The Secret Garden becomes an understatement when compared to Angela and Brian’s floral-laden wedding day at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown.   From adorable seed packet escort cards to trendy glass dome terrariums, this couple’s special day brought a whole new meaning to a formal garden party.  Bronze, gold, and pewter décor elements were accented with soft blossoming pinks, tangerine oranges, and vibrant yellows.   However, nothing could outshine the brightness shared between the loving newlyweds’ smiles!

Guests disclosed their best wishes for Angela and Brian on wishing stones and completed the celebration with one of our favorite end-of-night trends, a sky lantern send off!

A passion for the summertime and art of landscaping prefaced Terra & Nikos’ radiant summer love story.  This fun loving couple’s inspiration stemmed from their gorgeous private abode nestled in Harrisburg, Pa.  The property’s artfully landscaped acres—done by the groom and his local landscaping firm, Utopian Landscapes—served as the perfect site for the couple’s “I Do’s” and rapturous outdoor celebration.

The newlyweds’ vision words to describe their special day were: casual outdoor atmosphere paired with a rustic country vibe.  A color story of satin navy blue hues mixed with vibrant pops of sunflower yellow tied into the radiance of their wedding celebration.  Continue reading today’s #WeddingWednesday post to see the natural beauty and simplistically chic details of Terra & Nikos’ July romance.

The natural elements of the couple’s private residence such as their lush fields and rustic barn offered breathtaking backdrops for every picturesque moment.

The celebration began with a casual cocktail reception on the lawn featuring fun butlered hors d’oeuvres such as the miniature margherita pizzas, firecracker chicken rolls, and famous mozzarella caprese pipettes pictured above. The greenhouse structure in the background served as a unique location for the bar.

And we just can’t ignore how much we adore the vibrant pops of yellow from the bride’s sunflower patch! The Weddings by JDK Floral Design Team loved combining a mix of ivory garden roses, spray roses, and blue delphiniums with the bright sunflowers. A perfect rustic, country-chic look!

Terra & Nikos’ beautiful celebration was complete with a clear, starry-skied evening and this loving look shared between the newlyweds. This stunning photograph by (mattnnat) captures it all!

The Weddings by JDK team is ecstatic to finally unveil details from the Unveiled13 Wedding Show this past Saturday. It was an honor to co-produce such an incredible show with our sister company, Métalaye, and to completely transform the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center into a wedding fairy tale. Both teams are over the moon with excitement from the show and had a blast meeting every special couple!

A quick shout-out goes to the amazing group of hard-working and uber-talented vendors that contributed their time and services to our premier bridal event. We tip our hats to you!

Now for the details . . .

Below is a collection of photos from the Weddings by JDK area.  The space featured four vignettes stylized with four of the hottest wedding trends starting with one of our favorites, the modern lodge glam tablescape.

1. Modern Lodge Glam

This first look embraces outdoorsy elegance present in the mixtures of blushes, glowing ivory, wood, and antlers.  Mercury glass votives and modern silver flatware showed the sleek side of this lodge-inspired tablescape.  We still cannot get over the antler table runner and escort card wall!


2. Emerald and Gold Regality
This tablescape donned an elegant satin tablecloth in emerald with china, flatware, and table details glistening in gold. White ranunculus blooms and jewel-toned votives dazzled the center of this regal table that was lined with gold chiavari chairs. The handmade bride and groom pillows added a soft balance to the modern mirror accents.


3. Asian-Inspired Enchantment
Purples perfectly paired with bamboo dressed the third tablescape. A suspended bamboo escort card wall held paper crane escort cards.

4. Nautical Nuances
Silver rope flatware, mahogany chiavari chairs, soft candlelight, deep sea navy, and accents of vibrant coral completed the final look. A custom made sailboat served as the table number while a variety of seashells set the tone for an elegant beachy scene.

Part bridal gown consultation, “I Love My Dress” is a new fashion show concept created by Lancaster’s own POSH Bridal Salon.
