Teaser Trailer for Pixar's Incredibles 2

2017-11-19T17:48:00.002-06:00

The teaser trailer for "Incredibles 2" is here. Disney/Pixar's "Incredibles 2" opens in theatres in 3D June 15th, 2018. Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible. Directed by Brad Bird (“Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles”) and Nicole Grindle (“Sanjay’s Super Team” short, “Toy Story 3” associate producer), “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.

Swimming in the Lava Zone #LavaSwimming #Hawaii

2017-02-12T15:00:00.004-06:00

From SFGate

"According to USGS experts, this is even more dangerous than it looks.

But Hawaii native Kawika Singson looks right at home swimming next to the lava zone on Hawaii's Big Island.

The video Singson posted on YouTube shows steam coming off the rocks as the water comes into contact with the hot lava.

Conditions weren't exactly calm that day. As each wave hits, Singson was thrashed around, often getting far too close for comfort to the lava zone.

Experts advise you should never get too close to a lava zone because the steam it emits when it mixes with water can be harmful to your health."

Man punches a kangaroo in the face to rescue his dog #Kangaroo #RooPunch

2016-12-05T21:46:00.002-06:00

"A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs. One day while hunting one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear (boars have tusks like knives), the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run in to save both parties. You can see the dog trying to escape, wanting nothing to do with the kangaroo. The big buck kangaroo releases the dog when the owner gets close but then moves in to try and attack the human. A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel the owner easily , so he backs off a couple of times giving the kangaroo some space but he eventually changes the roo's mind with a punch to the snout, as it kept coming forward. The punch stops the roo and makes him think about the situation, giving the owner and the dog time to disengage from the big wild animal and leaving it to hop off and I suppose wonder about what just happened. We laughed at the absurdity of the situation and at how unfortunate it was for the dog and kangaroo. Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse. Young Kailem unfortunately lost his brave battle with cancer two days ago, so this hunt is part of the treasured memories his family and friends have. Having a dog get tangled up with a roo was never our aim or intention and we were happy no animals were hurt in the incident."

Google Earth VR is the Most Mind Blowing Virtual Reality Experience I've Had To Date! #VR #HTCVive #VirtualReality

Introducing Google Earth VR, our next step to help the world see the world. With Earth VR, you can fly over a city, stand at the edge of a mountain, and even soar into space. Google Earth VR is available now on Steam for the HTC Vive. Learn more at g.co/earthvr

Wow! This is cool.

For those of you who know me, you've heard me rave about my experiences with virtual reality since I bought an HTC Vive a few months ago. I think it's the best experience on the market and it just keeps getting better and better.

Today was the best. Google released an app for Google Earth VR and it is mind blowing. Tonight, I was sitting in the middle of my living room but it felt like I was flying all over the world including Paris, New York City, San Francisco, and perhaps weirdest of all for me, directly in front of my childhood home.

I floated all around Niagra Falls, the great pyramids in Egypt, and Devil's Tower in Wyoming. It was very surreal and I stayed up an hour past my bed time enjoying it. If you haven't experienced the HTC Vive yet, make arrangements to do so and check this out. You will be amazed!
