A Day Out in Osbaldwick

Last Sunday we were invited to put on a car show for Osbaldwick Gala. The gala is growing year by year and the classic cars added another dimension to an already successful show - look out for it next year and GO!!

Some great people from Osbaldbick were kind enough to help me drive the cars over - I think they had a good time :-)

This car is available for weddings if you want something very different and very noisy!

A Ford Mustang is the definitive American muscle car. Unlike a Corvette Stingray, it has four seats, five at a push, and is surprisingly roomy in the back. The long doors and pillarless window design make it particularly easy to get in and out of the back seat - very important to a bride encumbered with a large dress!

Are there a minimum or maximum number of guests we can have at our reception?

At Last!

After three years we finally roll her out of the barn looking glorious. It feels as if I've been restoring this car forever. Every step forward seemed to involve at least two steps backwards as we found more and more wrong with the car. But we can forget all that now and enjoy driving a 'brand new' 1948 Bentley with a stunning body by Freestone and Webb - one of my favourite coachbuilders.

1978 VW Campervan

This fantastic Volkswagen Camper has had a full body and engine rebuild.; and she has the perfect number plate for a wedding!

Inside she has two bench seat, one facing forwards and the other rearward, There is also a small bench seat facing sideways so you can seat seven people in addition to the driver.

This car is available through Classic Car Hire Yorkshire on a self-drive basis but can provide a chauffeur if required.

Dear Chris, Niki + Trevor

Wow! Did we turn some heads. The combination of cars you suggested, the 3 Bentleys and 2 Rolls Royce, were spectacular. The photos of us with all the cars lined up in a row were amongst our favourites. All our guests raved about how stunning the cars looked.

Trevor, our driver went above and beyond the call of duty. He arrived in plenty of time and took great care of me. In sweltering heat, he ran the length of Burnby Hall Gardens to relay an urgent message whilst we were having our photos taken.

We would be delighted to recommend you to others.
