free song and all it took was to copy and paste the Youtube link. I hope you guys take advantage of this site, theres no telling how much music and videos you can snag with this. This is the first time I'm asking but, if you enjoyed this or any other posts on this blog, I would be extremely delighted to hear from you through the comment section.

Whew, time flies by when you're online, I find myself writing this at 10pm but I feel energized enough to write about an opportunity to rate and listen to music, and get something in return. The name of the website is Promosquad and the rules are simple, you are given the chance to listen to clips of current, popular music and rate it with some simple ratings of how you like it, "Have you heard this song before?", "Would you buy it?", and "Would you tell your friend about this song?" After doing that, you receive 5 points. Now, you might ask, how much is 5 points worth in Promosquad? Promosquad offers a bunch of cool prizes starting from 250 points up to 15,000. You can view all of their prizes here. When you are not rating music, you can rate artists by giving them a rating from 0(Hate It) to 100(Love It). You receive 1 point per artist rated. Another way you can earn points on this site is by voting on the polls submitted by other users. You receive 5 points for voting on each poll and 15 points by submitting a new poll that gets approved. By voting on the polls alone I was able to get to the 250 point prizes but my main objective is to get the Ipod Shuffle which is currently 15,000 points. Another great feature of this website is the Get Famous portion which allows you to submit your favorite unsigned artist or great song. If they make it to the Jukebox, you get 500 points, if they make it to the Get Famous Page, you get 1,000 points, and the biggest part is, if Promosquad signs them to a record label, you get a $1,000 finders fee! If you are an unsigned band yourself, you could submit yourself and hopefully get that 1 grand and the record label to back you up. If you are in need of assistance or would like to express your feelings about something, Promosquad also features a message board that offers support when needed. This is a website I would recommend going to for when you want to hear some popular new music and give your input on it and earn some great prizes while you're at it!

Rescue Time- Saving One Procrastinator at a Time

I am obviously a procrastinator, otherwise I would probably be doing work instead of blogging about something that reduces procrastination. I came upon this site Rescue Time that claims it would help reduce my procrastination by logging my time spent on the computer. After a week of using this, I received an email from them with a weekly report of my online spending, not so good, it appears I have spent 31 hours on the computer, 18% of my week was spent hunched over the computer screen. Whats great about this program is that it allows you to set goals by tagging the websites you regularly use and set a nice reminder to help you overcome the obsession of checking your email every 30 minutes. You are even able to embed a RescueTime Graph widget on your website or blog. I would definitely give this a try if I were you and wish you a procrastination-free life!

Hello to everyone reading this blog. I would like to tell you about a website in which you can earn Magazine subscriptions just for watching ads you would normally see on Television. Before you get suspicious, there is no fee to join and membership requires you to enter simple information about you. Now allow me to get into the details, the possible magazines you can get subscriptions to currently are Ode, Good Housekeeping, Popular Science, Skiing, and Field Stream. Don't find these fascinating? The company is planning to add a lot more such as Cosmo Girl and Smart Money. When you sign up and pick the magazine you want to receive, you are sent to a page of videos that you are able to watch to get a certain amount of credits before you can get the 12 or 10 subscriptions of that magazine.
