Sometime last year, I photographed a Ferrari 599 GTB for my Friend Greg Teo . This is one of his rides in Singapore and this is a really impressive car both in looks and performance.

Greg  also races a Ferrari 458 Challenge in the Asia Pacific Ferrari challenge. Greg did very well in last season’s races having won a race and been placed a few times, he finished third overall in the driver’s championship.

I took this pictures just for fun and have been keeping them in my computer, while browsing through the photos, I thought I might as well share them

A little bit of info on this speed machine, it does the 0-100km sprint in less than 4 seconds and top speed is said to be well over 300kmh.

I must say though that this car is a little different from the other Ferraris I have ridden in, this one feels much more comfortable and feels like a car you can drive everyday.

It is so easy to fall in love with a car like that

And it is because of your questions and messages that I have been inspired to start a new column in my blog

Beginning from the 15 of May this year, I will be starting an advice column and will be offering my humble advice/opinions to couples and photographers.

For Couples: Need to know what should a wedding day schedule be like? or if you should hire a professional photographer or get your friend who is an avid hobby photographer to shoot your wedding?(I have been asked this question many times) or what is the difference between an “Engagement photo session” and “Pre wedding” photoshoot?

For Photographers: should you use that prime lens or zoom lens? Or how do you use “off camera flash”? or “Do I need my models to sign a release for all my shoots”?

Cindy and Ben are from Singapore and they came all the way to Macau to have their pre wedding photos shot by me :)

After getting to know them for awhile, I think Cindy and Ben are a perfect match for each other. She has got an effervascent, bubbly personality and Ben is more of a quiet and reserved person. Put together, the two of them are just perfect , complimenting each other nicely

This was one “WET” pre wedding, it was raining non stop the few days before the shoot and weather forecasts weren’t promising. The day before the shoot, I prayed for clear skies before I went to bed. (I have done this before and my prayers were answered!)

This time though, When I woke up it was still raining, much to my disappointment. But I am a person of faith and I think God for some reason wanted me to shoot in the rain that day

We procceded with the shoot as postponing was not really an option. The first stop of the day was the Ruins of St Paul cathedral, it was raining heavily when we got there so we waited and after about half an hour later we could put in some shots when the rain slow down a little, just a for awhile though because just as soon as I fired my 5th shot it started to rain again.

It went on like that the whole day, we were literally playing hide and seek with the rain.

I must really thank Cindy and Ben for being the bright spark on an otherwise wet and gloomy day. Thank you for being patient as we waited for the rain to stop and thank you for letting me photograph your pre wedding in Macau

This was quite a challenging shoot and I am thankful to have had a wonderful and patient couple to photograph on this day :)

Regine and Cedric tied the knot on 31st March this year.  A traditional chinese wedding, there was the gate crash games in the morning followed by the Tea serving ceremony. They later held their dinner banquet at Orchard Hotel.

They are a really nice and fun couple to photograph and as with all my weddings, I always do some portraits for my couples on their wedding day, on this day though, due to the scheduling, we only had time to do the shoot at about 1230pm and as we all know, 1230pm in Singapore is really really hot. The Sun is at it’s highest and you could probably easily cook an egg on the pavement because it is that hot!

But still, this lovely couple, gave me the time I needed and we shot for about 30mins under the mid-day sun

It was an enjoyable shoot for me and I would like to congratulate Regine and Cedric on their marriage and many thanks for the honour of shooting their wedding

Venus and Edmond are from Macau and I had the privilege of shooting their pre wedding photos at the end of last year

It was raining continuously for a few days prior to their shoot and I was really praying for it to be dry on the shoot day as my schedule was packed during that month and rescheduling the shoot was not really an option.

Miraculously on the shoot day , it was dry !!  God had answered my prayers

We went to a few different places in Macau to shoot and it was just so nice to have a gorgeous couple to shoot on a dry day in a VERY wet month

This was the first international wedding I photographed in 2013 Jo and Gary both hail from New Zealand and they decided to get married far away from home in sunny Singapore. The bridal preparations started at the Four Seasons Hotel and later moved to the Iconic Raffles hotel for the marriage ceremony.

I just love photographing weddings like that Here are some pictures from the day.

I hosted top filipino photographer Manny Librodo in a Hong Kong workshop in 2011. It was hugely successful and I had always wanted to do one more in Macau. It took abit of planning but in January 2013, I finally did it. I hosted one more workshop and  this time it was in Macau.

For this workshop , we started early in the morning at the iconic Ruins of St Paul’s church. And like in Hong Kong, we did a street walk with Kharu our model 

Always enjoyable to connect with other photographers   I made some great friends along the way. Here are some pictures from the workshop.
