The two digital photography courses have completed now with very happy customers and I’m looking forward to the next ones after the summer holidays. We had fantastic and enthusiastic students enrolled and the course was enjoyed by all – the complaint was that it wasn’t long enough!

• Meeting with you before the ceremony do discuss your requirements in detail and gain information about places & times etc.
• Photographs pre-service (bride’s house etc) if required
• Photographs at the wedding service (bride arriving. Inside & outside the wedding venue)
• Photographs at wedding reception location – eg. groups & bridal party
• Photographs at wedding reception location – specific for bride & groom
• Pictures can be optionally viewed by the bride & groom afterwards for any adjustments required
• Wedding albums and other options can be discussed further
• All of the wedding pictures are burned to disc so you can produce as many of your own copies as you wish and even email to friends & family

- Which is best for me between the Beginners and Serious Amateur courses?
The Digital Photography for Beginners course is aimed towards those just starting out with their D-SLR or wanting to know more about the flexibility your camera gives you.  We cover the relationships between the lens aperture, shutter speed and other camera settings and we test these in a real-world environment and see the difference that these settings make and how you can use them to your advantage.  We cover subjects including Panoramics, Landscapes & Low light.
- A total of 10 sessions over 5 weeks (5x class and 5x field trips)
- Starting later in 2010 (runs on Mondays 6-9pm)
- Full price; £60.  Concessions of 20%-70% available.

The Digital Photography for Serious Amateurs course is aimed towards those who may know a little about their camera already and we show you some greater possibilities; we go deeper into some more advanced techniques including HDR and Multiplicity with more use of software such as use of layers in Photoshop.
- A total of 12 sessions over 7 weeks (7x class and 5x field trips)
- Starting later in 2010 (runs on Mondays 6-9pm)
- Full price; £85.  Concessions of 20%-70% available.

More about the courses;
The courses are professionally run and we’re delighted here at Photography NorthWest to be writing and presenting the courses on behalf of the Whitehaven Adult Education Centre.

Both courses are aimed at people with a Digital SLR camera (though we have had people happily complete the beginners course with other cameras).  We show you how to make your own decisions and give you the control to take the photograph that you want instead of leaving decisions entirely down to your camera.

If you’d like to learn more about digital photography and meet some friendly faces then the courses will be for you! We have sessions in the comfortable classroom at the Whitehaven School and also put our learned methods into practice by venturing out and shooting as a group. You get plenty of support and helpful tips along the way and individual help can be happily given.
