... I married my best friend =] and I can't believe it has been that long, I guess time flies when you are having fun right? So today I wanted to share how blessed we both feel to have each other and even more now.

We are so excited to welcome baby Poodle to our home new home, we were so excited to become home-owners only a few weeks a go and now to be able to share this news just fills out the perfect picture =]

Our house is still a mess because I've been super sick but I know we will get there =] hopefully before this little one comes =] I've miss the hive so much so I am so excited to share our little blessing in here.

Not Adios, but hasta luego...

I know I've been avoiding to write this post because I hate to say goodbye, but the time has come and even tho I know it would be a "see you later" because I love the hive way too much, it's still sad to officially finish the Handmade Amor recaps, but don'y worry I will be showing my face every time I can =]

Right now I am in Chile enjoying some beautiful spring weather while in vacations with my family and it's a little touching to be sitting down in the exact same chair as when I wrote my very first post back in 2009. Mostly because since the wedding I've only been here twice.

When I think about our wedding I can't help but associate pretty much everything with Weddingbee. This community helped us shape our wedding, we shared with all of you our moments of joy, projects and a few tears along the way too. All of the comments supporting our projects and plans meant the world to me and Mr. Poodle. Because of weddingbee I started blogging and after 2 years I am completely hooked, so you can visit me at my little blog-space called HowJoyful.com, there I share tutorials, crafts, my sewing adventures and everything in between - I am also on Twitter and my latest obsession Pinterest! =]

I've showed you all the pretty wedding pictures we have, but I also have to show you all the reality of how cold it was while we moved from place to place =] and I have to thank our awesome photographers Cat and Adi from Next Exit Photography for being so talented and show a prefect weather day in our pictures, when it was super windy and cold =]

And after our wonderful wedding day we spent a day with my Mom because she left to come back to Chile two days after the wedding, she helped us opening presents and we relaxed before leaving for our honey moon in Lake Tahoe =]

I have to say that saying goodbye is pretty sad, I shared so much with all of you. And our wedding plans would have not been the same with you, so for that - Thank you! The hive will always have a special place in my heart.

One of the thing all of our friends remember about our wedding is how much we all danced =] the dance floor was busy until passed midnight (the time Mr. Poodle and I left) So a huge thank you to our friend Ricky (our DJ) that kept people dancing for hours!

We didn't just dance tho, there was a lot of singing involved =]

The bridesmaids set the example starting the dancing =]

We all danced with each other, and it was my second time ever line-dancing =] (the first one was my Bachelorette party)

We also had an unplanned money dance, we didn't plan for it but our friends started it so we went with it =] I have to say that it was pretty awesome.

Most people just handed us the money or put it in a basket, my sash or Mr. Poodle's vest.

MIL's best friends made a Mr. Poodle sandwich and had so much fun in their turn =] love it!

As you can see I was pretty excited to see how much we gather lol

One of the things i love the most about Weddingbee is the sense of community, even tho when we started planning our wedding I was still living in Chile, the power of internet brought me here and got me hooked. I loved the interaction with brides, that just like me had questions and were excited abut very similar things. I was lucky enough to actually *meet in person* with a lot of the California Bees when the time came for me to move from Chile.

[ Miss Stripes, Mrs. Sprinkle, Mrs. Dachshund, me, Mrs. Meatball, Mrs. French Bulldog ]

A few of these lovely ladies also came before the wedding to help out with wedding crafts and have an afternoon at the ranch, they got an exclusive peek on our wedding chapel and a jeep ride with Mr. Poodle hehe.

They had fun posing with our gigantic letters and driving the quads =] I was so happy to have them there! I was also happy because it started raining after we took all of the outside pictures

The only bad part is that even tho I warn everyone about wearing comfy s hoes I forgot to want them that It could be cold (maybe that was just me not wanting cold weather lol) So I know some of them were pretty cold during our ceremony, but we fixed that with some dancing at the reception =]

We were so lucky to have my talented MIL Betty bake our wedding cake, she asked us what flavors we liked and the look we were going for, and we could have not been happier, because it was not only delicious, it was so cute! We loved it so much =]

We use one of the 8 tree stumps FIL worked on to be used as trays for the sweets and as the cake stand, MIL kept a tray so the cake would not directly touch the coated wood just in case.

I worked on our cake toppers made out of clay and wire long before our wedding, they were actually one of my first projects and short before the wedding I finally finish them with the help of Tammy, on of my Mother in Law Betty's good friend, she did an awesome job painting the faces of out little selfs :)

Betty did an amazing job with the texture I describe I'd like, and even from the beginning I was not worried at all because she's awesome. So I knew it was going to be great, we gave her as much creative freedom as possible and she did great!

We also had so much fun cutting the cake, even tho I have to say that I was kind of scared to have cake shoved in my face. I had already asked Mr. Poodle to be gentle, but I was unsure of the outcome lol
After we cut the cake we feed each other and Mr. Poodle was awesome, not a crumb in my face hehe

I also wanted to show a little more of our reception details, first our sitting arrangements, since we had a long dessert buffet, we decided to stamp little lunch bags with our guest table numbers and wrote their names so they could find their assigned table. I made this sign below to explain it and we hanged all the bags with clothe-pins that they could use to close their bags once they got their sweets.

I also made circles out of wrapping paper and added a little piece of magnet tape in the back to add to the barn's metal door (where we arranged our sweet buffet)

As I shared before, the week before our wedding along with all the other last minute projects I baked tons of sweets for our guest =]

FIL helped me make 2 wood trays of 3 levels for our sweet buffet, they were so cute! and we added little birdcages at the top =]

I have to say that this must have been my last batch for refill (all of the ugly cake pops) because I know the first 2 were very cute! pinky promise!

Here you can also see the setting of the tables and centerpieces, We used jars and cut bottles with beans and seeds to hold the branches and origami flowers, we also used paper as our table runners and our wood plates and silverware =]

We were so happy it got all full of lefts even tho I was surprised someone misplaced the purple ink I used for the bags and set it with the rest of the green inks I had for the tree, i was pretty bummed because I wanted all of the leafs to be different shades of green. But after a few days I realized that even tho it doesn't look like I wanted it does have everyone's index finger print, and that's priceless =] Besides purple and green were our wedding colors hehe.

The week before the wedding, FIL and the guys were cutting a tree in the back of the ranch and even tho it looked like a normal tree once they cut it it looked like a heart shape in the center, so we use a few of those for our centerpieces =]

Mr. Poodle's aunt Joy (I am the second Joy of the family hehe) made a sign for us to add to the ones that are permanently at the ranch, so from then on our wedding will always be one of the celebrations that took place at the ranch =]

Before the Maid of honor and Best man did their toast we wanted to thank everyone that was there at our wedding. One big part of our guest were by our side each step of the way, helping us with every single little task, so we wanted to make sure we Thank everyone. We were so thankful for our family and friends that took our wedding projects as their own and many times without even asking we got more help than we could have imagine =] We are truly blessed!

So i started thanking, and when it was Mr. Poodle's turn without even notice I stole the microphone again, I guess I was way too excited and I can not blame it on the alcochol because I didn't even drink until very late that night lol

I made sure to cheer and scream for everyone we were thanking =]

Momma Poodle thought it was pretty funny!

Then it was time for Mr. Poodle's Brother Matt to share some words, he's so awesome and adorable!

He even gave me a teary eye =]

Then Mr. Poodle's sister talk to us, she is so cute =]

And we wanted Mr. Poodle's Dad to share a few words and we wanted to specially thank him and let everyone know that he build the awesome outdoor chapel we had just left., but he was no where to be found until he ran to the inside of the barn, he was pretty funny =]

So after a little wait we got to Thank him and he got to share a little too, I think that i have no words to express how much he means to me =] I feel so lucky to have him as my Father in law!

After all of the talking was over it was time for some food!

And even out flower girl enjoy it so much! We had this little local restaurant catering our celebration and it could have not being better, the food was so yummy!! A bunch of us end up going for seconds =]

It's funny that one of my favorite pictures from our wedding it's not even a picture of us, but the picture of Mr. Poodles best friend's grandma catching the bouquet. To me it was awesome that she was the one getting it and even better, her reaction was priceless =]

I made a paper and napkin flowers bouquet to toss because I didn't want anyone to get hurt with the clay flowers I made for all the rest of the bouquets, I also added some silk shamrock to add a pop of green =]

Do you recognize some of the ladies there? yes those are the Stripes!

You can also see Mrs dachshund in the red sweater =]

When it was garter time, the groomsman covered Mr. Poole's eyes and his best friend Scott got ready with some nylons to try to trick him into thinking that he was me. We planned this the day before the wedding and I have to say it turn out funnier than we thought.

Our only problem was that Scott forgot that I am extremely ticklish, specially in my feet, so when Mr. Poodle got a little suspicious, he tickle his feet. I tried to signal that he needed to act like he was laughing .

But Mr. Poodle didn't believe it and took the blindfold out, ran towards me and got under my dress. He was going to get the garter no matter what LOL - So I had no chance to even run.

He was so happy he finally got it!

Scott was pretty happy with the leg touching, I just have to say it!

And after telling me and laughing for a little, the guys were ready to try to get the garter.

As you can see there were some way more excited than others =]

And even tho it was a close one one of Mr. Poodle's close friend caught it, and he actually got married a few months a go, so this actually worked for him, but I am sad to inform that the bouquet didn't bring much luck, because she's still looking =]

After our ceremony, we drove the quads to the bard for our reception. In case you guys don't remember, we had last minute changes for our reception due to the bad weather that all of the sudden brought rain and wind to our wedding weekend. Our friends and family helped us move everything that we had set up outside (tables, dance floor, lights, DJ tower, etc..) to the metal barn Mr. Pooldle's grandparents use as a shop and garage.

I have to say that even tho this was not what we had originally planned, I loved it and we had the time of our lives, dancing, laughing and the best part, we were old protected from the cold and rain =] For our first dance we selected a song very close to our hearts: Bendita tu luz by Mana

Actually we love this song because it talks about how they were on the road at the same time, and well since Mr. Poodle and I met while I was hitchhiking, timing was a very important and definitely a sign for us.

After looking at all of our dancing pictures I wonder why I make so many funny faces, but singing while dancing can do that to you =]

Since we didn't have a father-daughter dance, we decided to include my mom and Mr. Poodle's Parents in a dance. Even tho we focused our song choice on our Mommas.

We had so much fun rockin to this song and just being goofy =]

And we had an improvised father-in-law/daughter-in-law dance, I have to say that we both enjoy dancing very much (just in case you didn't notice hehe)

It was so touching to have him, and Poodle Momma in the place of the father-daughter dance and it made me feel so much better about not having that "always wanted" dance with my dad.

When we started planing our ceremony both of us thought about using a cool vintage car for our get away, but as the planning continue we realized that we just had to stay true to The Ranch. Therefor we went with the typical Ranch ride, Quads!

I enjoy riding quads so much! and they were actually a huge part of the whole planning, I use them to collect all the branches for our center pieces, to carry stuff out to the ceremonie site, etc. So of course they HAD to be in our wedding day =]

We drove around for some pictures while our guest were transported to the barn and even tho there was mud, I was really careful not to rush trough it, so my dress was save. But Mr. Poodle just wanted speed hehe.

Mr Poodle's cousing made super cute signs to hang at the back of the quads.

But the wind was so strong that, Mr. Poodle's didn't last long =]

At the end we gave one of the quads to Adi, our photographer so he carried all the gear and we jumped on one to head over to our reception =]

kind of red-neck according to some, but we just loved it!

In my last post I shared our vows and how much fun that part of our ceremony was! Well after that our friend Paul did one on the more touching prayers I've heard from him.

The air around us felt warm for a moment while we had our eyes closed and carefully listen to Paul's sweet prayer. I don't think i can describe how happy I felt while holding his hands =] (I did felt my dress hitting me in the face a few times tho hehe)

Our long distance relationship was finally facing an end and we were about to begin a full new life together, closer than ever before.

Mr. Poodle and I were so touch, happy and excited to finally be presented as Husband and Wife! and well, the kiss speaks from itself =]

After that we started walking as our guest got a hold of the birdseed =]

I end up with seeds EVERYWHERE! it was funny and I guess some of them didnt even bother to untie the little bags and hit Mr. Poodle with the several times.you can see one coming the the photo below, but it was awesome!

And I can't finish with our ceremonie recaps without specially thanking the people that made it possible for my family back in Chile to witness everything from their computers. Carl and Jimmy (right and center) The worked so hard trying to get internet access in the remote area we chose for our ceremonie and when everything seemed like it was just not going to happen, they called me on Skype while I was sewing pillowcases at home with Momma Poodle and showed me the finish fireplace/altar in our chapel. I could not help but cry because it just meant the world to me. They did the impossible and helped with tons of cables and several routers brought our wedding to the ones that could not come. They just ROCK! And of course on the left our Dj Ricky, the coolest DJ EVER just wait and see!

One of my favorite parts of our ceremony was the vows exchange, it was so personal and also funny =] Mr. Poodle made me cry a little as he quoted one of our favorite songs from Dave's Mathews band in his vows and made me laugh when he mention the fact that he picked me up on the side of the road when I was hitchhiking to work - That is how we met =]

"Joy ... Today is the first day we challenge the world side by side. I promise to love you and encourage you in any late night or origami adventure or long blogging jobs. I will especially love you and respect you thought the best times and when the road gets rocky girl... steady as we go! ...

... Our relationship has always been controlled by long distances and I cant wait to have you to me for more than a couple of months. Just imagine, people live their lives and some never found what I found on the side of the road. As we grow together I want you to know that I love you. Te amo mucho and Io sono il fortunato."

After that Mr. Poodle and his groomsman played a little game trying to find the ring and started to ask each other and search in all pockets, it was very well coordinated and super funny to watch, good thing they only pretended to lose it, whew!

And this one below has to be one of my favorite pictures, with the little Poodle charm I wore as my bracelet =]

Finally it was my turn =] I have to admit I am horrible at public speaking so before that I was super nervous, but when the time came I was so into the ceremony that I didn't really notice I was speaking in front of all of our guest until I finish, for a few minutes it totally felt like it was just the tow of us there =]

"After the first time I saw you, I could not take you out of my mind. After a few months I could not take you out of my heart, and now years have pass and I know I dont ever want you out of my life, I want you with me forever...

... I can't believe this relationship started only 3 years a go, because I feel like we've always been by each others side. I feel so blessed to have found you as my partner because when I look at you I see everything that I have ever wanted and needed....

And since the boys had a little game with the ring we had to do something, so we decided to pretend Mr. Poodle's ring was stock in her sister's finger, so we all pulled together to try to recoverer it.

Since none of us saw each other's ring i was very nervous his was not going to fit him, so I guess I overreacted when it fit so well =]

Next up, we are husband and wife! YAY!

Handmade Amor: Ceremony (Part 1)

At the end of my last post, our Officiant and dear friend Paul welcomed our freinds and family to our wedding ceremony, after that, he proceeded like this:

"I remember several year a go my wife, Candace befriending Joy, a young Chilean lady, who quickly became a friend of our entire family. Shortly thereafter, we meet Ken and eventually Candace would tease Joy about marriage, she would say "NO, NO, no (with an accent)" ... WELL HERE WE ARE! "

"... And what an awesome time this is, these are the type of moments that make life beautiful, we thank God for times as this, for the opportunity to celebrate this day and make memories.

To proclaim vows among this circle of your closest friends, family and loved ones is very powerful, because you both are giving your solemn promise to each other. That you will love - honor - cherish - respect - esteem - and always endeavor to understand and meet your loved ones'needs above your own."

Paul continued: At this time I would like to introduce the father of the Groom, Kevin. He would be sharing the reading "I like you" by Sandol Stoddard Warburg.

My FIL Kevin, didn't really like the attention, but he did an amazing job and not only made us really emotional but also made us laugh a lot =]

After the reading Paul let everyone know that the ceremony was being broadcasted online to all my family in Chile and Southamerica.

"La biblia declara que el cielo refleja la gloria de Dios, y en este dia tan especial tanto en Chile como aca estamos compartiendo el mismo cielo, y sabemos que Dios esta en todas partes"

"The Bible declares that the sky reflects the glory of God and the canopy of sky above us today is shared with all of Joy's family in Chile. And we know that God is everywhere"

Paul continued:

KEN, Jesus said "that a man is to leave his mother and father and the two are to become one flesh"Cherish and care for her as your own body, because you two are now one.

JOY, Jesus also said that as Ken's wife you are to respect and manage the home when encourage him and simply love him thru the difficult times, you will always hold his heat.

BOTH OF YOU, put each other's feelings above your own and your marriage will be success and your love for one another will flourish!

I just love to remember every little detail and I am so glad Paul gave me the copy of our ceremony in the folder I made for him. So we can always have that and I am thinking of making it a scrapbook =] I think it would be nice, stay tunned, next up Our Vows!

And finally is my turn to talk down the aisle! I am so happy and proud my Mom got to come to California all the way from Chile to give me away to Mr. Poodle. Right before we walked in to out chapel I was super nervous, but once my pretty handmade veil flew away because of the wind, we had a good laugh and relaxed all over again =]

I think this is the only picture I have of my with my veil still on hehe. The music started right when we were getting closer to the entry, "Desde que te vi" from Natalino, the translation is "Ever since I saw you" witch describe perfectly the way I feel about Mr. Poodle =]

You can see in the background my veil going to the bushes =[

Now we are ready to enter !

Once we reached the Altar our Minister and very good friend Paul asked "Quien entrega a Joy en Matrimonio" - Who gives Joy to be married - witch caught me totally by surprised, I had no idea he added more Spanish to make things easier for my Mom =]

That was when my Mom handed me to Mr. Poodle, he thanked her and we both kissed her =]

My friend Connie and Mom traveled all the way from chile to witness our wedding.

Paul continued:

" In behalf of the Bride and Groom, Thank you for sharing in this very special day ... "

All of our guest were in our chapel, mr. Poodle and the groomsman were on their way there and I got to spend some alone time with Momma Poodle right before the ceremony. I was so excited I could not stop smiling. Then I saw my Mom's beautiful eyes, she was glowing like I never saw her before, her little pick checks hold such a huge smile. While telling me how happy she was to be the one to walk me down the aisle. And I could have not being happier to hold her arm, she hugged me so tight and whisper in my ear how even though I was going to be a married woman, I will always be her little girl. Our eyes water, but this time out of happiness =]

We hold hands and walked to our ride, because while we were talking the groomsman were escorting our super very important woman =]

Mr. Poodle's mom and mayor support in all of our wedding preparations.

Mr. Poodle's Grandmother and owner of the Ranch, our very special venue and here you can see one of Mimis project in action, the little packages of birdseeds!

Now we are ready for the Groomsman to walk in! with one of the first songs Mr. Poodle and I sang at each other looking at the stars, when we started dating =]

And of course Mr. Poodle had to do a little dancing walk going in =]

And my girls are ready to enter!

It was pretty cold and windy, but it did not matter because we are going to get married!

One of the biggest projects of our handmade wedding was our chapel. Mr. Poodle's dad took over the project as soon as I mention how cool it could be. I showed him all of the inspiration pictures I gather and he went beyond what I could have ever dream. Here you can see a few shoots before our ceremony, I do have to say it looked so much better with people in it =]

Mr. Poodle's dad used some old windows and another member of the family gave us their old siding (they remodel their house's outside in perfect timing)

Family friends gather almost every weekend to help out with the chapel, collecting rocks, setting windows, you name it, they were there. I don't think I could ever thank enough for all of their help!

I also wanted to show you all both our wedding rings, we love them so much specially because of the story behind the use of the wood =]

Now that I've show you all of our details, we are ready to star with the ceremony!

In the first part I showed you all some of my favorite pictures before our ceremony, here is the second part with my favorites around the old house, burnt machinery field and the dirt road =] We had to have some pictures in the tree rope swing, Mr. Poodle has played on it ever since he can remember so it was really cool to have pictures with it.

Mimi is Mr. Poodle's grandma and one of the signature items at the ranch was a big old tree with all of those signs, but a few months before the wedding it fell so Mr. Poodle's family re-locate the whole thing and added our names on the bottom so all of us always remember that we got married there =]

One of my favorite projects for our wedding were my huge letters made out of cardboard, so of course we had to take pictures with them =]

And after all the pictures around the barn, we walked to the yard of burn machinery they have in the far back to get some more pictures!

I loved how in all these you can see the purple layers of the bottom of my dress!

And of course we had to have some goofy shoots, just for the fun of it, we just cant help it!

I love all the different areas we had the chance to play around for our pictures, our photographers were so awesome for wanting to experiment and walk a lot to get different backgrounds =] I loved the end result!!

One of the best things about having a first look before the ceremony was that we got to take lots of pictures, have a good time and relax before the ceremony.

We took advantage of the Ranch's different areas and here you will see some of the pictures we took in in the pond area, caboose and field =]

I think one of our favorites are the action shoot of the wind almost blowing me away! Well maybe not blowing me away but surely we acted like that was going to happen =]

We had so much fun with all the pictures and our photographers made us feel so comfortable while taking pictures that at times we kind of forgot we had to pose

I love all of our pictures together and the fact that we did so many different backgrounds. Now I look back and I am so happy we decided to do a first look and get most of our pictures done before the ceremony so that way after the ceremony we jumped right int the party =]

Hola hive! Long time no talk. huh? Last time we talked I shared that we were going on a very long vacation to Chile.

We stayed with my family for 3 months and went on a road trip to the north of Chile all the way to Peru. We enjoyed 3 full months of summer (The perfect scape for the California winter) It was like a second honeymoon, SO awesome!

Now that we are finally settle back home and I finish my winter job, the recaps are going to be continued and sadly finalize (it's kind of sad to think I'll have to say goodbye)

And just to catch you all up, these are somethings you need to know about us. I moved to CA from Chile just a few months before our wedding, Mr. Poodle and I met while I was hitchhiking. We struggle with a very bumpy K1 Visa process while I started blogging to improve my English. We plan most of our wedding long distance and pull off a massive amount of DIY projects for our wedding day: I made my dress, my BMs dresses, baked all our desserts and so much more! We had a lot of wood projects and it literally took a village to build our wedding celebration. Including our own outdoor chapel.

We got legally married at a very private beach ceremony with mostly Mr. poodles family, even with that wedding I had a chance to craft a little and refurbish my beach dress.

My $3.00 wedding dress

Hola hive! Since the Handmade Amor recaps were interrupted by our vacation to Chile (Yes, It's summer here) I wanted to share a little project I made for Halloween, my $3.00 wedding dress! well, it was my costume wedding dress, I dress up as a mail order bride and Mr. Poodle as a Geek :) It was super fun and the perfect excuse to make a pretty white dress.

Mr. Poodle's aunt gave us some old curtains, that I had saved. So, to make it I used the curtains and the purple left over from my wedding dress, I purchased $3.00 of white satin and that was it!

I wish I would have had the time before our wedding to make this one and I would have totally wear it at the party, I loved the one strap back and the rough edge.

I also made flowers for the strap, the first design I had in mind was a little different and with a bottom full of flowers, but since I only had 6 hours to finish the dress and head over to the party, I went the easy was and forgot about my (very cool in mi mind) idea of having a full of flowers bottom.

This was the very first thing wedding related I did after our wedding and I realize how much I loved to make my wedding dress and this dress, so I offered my help to my friends if they need a wedding dress in the future =]

Sorry about the wrinckles, but I took all of those pictures the day after the party and forgot to press the center sash. I decided to make it with an incorporated sash, easy and simple.

And that's it!

We will be back in February from our vacations (I am spending as much time as I can with my family here in Chile) so the recaps will continue then. Happy new year hive!!! and I hope you don't forget about me.

So after the guys and the ladies took pictures separately, we got together for some group fun. We stayed in front of the caboose just because we all loved it as our background.

We all had either boleros or jackets to warm up, but decided to pose just like that, I am actually glad we did because in the pictures you can not notice we were all kind of cold.

and of ourse, it was pretty windy!

but so much fun!

Then we moved to a part of the field for some different shots.

It was such a fun time, and we got to joke around and relax before the ceremony. I remember laughing all day long, we were all so happy but our friends are pretty funny too so between the Joy and they jokes, the day after our wedding my cheekbones were all sore =]

I know I already mention the fact that our wedding day was supper cold and windy. Not that I want to complain, actually I think the wind played on our side because we manage to get awesome wind shots. This post has some of my favories :)

We had such a blast with my girls taking pictures, laugh and enjoy every second of it.

We used the caboose as our background while the boys where allover the place hehe

After all the funny pictures Mr. Poodle and the groomsman took while getting ready, they decided to take some normal portraits. Gotta love the boutonniere shamrocks! :)

They run around the Ranch using the caboose and the old house for their pictures.

One of the very first things I read about on Weddingbee was first looks, and I was sold right away!
We both wanted to have a fist look, mostly because we wanted to use our photographer's time the best possible way, and having most of our bride and groom pictures before the ceremony will give us time for all the other pictures we wanted after the ceremony. Now looking back I think it was one of the best decisions we made. We had tons of fun, we got to enjoy it in such an intimate way. And at the ceremony we were both so much more relaxed :)

Even though we discuss it with Adi, our photographer, we didn't really know what we wanted or where we wanted it to happen, so we pretty much left everything up to them. And I am so glad we did, he choose one side of the caboose, so that way I could walk from the house to the back and go to Mr. Poodle. then fun part was that even tho we couldn't really see anyone, our families and wedding party saw everything from the main house, pretty awesome I say!

I love how in most of our wedding pictures you can't really tell how windy and cold it was, I think our photographers were awesome!

Even thou most of the pictures have a focus on me, I always remember the huge smile on Mr. Poodle's face, it was one of those moments you always smile when you close your eyes and remember.

It kind of give me goosebumps all over!

After the first look, most of Mr. Poodles comments were about my dress, hair and how he loved the fact that I added color with a sash, after all it was the very first time he saw all my work (and his sister's on my hair) all together.

Thanks to having most of our pictures before the ceremony we end up with LOADS of amazing images, that of course I will share with all of you! I never though after the ceremony everything was going to be so fast, I think after the ceremony we didn't even realize it when it was already dancing time and midnight came just as fast.

While we were getting ready, on the other side of the ranch, we though the guys were doing the same thing. Well they decided to do it their own way!

I actually only knew about it when we got the PRO pictures, so I wish we would have think of it and had fun pictures in the trampoline too!

So we left off when I showed you some lovely details, well now it's time to really start with our wedding day!- early morning I started the day with my Bridesmaids waking me up, since all of us spend the night at the ranch we took turns to use the 4 showers, I was one of the last ones, because everyone insisted I should get more sleep - So happy they let me!
I started putting my make-up and my SIL was in charge of my hair ( and all of the bridesmaids)

Since my hair was the most work out of ALL of them (I have SO MUCH hair and it was pretty long) SIL Kristin had the help of my dear friend Katy and both of them curled the massive amount of hair.

I decided not to have a trial of makeup or hair, just because I always change my mind, so I wanted to see right in there what I felt more like. and I had some ideas that we discussed while they were curling my hair.

Momma Poodle was so happy, and of course I could have not be happy that she, after all the struggle, got to share the day with us.

I finally went for a very soft smokey eyeshadow.

And Momma Poodle approved the curls hehe

SIL strategically planned to do the girls hair early before I was ready because we all agreed my hair was going to take a long time just to curl.

We all had so much fun while getting ready, I think it was just what I needed, because it made all my nervous, freaking-out-over-lat-minute-stuff go away :)

After they finish with my hair, I fixed my Moms hair :)

Lily, our flower girl wasn't liking the big flower I had attached to her dress, so we had to remove it, but it was alright after we took the flower she was happy

Poor lily!

We all had a girl moment and got ready to dress!

BM Katy was giving her make up the last touches.

And I jump to my dress

As you can see I was pretty excited :)

I attached my sash

And of course had to have a Poodle somewhere!

So excited!

At that time Lily was all excited too!

All ready!

If you remember at my bridal shower, we had a very special moment where Mr. Poodles Aut Margaret hand me the ring that her grandmother wore at her wedding, ever since every bride of the family has got a chance to wear it somehow, I decided to attach it to my bouquet. and wrote in the card with their wedding dates.

It was such a fun morning getting ready with my friends and family, we relax, joke around and enjoy every single moment :)
